In a start-up business setting, you must hands on in all aspect of the business so that if the business will expand, it is very easily for you to determine the people's integrity when it comes on financial side of the business.

If you are a small seller, you are not earning 3M per year, and a member of a Cooperative, you may not apply for business license, etc. You are still considered a legit seller.

I'm a 17 year-old student and I want to start my own online business, it's more like a "pasabuy" business since I'd be purchasing things from business abroad then sell it here in the Philippines.. so basically I'd be purchasing the product beforehand so they won't need to wait for the arrival then I'd just add some decent amount and deliver it to them. Do I still need to register my business to BIR/DTI even though it is just a "pasabuy" business and I won't be having a physical store or whatsoever? I registered my business last july and submitted the second quarter ITR using the online BIR application. I just felt sad that I had a due tax to be paid because I belong to the mixed income earner category. Akala ko po walang babayaran.

Hi, if you think or if you have plans on making your business long term better to register it. Once you register it to dti, you will be given a cerain time to register it to bir, or else may extra penalty. But better check on their website na din po. And yes may babayaran po na maliit lang naman.

Yup online bus. Din. Kumuha ako ng dti nung april via online. Tapos itong sept ako nag apply sa bir. Bale bnyaran ko sa bir na compromise umabot ng 2k plus 500 basic tax surcharge 125 and interest 18. Total of 2,643. Wala pa jan ang receipt mo sa accredited printer ni bir nasa 250-350 per booklet pag kaunti lng papagawa mo. Pag 50 booklets makakadiscount ka (sakin 90pesos/booklet min of 50booklets) good for 5 years naman ang recibo. Ska mababawi mo nman un. May napanood ako na vlog meron daw pag naswertehan mo sa bir na "temporary receipts" ask ka nlng sa bir upon applying. Mura lng nasa 30-35 pesos per booklet. Yan ay kung meron sila hehe. Better ask. 🙂 Good luck on your business. Anyway mas maganda na ung legit ang negosyo mapa online mam. 🙏🙏

Hello! I started an online shop and selling po. I don't really have a lot of orders yet. I have ig/fb/shopee po as my pages. May i ask po if i need dti and bir parin po or dti lang po? what if po i made my own "brand name" under my shop name pero i didn't register to any of those pO? if i do register to dti may babayaran po ba talaga ako every year? kahit wala akong sales?
Hi, if you think or if you have plans on making your business long term better to register it. Once you register it to dti, you will be given a cerain time to register it to bir, or else may extra penalty. But better check on their website na din po. And yes may babayaran po na maliit lang naman.

Katulad ng gusto ko name for my DTI na Beauty and Health Product Shop, tapos mas madali kasi registration sa BIR pagonline shop sabi ng mga vlogger na MSME's Ok lang daw, kahit Baranggay Cert. pati DTI Certificate daw po muna.
@@Noir7772 ang DTI ay pag register lang ng name ng shop mo, hindi pa yan ang mismong permit to do business. Kung gusto mo talaga ma legalize you to register it at BIR po.

Yup online bus. Din. Kumuha ako ng dti nung april via online. Tapos itong sept ako nag apply sa bir. Bale bnyaran ko sa bir na compromise umabot ng 2k plus 500 basic tax surcharge 125 and interest 18. Total of 2,643. Wala pa jan ang receipt mo sa accredited printer ni bir nasa 250-350 per booklet pag kaunti lng papagawa mo. Pag 50 booklets makakadiscount ka (sakin 90pesos/booklet min of 50booklets) good for 5 years naman ang recibo. Ska mababawi mo nman un. May napanood ako na vlog meron daw pag naswertehan mo sa bir na "temporary receipts" ask ka nlng sa bir upon applying. Mura lng nasa 30-35 pesos per booklet. Yan ay kung meron sila hehe. Better ask. 🙂 Good luck on your business. Anyway mas maganda na ung legit ang negosyo mapa online mam. 🙏🙏
