Wow you can just see how nervous Scarlett is vs Serral. At the end of match #2 she's trying to shake off the nerves. It's crazy how far she's come over the years! Go Canada go!
Absolutely love the northern/finland footage, as a northern swede by heritage I can really feel, and smell, the landscape. Sure, it isn't always like that, but during the winter months that it is it's unlike anything else.
The production values on those intro vids is great. What a fantastic tournament all round.
Still queen of the Mutalisks :) cool to see them getting some use in game 1 there! And WOW at game 2
I love how they took Serral to a more picturesque town to take the "walking along the river" shots :-)
Serral in my eyes still holds as the best defensive player I have ever seen, he is more consistent than the Sunrise this morning...
I Really like the pre-game analysis of the map and units, however I feel it could be improved on a lot. Unit cards with like stats and what units they are good vs and bad vs below that could be really cool and helpful for people who don't play the game to understand what is going on.
Great job on the casting and tournament.
Did they dumb down the casting ? Because I know virtually nothing about the game and I understand most of what they're talking about.

29:07 well I don't know about that. Judging from her previous GSLs she choked so bad against innovation especially. Instead of 2:0 ended up losing 1:2 throwing away commanding lead twice

I usually root for Serral, but I don't mind the outcome of this match, no matter where it ends.

serral played really well in game 3
Scarlett is not focussed on the later stages of the game on this map (or whatever he was saying), yet has 4 bases to 3... UGHHHH I've been a better caster by not casting (wishing I had the tools currently however), that those CONSTANT, obviously false comments.
I am curious to know what these pros are doing when their keyboard hand is just flying away. I only know it's something to do with control groups, but that's about the extent of it.

It isn't really an international championship. There is a strong correlation with people who can at least speak English as a secondary language being part of this. South Korea for example has the highest English proficiency in all of east Asia, this is why you rarely see Chinese or Japanese players (because many of them don't know about this American game and don't play it).
It's mostly a game between Europe, Anglo countries and South Korea. You don't even get many Russians playing it (who also have low English proficiency rates).
So it isn't really international, but it would be a multi national competition.
There really aren't any true international game competitions out there in fact.

The casting on these game are horrible. I heard pig and I was like great. The casting gonna be awesome, but that other guy wouldn't shut up. Lol. That sucks I really wanted to watch these.
