Hi Simon so as of Sunday I have attempted the color clearance 230 times over the last week the nearest I got was I got to the black ball once. And I am right handed. I will keep going to a 1000 tries if I don't succeed by then I guess snooker is not for me. Wish me luck.

So finally completed the colours. Had to use the rest with the brown and blue and pick where shots off the cushion then a roll in for the black. Took 516 attempts. I did get down to the black 5 times in total missing 4 times.

Well done Phillip. Keep working on it until position is obtained, to allow each shot to be as simple as the last. Soon you will become more confident and this alone will allow you to attempt the 51 drill.
Here you will then find yourself becoming more competent during a competitive game of 15 reds.

The table I got was also a steel block made by shedder when I went to pick it I didn't realize the price was for two tables so set one up using existing cloth and will set the other one up with the new cloth I have coming from the UK.

Two tables??? Blimey! I wouldn't mind one. I don't have the space really anyway, well we all have dreams and this is mine.
However, it hasn't really done me any harm not having one.

Hi Simon, you seem to improve. I'd like to ask you if you suggest the 22 attempts for every exercise. Thank you very much.

There's no real reason other than it's a thorough test, giving a consistent amount of effort.

Hi Simon I am getting back into the game after a 30 year break, I am right handed and see your progress which is very helpful. I am about the same build as you and noticed at the moment your stance is more left leg forward than when playing left handed. Is this something you think you will need to address moving forward. I moved to the USA back in 2004 and unfortunately there isn't any tables for probably 1000 miles from me so I finally drove to Canada a month ago a brought a used table. So no excuses now As of yet the best I have done on the line up is the three colors I will let you no my progress. And I love your video's

Thanks for the comments. To be honest with you my opposite hand skill couldn't be more alien to me. I'm as good as learning from the start. My Stance is difficult to replicate playing right handed. Seems to be the main focus for attention. So no, it's not intentional. I'm just trying to 'find my feet'.
I have to say though, that I am really enjoying the process and the reward will be worth the struggle.
Happy to hear that you have sourced a table. I helped a friend of mine with his table he had. I had limited experience of building one but I do enjoy it. I think that we did an OK job. He needs some better bed cloth and cushion cloth though now, for it to be better. He has a Burroughs and watts steel block table.
      Good luck with it!

@@SimonSeabridgeSnookerCoaching I am sure it will come quickly to you, being ahead of the game with you left hand. I will keep watching. Interesting video series.
