@@Colorado4x4 Thank you, sir. I have to give the credit to Kingston Peak for being something interesting to point the camera at, editing only goes so far.
@@ColoradoOverland snow was 1.5 feet deep in some places and we were breaking trail!!! passed 2 4 runners and a tacoma who all turned around at the first gate, but we made it past up to Loch Lomond lake
@@erickbanks Breaking trail on the first snowfall is rare, you're lucky to have that experience. The lake must have been beautiful, and sounds like you had it to yourself too. Awesome!
Very nice. It was nice that you included where to turn on the route up. One question, I might be doing this trail this summer on an atv, do the atv guys park at the bottom at the very beginning of the video?
Thank you! The ATV staging area is on Columbine Campground rd, www.google.com/maps/place/Columbine+Campground+Rd,+Colorado/@39.8120515,-105.5428308,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x876bbbce995abc61:0x6ef82e54751717ed!8m2!3d39.8120515!4d-105.5406421
Yes it is, they are pretty capable and he had no issues the whole run. Kingston isn't hard, it's more about where you are than what you're doing. It helps that the driver is experienced and it's not his first rig.
what a beautiful opening shot with the child and dog running through the field. dang
Thank you! Just a perfect moment in time, I was lucky to be there.
Really great video! I like the way you put it together with the maps and all
Thank you! I appreciate you saying that.
Colorado Overland Routes and Elements I enjoyed it. It’s hard to make these types of videos interesting I think (with the GoPro) and this was great.

It's such a great trail, and a little snow should just make it more beautiful. Have fun!!

Are there aspens on this trail?
No, not really. Much of it is above treeline.
