This video helped a ton. Thanks so much. Lens cover finally not so floppy back and forth.
Thank you for your helpful video !! You save my mju’s life !
Very nice repair 👌 I have a Miu, the disadvantage is that it has light leaks when zooming. The floodlight illuminates the film with circular streaks of light. Without using the zoom it's ok. Overall, it's a very nice camera, good lens, small size, dust resistance, etc.
Nice video.
Just an FYI for any one cleaning with alcohol on plastics that doesn't have a weak solution like for glasses. I'd be very careful with the strength you use of IPA. As it can stain the plastic turning it white and you'll never get it off. I would advise just a bit of spit (i know cringe haha) and a lint-free cloth instead. Not like you're removing grease from metal parts in an SLR or anything.
Thanks for the video. Im having a problem with lens cover. It works fine but when i close it sometimes camera turns on anyways. Any idea how to fix it?
you saved my camera's life. Thank you soooo much
What to do if one of the balls is there where the spring is supposed to be?
Saved my friggin holiday cheers🙏
Are there spare parts of the larger spring?
Could you please tell me the size of the click spring?
Mine are missing and I can‘t find any informations online to replace it. :/
I would really appeecuate it!! :)))
Vader called and wants his voice back. But it was a helpfull video.
Does anyone know what size the larger spring is? The one that goes between the two small black parts -- not under the ball bearings. That's the only part I'm missing.
The cover in my MJU is so sensitive to movement. So sometimes if I want to take a picture, my hand accidentally move the cover a tiny bit and it closed off and opened again. It's a bit annoying.
Great tips 👍
Bro tu video fue de mucha ayuda gracias te amo
De nada amigo
I have a 2 pieces missing I think, the original black piece and the spring in the middle…. Where can I get this spring as it is different size to the one you have on your video bio…
Still
Need help. The third spring that was inside the good camera cover. Where do I get this
I had to buy a wrecked camera to have that parts, I would have tried to make it with a 3d printer but I don't have one in my possession.
hey, i have this problem: one of the ball bearings fell out, so I wanted to remove the cover. While doing so, I think I broke off one of the little sticks, not that of the part that youve replaced but the one on the part where you place the spring and then that part that youve replaced. Do you have an idea how to fix this? :(
I think the same thing happened to me. It looked broken but it wasn’t they had just popped off. The little black piece slides on the two prongs and the spring goes under neath it on the right side.
@theturn Try sticking a small metal rod with superglue otherwise you will have to buy a wrecked camera that has those parts intact, I have not been able to find spare parts for the camera.
Dios te bendiga
