Saddest death in the whole arrowverse. While some would say Laurel or Tommy it was the relationship of grey and jefferson. Their not like best friends. Their like father and son. Which makes this all the more harder to not cry
“How could a father do anything less” Goddamn I cried when he said that, his last words to Jefferson were so emotional and real Aside from his mum, Martin was the only one who truly believed in Jefferson, he saw his potential and loved him as his own son. He already lost Ronnie and I think that made him more determined to keep Jefferson safe
The only thing is everyone knew Oliver was gonna die. Legends spent so much time hyping up the fact that he was just gonna get written off then they kill him off out of absolutely nowhere
everyone just talks about oliver or cisco, but hr and this death are so underrated, theyre so terrible like theyre so bad you dont even want them to happen thats what defines how well made it is
I wanted to cry i felt immense sadness during the whole scene, and i almost did but i kept it together because i wasn't trying to cry in front of my brother, if i watched it by myself i definitley wouldve cried
Maybe for you but i think its realistic, he didn't cry because he was hoping for the best he expected stein to be okay in the end because they usually always find a solution but of course he still wanted to cry
Scenes like this really make me wonder wtf happened to the rest of the shows. Like there’s great scenes in each arrowverse show but 95% of it is just trash you have to sift through to get there😂😂
Just saw the scene…. Jefferson had no wet eyes. I did not see any tear. This scene was the worst acting I ever saw….. it was like a complete joke….. how bad is that Jefferson actor? He could at least try some onions or peppermint tricks to get some tears…. But that acting was so goddamn fake without having tears….. it felt like he was just joking around.
This could be sad, if his acting wasn’t so bad. This scene stuck out to me for all the wrong reasons. Victor Garber kills it, but the other actor Dennis from Attack the Block, sad isn’t an emotion for him to act out. He’s a good actor don’t get me wrong, but this isn’t the emotion for him to act out. He can’t even shed a single tear, all that crying and not one tear.
he didn't cry because he was hoping for the best he expected stein to live so he didn't cry but he didn't want stein to die either so he wanted to cry ill just pretend thats the reason why in my own altered version thats why
I had another thought, maybe he didn't cry because he wanted to seem strong for stein and he didn't want the last thing he sees in the world is jax being sad i feel like thats why he took a breath before he gave him the antidote he was composing himself trying to stay strong, forcing those tears back

Grey and Jefferson has the best father and son relationship in the whole arrowverse world
I completely agree. Their dynamic is what makes this scene so heartbreaking.
“How could a father do anything less”

I love the symbolism of Martin’s sacrifice. To save Stein, Jefferson chose to combine with him. To save Jefferson, Stein chose to separate from him.
Damn..... when you put it like that🥺🥺🥺
Saddest Death in the ArrowVerse i cried when I saw this scene saddest part was when he sayed
"thank you Jefferson for the Adventure of a life time"
This was so sad man… the actual actors showing true emotion and not fake tears really shows the importance of the characters.
You know it was emotional when everyone was in pain. Rest in Piece Stein
This scene was very emotional. Rest in piece Dr Martin Stein.
I always cry when I watch this scene
Kayla Torres same
Me too
Same
Me too this scene always makes me cry
To this day it still hurts bruh
I'm a sobbing mess right now
It was acutally emotional
Then we'll both die that man was ready to die with his friend
Not his friend. His chosen Father.
“I am not crying (allergies)” mick quote
i have basically never cried over something from television but this... This hurt me so much
Victor Garber was one of the best castings for any super hero media ever. I
This scene made me cry when it first appeared. Martin Stein was a real one in this one.
There not just best friends, there father and son🥺😭
One of the saddest deaths in the arrowverse
Saddest death period. I’d say one of the only ones that come close was Tommy and Quentin.
when he said thank you for the aventure of a lifetime tho…😢
This was a sad moment to watch
This is still sad no matter how many times I watch I still cry every time
Man this was one of the most devastating deaths behind Oliver Queen.
The only thing is everyone knew Oliver was gonna die. Legends spent so much time hyping up the fact that he was just gonna get written off then they kill him off out of absolutely nowhere
This is heartbreaking, but what's really fucked up is, that Martin was a *Jewish* character, who was killed by a Nazi.
And that Martin was a time traveler and his getting killing by nazis had nothing to do with time travel.
NO NOT GREY😭😭
First Ronnie, now Stein?!
How can Jax be firestorm now?
I think ronnie comes back at some point of time and he'll be firestorm with jax
@@juliansummers5983 if only, that would be cool but Jax is like thirty with kids
@@juliansummers5983
Surprisingly: He is back in Flash Season 8 !
But it's a demonic being AKA Deathstorm who took over his soul
In the comics he becomes the new captain cold afterwards
Don’t think I cried more than his death like it was feeling the loss of grandfather
I just found out he was in titanic. Belive his character was the person who designed the ship.
Yes! He played Thomas Andrews!
When you realize Martin was Jewish and he was killed by Nazis. :-o
Eashan Patel lmao ikr
Another way to look at it- Martin was Jewish and sacrificed himself to stop the Nazis.
everyone just talks about oliver or cisco, but hr and this death are so underrated, theyre so terrible like theyre so bad you dont even want them to happen thats what defines how well made it is
I cried when I watched this😭😭
I'm crying😭
Then we both die❤
im crying rn
He was like a dad to Jefferson
This part my little brother and I cried a lot on this scene.😢😭😭
Sometimes I think I am an emotionless person the. I get hit with a whammy and here I am… bawling my eyes out. 🙃
If u didn't cry during this scene then ur a psychopath
I wanted to cry i felt immense sadness during the whole scene, and i almost did but i kept it together because i wasn't trying to cry in front of my brother, if i watched it by myself i definitley wouldve cried
@@Lavastorm_ As long as u felt sad
I can't cry during anything but I did feel sad.
I liked it, but It would be 10,000x better if Jax could actually cry on command…
Maybe for you but i think its realistic, he didn't cry because he was hoping for the best he expected stein to be okay in the end because they usually always find a solution but of course he still wanted to cry
R.I.P Martin Grey Stein!! You are not alone!! I missed you so much!! Your new home of Heaven and Jesus Christ!!
I didn't really care for these two characters, but his death was so well written and acted i bawled like a baby.
Compared to the cosmos ones life is just a blink of an eye
I too cry
Scenes like this really make me wonder wtf happened to the rest of the shows. Like there’s great scenes in each arrowverse show but 95% of it is just trash you have to sift through to get there😂😂
That's some bullshit right there.

I mean its a sad moment but oh God the acting is terrible
Seems pretty good to me..
Not even a tear fell smh it was really horrible.
Well this scene made almost the whole DC universe cry so💯🤷♂️🤣
he didn't cry because he was hoping for the best he expected stein to live so he didn't cry but he didn't want stein to die either so he wanted to cry ill just pretend thats the reason why in my own altered version thats why

Please don't talk like that
1:56 the worst acteur of this world.... so trash
Jefferson had the worst acting in the franchise 😂😂😂
He ruined this scene.
This is horrible acting. Not even a tear come on!!
Worst crying scene ever. 😂🤣 Guy was terrible 👎
Shut up
