To say this was a detailed overview would be an understatement. I watched this over a span of 2 days. sooo now I'm going to go to the sections I need to rewatch when I set up the board and review before I teach. I will say, this might have been a liiitle tighter. I thought there was definitely some things that were a little redundant, but man it's clear you put a TON of work into creating this and I will be referring back to it in the future. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching! I know some areas get redundant at times and I am trying to improve, I walk a fine line since I have quite a few international viewers who do not natively speak english who message me they appreciate it.
Thanks for the detailed rules, one thing i noticed was with the +5 strength, -2 Undefendable damage, the player whonpkayed that card is the one who suffers the undefendable damage. Great attention to details with the how to play.
I made the foolish assumption this was an update to the card, sadly I was very wrong! I have a few commented corrections in the comment section, hopefully those help everyone enjoy the game. Thanks for watching!
Nothing in this game seems hard to understand however there are a lot of rules. Thanks for the awesome video i've watched it 2x and feeling ready to play Kemet for this first time.
This is a great in depth look at how to play. Helped me confirm I was playing this mostly correct and also helped a few things click in my head that I was getting wrong. Thanks so much!
This is actually really good. It’s very easy to understand. I’m not that concerned about the length of the video because it’s so detailed I feel like I really get it 😊
I think you made a mistake . The card with minus two black drops indicates a damage you inflict on your own units. That's why it has a minus instead of the usual plus. It is basically a kamikaze attack. you cause a lot of damage (5)but at a cost in terms of units.
The rules say "each player in battle loses as many units from their troop equal to the total unblockable damage value their opponent has". So he played it correctly?
@@chapstar1985 There's an official errata and clarification of the rules. The player that plays the card with unblockable damage with the minus sign (in this case -2) will need to lose two of their own units (not the opponent's).
The drunk speak effect is why I try to speak evenly eheheh sometimes it works,,, and sometimes it sounds like..... an empty bottle of good scotch whiskey.. =) Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!
Nice tutorial. Would be useful for new players One suggestion: no one looks at TH-cam description. You may want to write your errata in the comment section and pin it Also, for a 2 player game, all duplicate tiles are removed (only 1 charge) and also no act of god tile (no silver token)
The tutorial is way too long and rambling to be of real use. I recommend that people watch a 30 minute Kemet tutorial and then just check the minor differences in blood and sand.

A monster must be associated with at least one unit you control at all times. So while you can split forces and drop off some and leave a monster, they need to be associated with at least one of your units. Thanks for watching.

I had a question regarding setup for 5 player game. For a 5 player game setup uses all 4 of the colours of the power tile sets, however player boards only have 3 slots for the "buy and power tile" and you start with 3 pyramids. So does this mean you have to choose only three of the colours from the 4 available "buy a power tile"and does your three pyramids need to match the colours of chosen for the "buy a power tile"'.
