one of the very best bands ever of the 80s and the hardest to find cds from even back then . to this day still want bih box set collections to come out so i can have it all !!!!!!!!!!!!
JAMR1977 is de mon for real great tunes once again ,friend your a better man than i...........merry xmas to ALL( no discrimination ) to the past and to what the future holds for our US..!!!friends have a great one this year ,help those in need ONE LOVE .......touching from a distance
Will someone please, please issue this band's entire recorded output in a deluxe CD box set, with an informative book? Including photographs, liner notes, maybe the lyrics? I can assure you, I'd place an advance order, before the actual release date! They never issued their music on CD, in the 1980's. Their vinyl records are out of print. The old vinyl recordings are wearing down, from so many record needles at work on the record grooves. Surely there are many people who would like to own all of their wondrous, nocturnal, beautiful music in a multi, deluxe edition CD set? Don't make me wait too long- we're already approaching the year 2020! The music of Blue In Heaven is a shining memory of the 1980's. They deserve to be heard again!
That is the Martin Hannett-produced version. As far as I remember, it was inclued with the 12" single as the third track (the first track is the Hugh Jones version, the second is 'A Whiter Day').
The 12" of Across my Heart has another version of Across my Heart on the B side, which is produced by Martin Hannet....up to now I havent heard it, but I thiunk this could be the Hannet version.....it does sound like it has been touched by the genius hand of Hannet!
the 12" had two different versions of across my heart and A whiter day and I have the tracks on CDR as I do not have a record player. I have all my BIH on CDR even rock N roll ep.
Can you tell me where you got this version from? It's not the single version and your video is the cover of the 12" of I Just Wanna. I'm intrigued to know where it came from. Cheers.
I've got the 7" of this and on the B-side is (i think) A Whiter Day, was this version included on the 12" as it's a different version on the 7"? That's a very kind offer but I'd feel bad depriving a BIH fan of hard to find vinyl.
soy ENRIQUE..fabulosa cancion...nunca la habia escuchado...gracias..suban mas
Really lush track, loves it !
Perfect antidote for any pity party I want to throw for myself. Dreary days listening to post-mod '80s music is a remedy for my soul.
i love this song so much, i can never decide which version i like more.

Sounds like The Sound, if Adrian Borland (RIP) sang... Thanks for the upload!
This version of the song is A THOUSAND TIMES better than the one produced by Hugh Jones. Everything Martin Hannett touched just turned to gold.
As thought at the time close to the Blue Nile in sound

Hugh Jones' version sounds like an human-made production. Hannett's version sounds like it was produced by a god. Well, nothing far from reality. :)
