I love how you go right into the subject without irrelevant chatter (one of my pet peeves on TH-cam) and a short informative intro. Professional looking too.
Thanks for the new input. The #1 of your list I didn't think about that type of case but after I saw your video I think I probably will buy it. So again thank you :)
I don't understand why case videos aren't more popular. I used to go caseless, before phones turned into the bars of soap they are now. Now when buying a phone, I factored in the availability of cases :D I learned my lesson, coming from a OP7T which mostly had crappy McDonald's toy plastic eBay options and out-of-stock-everywhere originals.
Quick correction. The UAG monarch doesn't have alloy metal frame, it just a hard plastic frame. One of mine was broken and I can confirm. If it actually is an alloy metal frame, you wouldn't be able to wireless charging as well as making contactless payment.
Ive got a leather case on mine. I picked it up on amazon. I cant remember the price off hand but it was under 20 bucks. Its thin and my phone does not slip out of my hand. My favorite case ive ever used.
Thank you. You named the features most important to me, military grade drop protection, wireless charging/sharing, screen protector and its for the S21 (not the ultra).
Exactly why I wait a year to get a new phone so that whenever I get that phone the cases are dirt cheap I bought that same case for $9 on Amazon a year later when I got the S21
Thank you for this clear video. As someone who doesn't care what my phone looks like, as long as it just doesn't break or get damaged when I accidentally drop it/spill water etc, what would you say is the best case for the S21?
@@RoyFlorez I feel like a rugged case gives more protection and grip, but as long as it has serious drop protection I don't really care about the type of case
Got ya! I was curious because if you’re wanting rugged and style, I would say probably UAG is the way to go. Even Otterbox has some cases as well that work really well and look good too!
I currently have an Otterbox case simulator to the one in your video and think it works well to protect my phone over all. I have the Tmobile 360 ins. with my phone. I'm glad I do. My part time job is writing reports while on construction sites. I will grab my phone while walking the entire site many many times over. Either grabbing my phone out of my pants pocket or it coming out of shirt brest pocket it hits the ground here and there. I've watched several phone case drop test and have been impressed but the only surface that I can't find anyone dropping the phone on is large stone gravel. Lol - my local Tmobile store had 5-7 glass screen protectors in the store for my Samsung S21+ but because of me, they're all gone. They had to order and have the next one shipped to me. My question is what case does all the things you mentioned in this video but with a screen protector too? I like the UAG but ride a Harley and need a slim case for my mount. Hope to hear from you soon.
I'm not sure exactly what they claim but I know it's the bare minimum for military drop standard which is around 4ft. I want to say it's rated at 8ft. I'll try and double check
Yes it is! Just make sure your tempered glass gives you the ability to use your fingerprint scanner. I don’t know if you care about that but I know a lot of people don’t realize the tempered glass has to be compatible. You might know that already haha
No case honestly works with magnetic mounts in the car unless the case has has magnets. And then most of the time the case needs to be compatible with the car mount
Haven’t received a Mous case to review unfortunately. I really like the Rhinoshield case but I was only able to review two of their cases that I bought and returned. I like the Rhinoshield but I like a little thinner case for the most part.
Love the Monarch myself, only con for me is the flat black back shows fingerprints/smudges ETC. The Dbrand grip is also one of my favorite. Just wish the skins were reusable.
The drop and dust thing are kind of a given with these cases. They're all rated to a certain degree. As far as water goes, not sure what you mean by that? All cases can get wet and if you mean like an actual waterproof case, then those won't make a top 5 for me because of the bulkiness and forced 360 style case.
Why in the world would I want alloy metal next to my shatterable glass back? The reviews here are basically 100% aesthetic. I was hoping for some actual comparison of protective design, not just superficial comps.
4:05 - "The actual beauty of that new camera bump..." Really, there's NOTHING, zit, zip, zilch, zero beauty of a camera bump!! All that is a symptom of is that they used a smaller battery than what they could have used. Also it means the camera is harder to protect with a case. Of two phones where available in two versions. The "regular" with camera bump and a fatter with a battery to make up for a making the rest of the case larger to flush fit the cameras - I'd chose the flush version and get 2-3-4 days battery life instead of one or two(!) with not really that much bigger case and if using with cover the difference would be less as they can make the back thinner as they don't have a camera bump to make it up for (so it can lay flat on table without woble).

Best S21 case reviewer ever in the world. Especially for black coloured cases!
Thank you so much! Very awesome comment!
It would be really great to add the comment about if the case is rigid or flexible around the camera bump! Thats a deal breaker for me if its soft
The Otter Box is not soft or flexible at all, camera is protected 😀

Dang that desk setup is pretty cool!
Thanks!
Great review, very thoughtful. 👍
Great Work bro

whats the link to the dbrand grip I cant find it

Hello, great video. What is your wallpaper on your phone ? I love it.
Sir. I want to ask a question. How did u make ur AOD fonts bigger? I am desperately looking for a Way but so far, no avail.
Hi Roy
UAG case looks very nice, im in, thanks for all the reviews. What is the background or theme that is on your phone?
hi is the spigen case still available for s21 5g? i can't seem to find it anywhere pls help
Was able to get the UAG case for $14. Just upgraded to a S21. Looks like a great case
Hey dude. Nice video.
What monitor stand is that? I like how the keyboard fits underneath
It's from IKEA! I'll find it and send you a link
www.ikea.com/us/en/p/elloven-monitor-stand-with-drawer-anthracite-00485101/#content
Yes Spigen, you should have cut the camera accordingly!
How did you get that always on display? I have a s21 plus and couldn't find that clock style
Exactly why I wait a year to get a new phone so that whenever I get that phone the cases are dirt cheap I bought that same case for $9 on Amazon a year later when I got the S21
Where can I find that wallpaper you have on your phone ???

No problem! I’m glad I was able to help. What kind of cases do you usually like? Thin and slim or more rugged?
@@RoyFlorez I feel like a rugged case gives more protection and grip, but as long as it has serious drop protection I don't really care about the type of case

@@RoyFlorez thanks a lot for your quick responses and advice!
How does your favorite case fair with wireless charging?
Are there any cases that have a built in screen protector????
For me Spigen Tough Armour is the best.

How do I find the wallpaper he used😅
Great roundup! Do you prefer the Caseology Vault or Ringke Onyx?
If I had to choose between those two I would say Ringke Onyx
Having a hard time choosing can you share your opinion between the three, Caseology Vault, Spigen Liquid Air or Ringke Onyx. Thanks in advance.
I would say the Ringke Onyx
Thank you!!!
Great video! What is the best screen protector for this phone in your opinion?
At the moment I would say the screen protectors that Otterbox has to offer. I’m actually going to be doing a video on them this week hopefully.
@@RoyFlorez that would be awesome!, on galaxy s21 reddit people recommend AMFilm screen protector, so it would be great if you can test it.
Hey Roy, great video. Do you know what the drop rating is on the Spigen Ultra Hybrid?
I'm not sure exactly what they claim but I know it's the bare minimum for military drop standard which is around 4ft. I want to say it's rated at 8ft. I'll try and double check
Hey, so I just purchased the dbrand grip case but I do put my phone in pocket quite a lot. How bad is it to put and pull out the phone ?
It’s actually not that terrible!
@@RoyFlorez thanks for the feedback man! I can't wait!
Does the Uag case tampered glass friendly? Cause i thought of buying it and put on a tampered glass with it....

Hi Roy...your top pick sounds great...can the NFC option be used?
Yes! All of the cases are NFC compatible :)
@@RoyFlorez thanks for the answer!
No problem! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@RoyFlorez so,i got me one!...awsome case!...thanks again for the headsup!
Great clip!,thanks!
I like #3, however I woud never spend that much for a case
Is it better to get a 360 case or something like this with temepered glass or smth?
I always prefer a normal case with tempered glass
@@RoyFlorez is there a case that provides REALLY good lens protection. Like a piece of glass on the cutout or something like that?
What wallpaper is that?
Do you know if the uag with work with the magnetic car mounts

Can you attach a magsafe wallet from apple with the pitika cse?
Yes you’ll be able to
Im confused as to why the spigen over the ringke fusion clear case?
Which Fusion are you talking about? I picked Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid because of the matte finish bumpers.
What about rhinoshield or mous?
Haven’t received a Mous case to review unfortunately. I really like the Rhinoshield case but I was only able to review two of their cases that I bought and returned. I like the Rhinoshield but I like a little thinner case for the most part.
What is your favorite case that also has a port cover for the charging port?
How are you getting your always on display clock so large?
It's a clock from Good Lock
I'd buy the last case if it didn't have such an obnoxious back design. The side profile looks sexy tho.
Love the Monarch myself, only con for me is the flat black back shows fingerprints/smudges ETC.
The Dbrand grip is also one of my favorite. Just wish the skins were reusable.
That would be awesome if the skins were reusable
No ringke? Onyx is the bomb.
Trust me, on the top 10 that one will be on the list. I just wanted my top 5 to have a few different ones.
How about the poetic guardian?
and where is UAG CIVILIAN ??
I would say it’s a Top 10 case for sure!
I really wish uag made a cover for the charging port so it could stay clean
Nah
Thats it? Thats your criteria? How about drop, dust and water? Who cares right. booo
