I tried this exact model and colour today. I think they look weird but I was curious. The ergonomics and neck profile are incredible, it’s super light weight and sounds awesome. I took it home and haven’t put it down all day.
Thank you Euge for the great demo. That guitar does sound good, especially, with all those beautiful amp heads you use. Your studio is loaded with some of the best gear. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Cheers from Texas.
Looks and sounds great. My Strandberg is about five pounds the neck is like glass. Its very loud unplugged my wife can clearly hear me from like eight feet away. The richlite fretboard is good and it really holds tune. I really enjoy playing mine as i hope you do as well.
Nice presentation. Good delivery, pacing and honest approach. No hype BS. Subscribed. New to headless with Ibanez QX52 but saving for next year. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
Played a Strandberg Boden Bass few years ago. it was just an amazing experiance! it felt so natural and affordlessly, just unbelievable. Just felt like home. I'm also a more traditional guy, playing mainly Jazzbass type Instruments. but boy... if it wasn't that expensive, It would be mine...
Euge, Wow, what an incredible display of amazing tones-from clean to everything else and excellent playing. Great review. It's been 2 years, are you still playing it?
@@EugeValovirta230V coming from traditional les paul style guitars, did you find that the headless guitar shakes too much or feels unstable when you play it? I felt the lack of mass and was slightly overgripping the neck with my fretting hand.
@@allboutthemojo It's definitely not for everyone. I come from a Les Paul background as well. I love my Strandbergs, but when I do grab my LP it just feels like home.
@@drlove2112 thanks for the opinion. I was wondering if it was just me. I actually got a headless mainly because it's more convenient to travel with ( carry on flights for short vacations) and I was hoping to get comfortable enough with it to want to play it.
Like you and being older, I'm a traditionalist and never was drawn to the headless stuff and fanned frets scares me but man, this seems great. Like one of the guys commented I totally agree with the "clean" comment he made. It really rings out clean a bright even under heavy boogie settings and was something quite different sounding from you. The ECO route is fantastic too. I think this guitar is a real winner
This guitar looks strange but sounds amazing😍 , thank you for the great video as always 🙏 , can u make production videos one day in future, so guitar players can know how to turn amazing guitar melodies to full songs 😜.
Thanks! I think I cover it pretty much on this one: th-cam.com/video/dWgG8ALnjp4/w-d-xo.html But some people are just not songwrites, and some are by nature. IMO the only way to get better is just by doing it over and over again and being critical of your work. Good way is also to analyze the songs you like and why you like them and go from there writing your own stuff 😎. Not stealing but gently borrowing 😊.
I think you mixed up those pickup positions :) Position 1 is neck, position 5 is bridge, according to their website. So position 2 being the outer coil of the neck humbucker makes more sense when you think of it in that order ^^
The pickup config wasn't correct, but still very well presented and great content. From the bridge to the neck as presented it's 1: Bridge HB, 2: Both Inner Coils, 3: Both Outer Coils, 4: Neck Outer Coil, 5: Neck HB.
Excellent demo. I picked one up a few days ago, and love it. So now that you've had it for a little while, what is your overall impression?? Also, anyone that plays Al DiMeola is good in my book
There a cool guitar. I would love to play one, but wouldn't like the lower bout cut on the body they did there as I play with my guitar classical style between my legs tilted on my left knee. It doesn't look comfortable for me that way and almost like you need to support it. Either way if I get the chance, I'll try one. It could be great. Nice playing as always Euge.
It looks strange seeing you playing that guitar! It doesn't fit your personality! You are too "old-school" for that guitar! Hehehe! Did you see where Jordan Rudess is studying the guitar now? And... he is playing one of these! He likes these things. Go figure.

Thanks man! Glad to hear!
Number 1. That guitar is the exact color of my eyes. No joke.
Number 2. That song was freakin sick.
Number 3. Appreciate you my brother.
Thanks man!
That’s pretty cool 😎👌.

Thanks! I borrowed it from a local music shop to do this video and played it for one day 🤟😎.
I have 2 Strandberg Standards. A seven string and a 6 string hss with a trem. I love them dearly and they are my go to guitars. Great video.
Thanks!

I was surprisingly comfortable with it 👌😎.

Yeah it looks quite funny but it was really easy to play and sounded good too 👌.
Wasn’t long ago I played on one of those. They do play great. Thanks for the superb playing and great tones.
Thanks Daniel!
Nice, didn't see this one coming! The guitar sounds really clean and super responsive 👌🤩🤘

Loved that solo! It was fire my friend! Cool guitar that sounded great in the mix for sure! Have a great rest of the week 🤘🤘

Great demo and amazing song!! 🤘🏼
Thanks!
looks so small but comfy

@@EugeValovirta230V Haha ok fair enough! I'm pretty happy with it pretty much for all the same reasons you listed. Crazy good playing sir!
The guitar is very nice and it has a very nice sound :)

Pretty guitar! Riff sounds a bit like Dime influenced. Cool demo and omg tone!
Thanks!

Mate, that cut there on the lower part of the body is precisely there so you CAN play it classical style and don't need to support it.
Today Pepita has a friend: it looks like a chocolate Easter bunny :) they're enjoying your excellent music together :)
He has and it is indeed 😊.
Yes, a gold rabbit!
That song was amazing! Could be arch enemy's next hit.
Thanks! Or Cyhra’s 😎.
these fanfrets always make me question if im too drunk or its the actual frets
😁🤟
What a beautiful babe…❤
🤟😎
Sorry but this guitar looks like a porkchop.
Sounds good though.
