got7 had a storyline that stretched across many mv’s, y’all mentioned how they kept saving jinyoung every time he was close to death which is important for their storyline, there’s a reason behind it. the order of the videos goes flight log departure (which is the start of everything), fly music video, flight log turbulence, hard carry, flight log arrival, and lastly was never ever.
i missed when kpop had in depth storylines that went through mv’s and allowed the fans to put two and two together. the only group right now who has such a huge storyline is ateez.
EXO also have had a continuous story in their mv's since their debut video and their concerts

"Never Ever" is connected to GOT7's "Fly" and "Hard Carry" and they are all part of their Flight Log album. In order to understand the full story you have to watch all 3 MVs, as well as their teaser trailer videos for Flight Log. The story starts out in "Fly" and continues in "Hard Carry," where we see there was a plane crash and the theory is that all the members died except JinYoung. In "Never Ever" we see he is brought back to life. All the other GOT7 members are spirits of themselves who are trying to save JinYoung.
On theory in "Never Ever" is that this MV shows how each member died.
> Jackson breaks the glass and gets out of the car showing that he was probably thrown from the car in the accident.
> Remember in "Hard Carry" how JB was driving the car and loses control of the vehicle, so in "Never Ever" we see him trapped in the car.
> Bambam dies in the ambulance.
> Yugeom dies in the emergency room.
> Youngjae manages to break the window of the car but drowns.
> Mark jumps in the water to try and save Jinyoung, but he can't get out of the water.
> In the end we see Jinyoung is resuscitated and is the only one that survives.
Something to note: The reason why you see the references to birds in a lot of GOT7's MVs and content is because GOT7's fandom IGOT7 (pronounced, "I Got 7") sounds like Aghase in Korean, which means "baby bird," therefore, the birds symbolize their fans. And that's why GOT7's lightstick is shaped like a bird.

Wow okay! Now I get it. Nice song interpretation. Coz I saw a lot of reaction videos getting confused and raising a lot of questions about the MV meaning.
So to understand the flight log trilogy, I guess watching every trailer of flight log series from departure, turbulence to arrival and then sequentially watching the MVs will help in coming with your own theory..there is a comprehensive fan theory about the trilogy though that most fans agree with
Yeah watching the MV and then prologue will help for the storyline. I wish they would react to fly too because I love that song a lot after if you do.

Haha I so want to explain the trilogy!! You kind of touch on it with why do they keep saving him!? Now that youve seen the middle and the last part of the trilogy I dont think its a spolier anymore. Lol so maybe stop reading if you dont want spolied. But basically theres a car crash in Fly amd theyre all flying around. And remember in Hard Carry how Jinyoung keeps floating off and the other.members pull him back? So in Never Ever here we see the carcrash. And how all the members die. Jackson hitting the wall, JB when hitting the water, Mark rescuing Jinyoung from the car after Youngjae breaks the hlass (happened in Hard Carry as well) Yugyeom and Bambam at the Hospital (Bambam on lifesupport with that stylized mask) Jinyoung at the end being the only one to survive. Its such a good trilogy

So the sequence of the trilogy MV is Fly > Hard Carry > Never Ever. The story of the trilogy is actually very sad unlike how the song sounds,
Ahgase had a fun time during these eras coming up with ideas/theories what happened in this trilogy. I’m sure someone has already sent the theory explanation

And this theory was actually confirmed back then by 2 members, but I think later on Jackson thought it was making their fans sad and tried to debunked it during a live with Bambam, who was backing the theory up. (I don't know exactly if it was those two in the live, I've watched it ages ago 😅)

Ok... the mv of never Ever is connected to the trilogy Fly, Hard Carry and Never Ever...
but the songs and lyrics aren't in correlation with the mvs... it s kind of weird but impossible to get the trilogy without the trailers, and even then you might need the explanation vid. Really you need to check the trailers, especially for Fly.
