I have fished the same lake for 20 years. In 20 years I never seen a can of corn sitting out there till one year I seen a guy fishing for catfish and he was using minnows and was upset he just couldn’t get bit. I told him to use some corn instead. A few weeks later there were empty cans of corn everywhere sitting out there. That’s when I learned to keep the fishing tips to myself.

I’m just wondering did you feel obligated to pick the cans up since you were his gateway to success in fishing but the demise of society 😂😂😂

@@dareanparrish4387 if it was just him it wouldn’t have been a big deal but he told all his buddy’s that fished that area too. I only gave him the tip because I typically am bass fishing but I’ll go after cats if the bass fishing is slow. Thankfully it has calmed down the last couple years. Lots of people quit coming out after Covid started.

Old school rod holders. Break off some y shaped branches and stick in ground. Or place your rod on a log. Place a small bungee strap or string ETC! Around it to keep a fish from dragging your rod in the water. I am sure you already know this. Love watching your videos. God bless.

you were talking about the colors of the long ear, I have hooked some trout, and some pan fish and look at them and the color on display and think, " what was God thinking when he created these amazing fish? " I mean you look at the color and how it's all on display, the patterns, and the way the colors merge..... it's simply amazing... good video! oh, for carp, you know in Great Brittan they fish for carp like we fish for bass here, my go to bait, is a large bag of corn, 3 tea spoons of vanilla extract, 3 spoons of sugar, mix well and leave in sun for a couple days.... it's amazing! got that years ago from a message board on carps from a guy in the UK./

Great video guys. Those carp are in perfect condition, really nice fish. The quillback was awesome. I’m English but have lived in the US for 27 years now It raises some eyebrows when I go fishing as I often use a 14m pole .Keith elastic in the top three sections I catch carp up 10-12 pounds not far from my house. I go to Vermont and fish for red horse with spikes and hemp seed in the winooski river. They are my favorite, I would like to catch a quillback though. But they don’t have them In Massachusetts. I fished at this reservoir in Vermont, I caught 2 yellow perch over two pounds and What I thought, I wasn’t sure at all, was a smallmouth bass that was at least 5lbs it was huge, and a beautiful fish. I showed a friend of mine a picture he said it wasn’t a smallmouth, it was an Oscar, somebody must have released it in the lake long ago.
I fish with worms, corn and bread no lures. I’ve even caught tilapia in the river Charles on bread One thing about the US is that you’ never know what you will catch using worms or corn or bread!

you should do giant carp fishing - the freshwater bonefish - this would give you big hits in uk - good variety - try the bigger farm ponds with big rubber worms or bigger bluegills - try a big snake lure - deadly massive strikes - they work well in summer - get an anchor on kayak, do some more floats and some saltwater if possible - finding great spots is a big part of the magic - try the new river?

It's illegal to fish with corn in all but one state Rhode Island. They can't digest corn. They bloat up and die

It might be illegal in some places but they dont bloat up and die that's a myth. If that where true then all the carp, tench and bream in the UK would die pretty fast 😅

Corn is not allowed to be used in newfoundland. Trout and others species cannot digest it. Kills fish
