I live with 10 mins of 3 ALDI locations and 5 traditional big Grocery stores. We so prefer ALDI for incredible price savings, but I really appreciate the way ALDI respects my time in store. The aisle layout and store selection of products is carefully designed--some would say limited--want a fancy word "curated", but it is super smart. I don't waste any time wandering endless aisles trying to chose between 3 or 4 different brands. I know whatever I choose it will consistently be good quality & great price. On the few occasions when I was disappointed I got a replacement product and my money back no questions.
I’m 55 yrs old and my mother would shop at Aldi when I was growing up. A lot has changed since then. The quality has gotten so much better. I shop there every week.
I love Aldi’s new grass fed Australian cheddar! That stuff is soooo good! I made a dinner last night that was 100% Aldi and I think probably Bobby approved. I made some of their wild-caught frozen pink salmon (seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika and pan seared in avocado oil) and served it with a side salad of their organic baby mixed greens, topped with a little shredded grass-fed cheddar, some organic pecan pieces, and a homemade maple-mustard vinaigrette (evoo, apple cider vinegar, brown mustard, maple syrup, salt, and pepper). But I’ve put that cheddar on top of all kinds of stuff and it’s delicious. I made a sweet potato, apple, and bacon hash the other day and topped it with a fried egg and some of that cheese and it was amazing.
I’m kinda confused. Why wouldn’t stores want you to record? When I see TH-cam reviewers for any store it makes want to try the stores products-wether the review is good or not. I love getting your informative videos. Thank you so much.
Because reviewers like Bobby or other health channel gives bad reviews on selective food. I'm not talking about junk food, but food that suppose to be healthy. Food that have bad ingredients like high inflammatory cooking oil. Anyway, they view it will discourage people to buy selective food that big seller compare to a "Bobby Approve" food.
It's almost like free advertising. I only understand because I worked retail and they do not want people filming and this was 10 15 years ago the same way.
Can I just be part of your following and statistics to say that your videos are highly knowledgable and inspiring to get the best of the best whether the prices higher lower or the same and I thank you!!
You could make your own butternut squash soup with those frozen pre-chopped butternut squash and to sweeten it use an apple- like honeycrisp while its boiling in stock. So delicious!!
A few years ago I was in Wales and was thrilled to find an Aldi's...it was so different from the ones found here in the states. The biggest difference was the store seemed to be more aware of healthy options...no junk food right at the entrance like ours was at home...no it was organic trail mix and good snack options. We were delighted when our Aldi was renovated and made more like the European ones, not as much health awareness, but better, and now they are evolving into the store I shopped in Wrexham, Wales. :)
I see I gotta go to an Aldi up north smh. Thanks for the updates Bobby, can’t wait to try most of these food items as I’m slowly changing my diet to better quality foods.
Great video! This location reminds me of the Aldi stores we saw on a trip to Scotland in 2018. They were larger, and had a bigger product selections than the stores located in the U.S. midwest region..
WOW! My neighborhood Aldi is 1/4 the size of that one. Thanks for review. I made the mistake of not reading the ingredients on specialty whiskey cheese. Got home and tasted it only to be disappointed. It had rennet. No wonder it tasted off from what I'm used to.
Aldi is the only goodish option near us but so jealous...thanks for risking being put in the freezer hold for us! I got the silver hills just like that a few days ago its so good especially for $3.99!

The simple organic cans soups (that was next to the butternut squash soup)are actually really good. Tried the chicken noodle, lentil, and tomato soup and it was wayyy better then the amys brand.

I love their multi seed keto zero carbs bread. Can only buy three loaves at a time in my aldi. So I go back the next day and stocked up and froze all 6 loaves. I buy most of my goodies from Trader Joe’s. TGIF!

Bobby, next time you speak with ALDI corporate in Batavia, can you please get a confirmation whether ALDI is non-GMO or not, like their cousin store, Trader Joe's, is non-GMO. Several years ago, I was told that their private label items were non-GMO.
Aldi and Lidl ( Mid- Atlantic area) have the best tasting Egg Nog (mid-Atlantic area) no high fructose corn syrup. Dairy Maid Dairy. I know, Egg Nog is not good for you but sometimes it's nice to splurge.

New aldi looks nice. I was wondering does that sprouted bread have gluten in it. I currently do keto but trying to dabble in paleo. Just cant handle the gluten
I was so happy to find those bean/stock soups. They are not good...they had a weird bitter flavor and I wasn't a fan of either. The tomato soup/stock was quite wonderful though.
11/7 expiration date on that bread!? Sheesh. In Minnesota, that bread just hit shelves on the 28th with an expiration date of 11/2. What's that 5 days? They have some great bread, but the expiration dates in my neck of the woods are way too short. I don't go through bread that fast 😣
I only eat the Aldi sprouted breads. And I'm the only one in my family who eats it. AND I had weight loss surgery a couple years ago, so I can't eat much. Mine stays on the counter in my kitchen and lasts about 6 days. I rarely throw any away.

Those lamb options look great. Target usually has a decent selection of lamb as well. I prefer it to beef for a lot of things.
