“How do I do these things? I feel like I was going so well too!” Is the thing I utter every time I do any project like this, or build furniture. 😂 well, we get there in the end 😁
Looks good to me considering you didn't know what you were doing????? You have a knack for making things work out, Tim. And I catch every nuance of your humor. It cracks me up because you can't help yourself😆🤪😅😅
That table turned out amazing! And I love that a bird came and visited you while you were working on it. So wonderful that you have a hose in the garden area now. That IS one of the best improvements! 💜
Congratulations Tim, beautiful work. Capsicums, roast potatoes or wedges. Now you need a fire pit and bench seats. You might have apricot trees. Enjoy all your hard work. ❤ Sue
Love the bench, Tim. The rustic look is perfect and it seems you know exactly what you're doing. The veggie garden is coming along beautifully, Nicole. Thanks for the orchard info. 😊❤
You did it! You solved it. Thank you! This app worked perfectly and they are damson plums and it appears more than one so they pollinate each other. You guys help me so much! Thank you!! Guess we will be making jam 😊
Nicole you should just be in the videos! We’re not that harsh plus you know about all the plants anyway and Tim has to ask you questions about them. Tim benches are gorgeous! You did a great job I love that you had a go and look how amazing it turned out
Did you think about putting a board on the back to act as a kind of backsplash? It would also protect the surface somewhat from debris or items rolling off. Great job on the benches. Enjoyed your video.
Wow, a concreter that made the fall away from a structure rather that towards the structure. I'm shocked, I haven't seen that in decades since moving to Queensland.
Mate that looks better than some of the benches you can buy at bunnings for example.. I would love to do something like that but id also be incorporating a bar fridge down the bottom and a webber bbq.. Just in time for summer
if you have a iPhone you can go in really close with the camera and take a picture of the leaf or flower and then when you swipe up from the bottom of the pic it will show a leaf symbol and it may tell you what the trees are. I know it does it for flowers
That looks awesome Tim, I think it's great that you don't claim to be a pro, you're learning with us and it feels more genuine. Just out of curiosity, are you guys living at your other place whilst you do stuff at the property and before building the house on the property?
You have probably been told this……do not go out in the yard when it’s windy……trees aren’t called “widow makers” for nothing especially gum trees they drop their branches even after it has been windy…..our termite man had a gum tree fall on him while he was on his ride on mower after a windy couple of days he survived, luckily, but months later has ongoing issues with his back and can only work intermittently…..everything is looking great on your 10 acres…..well done to you and Nicole…. …
First you are doing great! Second I have had to skip ads due to one being 30 minutes and one being 10 minutes. I checked the time after watching at least a minute. Do you get paid anything off of those we skip?
@@nicolet607 yeah it’s not perfect, I’ve been given wrong answers on there too, but you’re on a grower’s garden page, ask them - they would know for sure.
I was actually lured here by your unboxing of the Ryobi set. Other than "functional", there was not really any info, and you teased that you would use the tools in this video. I thought you'd share a thought or two about how it actually went using the Ryobi line. Would you, please? Also: I am super envious. Those tools are so cheap in Australia! The 8 tool set, but instead of a blower, there is a jigsaw in it, and the batteries are 2x2Ah, instead of 2x4Ah, is at the highest discount about 660 EUR in Germany, which is a whopping 1083 AUD, if I can believe Google. 699 AUD in EUR is 425, at the moment. If I bought enough tools in Australia, I'd save enough to fly over there and get them home myself! 😂
@turfandtools thank you, this is really helpful! Buying a cordless set as an amateur, I'm going to be using them for a few years. I know Ryobi is not top-notch, but at this stage, the most bang for my buck will have to do. And hey, who says it's going to be a bad choice? If you're interested, I'll let you know how it went! And I'll watch your videos. I just found your channel today. 😉 For now, have a good one!
Looks like you had fun, which is all that matters. Surprised your Ryobi kit didn’t include a sander. Those supports at either end of the mitre saw should adjust up and down, in and out, to support your materials. You don’t want the end of the board dropping as you make the cut because it won’t be square. Get some heavy duty hooks for one end of the bench to hang your cooking tools. Maybe a metal container mounted flush with the edge at the other end so you can just brush any food bits off the bench into the container. I wouldn’t advise plants hanging over your food prep surface because of water dripping after you water them, bugs and leaves falling off, or other detritus. You might consider replacing those thin boards at the back of the work surface with a taller piece so you don’t accidentally push anything off the back. Like a backsplash or stop. Nice job.
🥰🤩🥳Looks fantastic!!! and an extra YAY for getting Nicole's water pump!!

Absolutely beautiful job - love the rustic look! You should hang herbs on the wall that you can then use on your pizzas 😉
Love the bench, Tim. The rustic look is perfect and it seems you know exactly what you're doing. The veggie garden is coming along beautifully, Nicole. Thanks for the orchard info. 😊❤

Tim, I pick on you but you're awesome too.

That bigger fruit tree with the most leaves looks like a plum. The one with pink flowers will be a peach or nectarine
I think you are right!
Wow, amazing job building this Tim !!! Love the rustic look ✨✨✨✨✨

Nice job!! That bench is practically a copy of the bench I made in my reloading room. 👍 I was really hoping that brave bird would land on your arm.
Oh WOW Tim i just love your outdoor benches and i hope that you and Nichole didnt eat all of those pizzas 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕yourselves haha

Omg - watching you struggle with that top bench has to be the highlight of my day - thanks Tim 🤣🤣🤣
Also 600mm is your standard benchtop width - so id go 600
Glad I made your day even though I didn’t turn up 😂

Thanks! No sink in the plans
Good evening Tim and Nicole
Hi!
Hi 😊
Pronounced merboo in my household lol
Have you tried taking a photo on the iPhone? It has a plant identification feature now.
Yes have tried that but unable to get a definitive answer
@@nicolet607 yeah it’s not perfect, I’ve been given wrong answers on there too, but you’re on a grower’s garden page, ask them - they would know for sure.

Did great and realistically is more than enough for a DIYer. It was all decent sized hardwood also. 🙌 hard to knock for the price

Stop selling yourself short Tim,
Yeah after all he is 7ft tall 😂
Hi where did you get the pizza oven from?…sorry to be nosey

@@turfandtools thank you
The small tree looks like a lemon tree
I’ll take your word for it!
I agree but I was kinda hoping it was a like as we have a prolific Meyer lemon in there too
Often, people put two of the same fruit trees next to each other so they'll pollinate one another.
Oh that makes so much sense - thank you! I think you could be right
You sound just like me learn as you go with a few mistakes
