I live near the hall, it's a cool place, The grey lady is most often seen by the small bridge outside the hall next to where the old coaching house used to be, my Grandmother used to tell us some crazy tales about that place, apparently there is a spirit of a cat that roams the hall, one person who attempted to stay overnight left covered in scratches claiming they were attacked by a cat although no cat was to be seen. It's a creepy place, but on the times I've visited I've never experienced anything myself. Great to see you visit Bolton, yeaaahhhh we been mentioned on the TH-cam's. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

That's a beautiful place. That did sound like a chair moving. Because no one else was in the room with you. And the sound came from the area of the corner with the round table or the other end of the dinning table. I've heard that same noise many times at my Grandfather's home , getting ready to sit down to Dinner. The pulling out of the chair to sit down. Awesome. Really enjoyed this adventure with you. The story of the guy that created the MEL meter is incredibly sad. He created it in effort to communicate with his deceased daughter, whom he truly believed was trying to communicate with him. He created the device to try and make it easier. The device is named after his daughter. It's a device used to detect if "Mel" was around him, which is short for melanoy If I remember correctly.

As for the dragging yet no chairs being moved, I used to live in a basement apartment and always heard chairs dragging across the floor when my landlady upstairs wasn't home. Finally ran up there to check during such occasion, and nothing was out of place. 🤷
You know, A lot of those antiques would look so much better in my house *drool*. =P As for the foot print the sign said he was burnt alive. Would maybe the footprint be an outline of his foot from being burnt? Great video and a beautiful historical place. Thanks guys.
With respect, I think you need to be more specific with what you want spirit to do. Knock on table or walls. Move an object. Copy me whistle etc. Lovely place to investigate 😊
