Thanks for all the helpful advice and input. My eyes are getting old so this is my first magnifier. Got one for a steal at Academy today. $95 and will be putting it on my primary rifle. It was a display model that was missing the box, rubber lenses covers (unnecessary for me), and the 1/3 co-witness plate/mount. So other than not having the box and having to do an absolute co-witness with my BUIS (doesn’t bother me).I am happy with my purchase after watching this video and messing around with it behind my ROMEO5X. It makes the dot crisper and my slight stigmatism doesn’t effects it when magnifier is engage. Funny at part is I have a Sig Juliet3 arriving today for my .300 BLKOUT build (other rifle, not my primary training rifle). Also, I don’t want to mess anything up but I’m a left handed rifle shooter and want the magnifier to flip to my left. Which screws do I take out and what do I need to do in order to accomplish that. Thanks man ! Keep up the great content. Nothing but love coming out the 850 for you and your channel. I rarely subscribe to channels but I did with yours because you are the only one who shows how this thing works. You the man !
great review thx. love everything about this lil guy except the mount. for one it doesn't return to zero once I take it off and then put it back on, not to mention that if u smack it back to center the zero also changes. mine was purchased around march so YMMV

Where in 404 are you?
I'm not in the ATL.
@@404React_Media uh ok
Great video btw.. very helpful
Another great informative vid .. nice
Does it share the same footprint as the Eotech G33 (which the VMX-3T also uses)?

@@404React_Media yup and in all of Vortex's videos, they dont really discuss if it share the same footprints as the older Vortex VMX-3T and Eotech G33
Just picked mine up. And it won't fit on my rail for some reason. Do I need to loosen that screw a little bit so the lever will fully close?
And is that like a custom screwdriver? I can't get that screw to loosen
What type of rail did you have?
Mine wont slide on my rail, like the bar keeps getting stuck….what am i doing wrong?
Look at the video time frame 5:44, this should help you place your magnifier on the rail.

Nice rig!
Must be a competition carbine having no BUIS..? Eye relief, not eye release
Its a good magnifer
Thanks. Keep up the good work on your content.
I just bought a Trijicon (G-43) 3X magnifier ..... Maybe I should have bought this one ......
I don't think you can go wrong on either one. They both are good and you still could use an holographic sight with it.
I want one, but for the same price I can get an lpvo
The lowest price that I was able to find it at was Evevation Tactical at 279.99 but they are sold out now.
