Yes, and it’s the same for aspect of undying, I believe. Casting a skill, not damaging an enemy, activates it
You don't have a 2/7 Chance for rerolling when there ist a list of 7 possible stat. The stats have very different chances to occur in an Item. That also counts for enchanting

@@tswart007 Basically those yellow looking nodes on any board. The later the board (meaning if its the 2nd or the 7th board) the more the requirements are to achieve the secondary bonus. Hope that helps.

Doesn't matter if I have 60k or 100k HP with my barb, high level pits and Lilith can one shot you anyway, these one shot mechanics are my biggest issue and make me drop the game after an hour of play
And that's okay. You played long enough to challenge high level pits and end game bosses.

I running Rob's bash barb build; have grandfather/shako (with GA on cd). Masterworked all my gear to 12/12. Still can't really push beyond pit 90 which is starnge, boss battles take too long. Any advice what can be wrong/need be rechecked? (yeah, paragon is carbon copy and tempers all according to build, tho not perfect rolls/not all masterwork crits)

It's an effect from this season new craft able elixir of holy bolts. If you're lucky it can also be dropped randomly from any enemy you kill
All the other ones I already figured out myself playing the game, but damn I didn't realize each enchant has a different pool of affixes they roll from. I just assumed it was an equal chance from the list of all possible affixes for that equipment slot.

When you go to masterwork, on the bottom it tells you the button prompt(I believe it’s triangle), it’s not very intuitive but it’s there😂 it took me a while to notice it.

I’ve never had issue with prisms even before patch. I liked you had to use them wisely. What’s bs is how little of gems you get. 4 characters 90+ I can only make 3 maxed rubies

I got 925 gear at level 56 from world boss. So really when you start picking out endgame gear just depends on when you start to see 925. You can get to world tier 4 really low
Yes, the optimal tactic is to switch to WT4 at level 55, because that’s when you may equip ancestral items
You dont need to reset masterworked items. You can salvage them and get 80% of masterwork mats back
I only reset if I have perfect rolls and want the 25% boost on a certain stat at lvl to start off right. If not, that things is getting smashed

Salvaging destroys the item. Resetting allows you to try again to proc 25% stat boosts on it at the cost of gold and materials. The two actions are not interchangeable.
@little_fluffy_clouds but why would I ever waste my time trying to masterwork an item I'd be ok salvaging? The whole reason I'm masterworking it is because the item itself is extremely unlikely to roll and temper the way I wanted it.
@@mickpratt8327 You wouldn't, that's my point. I was replying to the OP who said one can salvage a masterworked item to get 80% of the masterworking materials back. My point was you wouldn't normally be salvaging any masterworked items (unless under exceptional circumstances, such as if you wanted to completely change your spec one say).
The iron and veiled sparks are so easy to get... i havent salvaged any gear since level 75 on my first character and i have more than ill need for multiple characters this season.

This might be in the video, I'm still watching. Let's say I'm capped on Armor and have Aspect of Disobedience on my pants. Does that overlap my armor, or is it effectively useless?
I love how i can do one of the new circle syphon events and never take any damage(health doesn't go down), but the sec that hellborne spawns i get 1 shot at random(not every hell borne does this mechanic)
For me it is the Blood Maiden. I have max resists, a ton of DR without Bone Storm, and the barrier aspect that goes with it.
Yet when fighting the Blood Maiden the past few days I will get randomly one shotted, and because there is so much chaos? I cannot for the life of me figure out what the hell is causing it.
Even when trying to use a shield with DR.
The weird part is that it wasn't happening till I hit 80. For a bit there I could basically not worry. Now I will just be fighting and boom - dead.
I've noticed those that you are talking about are much worse if someone else is around you. I kill them faster solo. They still hurt like hell.
DR seems like the name of the game this season. Whatever class can stack it wins, and I hear sorcerers are specifically struggling.
I remember when I first went to WT3 after playing for a few hours feeing invincible and then walking into a hellfire that was doing a ritual and just getting one shot like 5 times in a row lol had no idea how much damage some of the mechanics could do until then and the same thing happened going to wt4 it’s just so frustrating to play right now as I just moved and my ping is terrible like 650 ms so sometimes I’ll dodge a mechanic just to rubbernand back and then insta die

Biggest endgame mistake is wasting your amazing items by following a maxroll guide and tempering them wrong.
Maxroll give you good advice for a good solid endgame build, not for min Max and push high Pits.
They do a nice job with leveling builds, they break em down nice.

im a day 1 player and this season ive already maxed 2 barbs a druid a necro and a rogue all of them passed tier pit 100 ,this definately helped a lot of the new players too good job creative!

Wow I’m not gonna lie I had no idea you could temper multiple affixes on gear and weapons. I’ve only been tempering one affix and I only caught this while you were breezing through the tempering section.

Helltide maiden, the pit can drop a few greater affix items, nightmare dungeons is good mostly just for glyph xp and change of pace.
Always start to tear up when I see you guys running around with Harlequin Crest. I've played this game almost a year now and it still hasn't dropped for me... :(

You need 4 sparks and you can craft which ever Uber you want. It’s the potion lady

I'm struggling to hit 20K on sorcerer. I have no idea how I would ever get it up way past that.
Use the new unique boots called yens blessing. With fire shield always on cooldwon it should proc to always have uptime. Happy slaying in sanctuary!
Currently on 22k, prioritize ruby hunting on helltides, storyline, whispers and dungeons. Slap them on all your armour
I regret to say I solved this by rolling a barbarian. I now have 100K HP unbuffed and I do more damage than my sorc, which is sick. Sorcerer desperately needs survivability and damage buffs
New player here. What are the little yellow dots under the gear pieces? There appear to be 4 on each? The next question is how do I do whatever that is?
Its master working 😁 its an end game system which buffs every stat on an item by 5% each level and on certain levels it boosts 1 stat by 25%. You farm the pit for the mats to do it.

Maxed on damage reduction & life, but still getting one shot killed.
Barb is either the only good class or blizzard doesn't know wth they are doing. The fact Barb can get that much HP+ with fortify pair with damaged reduction and insane damage but other classes like sorceress boss damage is capped and can't keep up barriers or mana shield is ridiculous
How about a Barb build that dont hop around or spin in circles, or that i dont need 65 uber uniques to have that i wont get?? Thats what i want to see...
You ony get a few thousand life at best per each item and only so lany rubies so how do you get 100s of thousands of health? No matter which way you go sacrifices something

I wish xbox version had all these side menu info boxes and all this item info. Lol it's blowing my mind you can just see what the possible affixes are and all the comparative stat boxes.
You can pull it up on console, if you’re talking about rerolling gear you press a button and it shows you all the possible affixes it can roll on that item. But you’re right it’s sometimes hard to figure out, I just started a barb and didn’t realize you can set certain skills to be used by a specific weapon in the skill tree

@mrblitzer8705 as for setting weps to skills, its in the window where you assign skills to your bar, select over the skill in the upper part, scroll the tooltip down, and you can press x to toggle weps on the skill

Last night I was farming some seeds and a little rogue scared me, he couldn’t do damage to me but the surprise made me kill him, I felt sad afterwards.

@@tabecha1096 No, the point more is if you're 30 off why not just cap it. It would actually be more difficult to get barely undercapped like that than overcapped. I get minimal armor rolls on my gear and with masterworking I always end up at 10k-12k armor, which is probably a waste above cap, but who cares.
I watched your take on master working and upgrading gear and have to say I am waaaay more confused now than before watching this video. I just completely dont understand this system and already miss the older system since this breakdown not only gave me a head ache but more of a migraine just trying to understand this mess! I wish it was more simpler than this. All this video did for me is making me want to quit the game I love! :(

Every build is the same in D4😂 the skill tree is anemic.
I made a whirlwind dustdevil barb to farm items for bash barb because this build is so lame and boring. WW DD barb is the pure fun but not really good into bossing.

Max life stacks multiplicatively correct? So 4% and 2% and 2% doesnt equal 8% max life. Its actually more than that

Eternal ppl Note > For everyone in Eternal the set up is different. Im a fully min maxed Bash / steelgrasp Barb, and after obtainin new versions of all the ubers the set up is this. Shako, Selig amulet, LEGACY x4 MAX DR CLOSE / DISTANT / FORTIFIED / DMG RED CHEST! (which is better than my Tyraels might with greater on dmg red and triple critted on masterworkin), +8 bASH Pants with x3 GA Armor / BASH / ELEMENTAL RES and FULL DPS Weapons x2 Mace / sword /sword / 2h Sword everything with Greater STR / DMG / GREATER CRT DMG and tempered close / Bash cleaves with masterwrok crits on Bash cleaves. Rings and Paingrogers with x3 GA and ALL crits on the greater Attck speed and greater crt chance. Im only rockin 30k Health 10k armor and 134k attck power and im fast farmin 100pits in 2:50' and pushin 119 currently. Farmin everyday allday Tormented Duriel and havent died once in tha past week.

You need to better follow your own advice. Concussion is useless and you should be getting imposing presence on every temper possible, you can have as many as + 12/+15 in that passive making it a whoopig x72% max life😂
Yeah wish I could now reroll some pieces, but I have enough max life endgame that anything past 100k in my opinion is kinda overkill and not needed.

Ok so you watch ROb's video his barb has the same gear with 350k...your barb is like mine under 60k, following the same paragon i dont get it
He has masterworked imposing presence on every piece of gear that can roll it + doom bringer. Unless you are rolling perfect tempers on and Life GA on each piece of gear then you'll probably be around your life pool.
Make sure you temper “Imposing Presence” in your Helmet, Chest, Pants and Amulet👍 at base it will give you +8 ranks with max rolls and then you can hit the masterwork for more upgrades. Also make sure your Helmet, Chest, Pants and weapons all have +Max Life (preferably greater affix). And lastly pray to the gods for Ruby pieces to drop so you can craft the royal ones.
I’ve done 100 runs at least this season of duriel and I’ve gotten 1 Uber!!?
Tormented duriel has a higher chance for Ubers

Well i had 80k on my Barb and i got 1 shot by Uber Duriel, not right away but a little into the fight and then i could no longer survive, since then have gotten up to 100k Life with my Thorns Barb. Ill stick too it and improve it as i can. Im at 70 Pit Lvl im sure i can push higher but have not tried yet.
Watch out for the stacking debuffs in Uber boys flights. Certain attacks stack and of you get around 3+ stacks you die real fast. Shown as a red scull-like icon in status effects hotbar at bottom of screen. 👍

Cap your poison resist and don’t get hit by the splash damage which puts a debuff on you that makes you take exponentially more damage. I was able to kill Tormented Duriel with only 40K HP, but you have to cap your poison resist and be careful not to acquire stacks of his debuff

The enchanting system is still garbage. It takes long enough just to farm that perfect piece that only has one affix to reroll, especially when you're looking for greater affixes. Then to have that take millions of gold to reroll what you're missing. They need to do one of two things to fix this system.
Option 1: Let us pick the affix we want and let the value be random. Let the first roll be relatively cheap. Say, 500k. Subsequent rerolls get drastically more expensive. If you're lucky you get a high roll on the first try. If not, you can choose to gamble or go farm another piece.
Option 2: Cap the cost to reroll at like 500k. As you pointed out in this video, some items have a ridiculous number of possible affixes on a single slot. It's absurd.
I like your ideas. Tempering a great item, and bricking it is super frustrating, too.
I fully understand that rating ratio, the 5 biggest Diablo 4 Season x-xx endgame mistakes are:
1 Thinking about Diablo
2 Reinstalling Diablo
3 Playing Diablo
4 Thinking about reaching the Endgame
5 Doing it over and over again instead of leaving that abomination of a game from a EEE Quality company behind.
