I have been looking for this channel so badly, I watch the "can you a 9-5 job sustain you" and it inspired me so much but i lost the name of the channel, just bumped into it again on Tik Tok now

I ask this with a sincere desire to understand my African fiancée not to place blame or pass judgement. Is it possible that African parents have narcissistic tendencies that traumatize their children into never question them and always put their parents needs and emotions first even above their own and their own families and anyone who seemingly threatens that, will be considered evil or unworthy. The whole biblical reference of "honor thy mother and father" is heavily enforced and butchered as to create a sense of constant guilt and feeling as though the child is never doing enough. Does that carry onto a child and their relationships or marriages and their own kids? Particularly being African and Christian, where men are considered the head of the household and more valuable than the girl/woman? I, in no way, mean any harm or to offend anyone, if I did, I apologize sincerely, I love you all and your cultures. Our parents simply did what they knew all we can do is try to understand and love them through our own healing.
