Oil Hunting - Frostpunk 2 Campaign (Episode 3)

With the (depressing) prologue behind us, I am now in the first chapter of Frostpunk 2's campaign, titled "Scraping the Barrel." To keep the generator alive, I need to hunt for a new source of fuel. In this game's case: oil.
At long last, the sequel to 2018's Frostpunk has arrived. Frostpunk 2 officially releases on September 20, 2024. I purchased the deluxe edition to bring you the game's prologue a few days early! The sequel takes place 30 years after the events of the first game and the apocalyptic blizzard that nearly destroyed the last city on Earth. New challenges and threats to the fragile society await you, The Steward, as the successor to The Captain in the first game! Extract precious resources, explore the Frostland, and manage factions and political interests in your city... or face a revolution! The city must not fall!
About the game: Frostpunk 2 elevates the city-survival genre to a new level. Take the role of a Steward and lead your city through a cascade of calamities taking place in a postapocalyptic, snowy setting. Build large city districts with their string of endless needs and demands. Navigate through conflicting interests of factions that populate your metropolis. As the needs of the city grow and factional power at its core rises, only you can steer the society towards an uncertain future.
