Here's Eric Henderson performing his arrangement of the Rolling Stones classic "Paint It Black" written by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, on a 2019 Brian Cohen "1935 Hauser I" classical guitar made with spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

I sat unable to move for almost a minute after this performance , it was amazing .
I grew up with Eric, always admired his unbelievable guitar playing!
A client in USA sent me this link: Not what I expected, but so pleased to hear this performance- (Short scale 64.3 cms based on the 1936 Kingsley guitar.) Thank you Eric for this energetic performance.

That Kingsley guitar is absolutely amazing. And no wonder Eric is tearing through this peace with such ease it being a smaller scale insurgent, but he's just good overall
*The* greatest Stones song with the greatest arrangement and performance I have heard. I'd like to hear Keith's reaction to that.

I heard Eric Henderson studied under Andres Segovia, practicing for 8 hours a day. He used to teach lessons at the Guitar Shoppe in Laguna Beach, not sure if he is still there.

Classical guitar teachers should ad these type of classic rock songs to their list of songs to teach!! I think it would attract a lot more students, keep their interests high and ad some fresh material for the audiences as well....IMHO

Pretty freaking cool!! I almost always hate classical-guitar-ized versions of iconic rock tunes - they come out sounding like Muzak. Not this. Dude really captures the early Stones "bad boys of rock" style. The only thing missing (at the end) was a pick slide down.
