9.5 to 10 inch bars is an insane difference. And now that I've gone up to 10 I can't see me ever going back down. Took a minute to get used to but feels so amazing. And bars are not as hard as I thought they'd be with them. Actually prefer them with 10s
Bottom bracket how I do it on my old bikes, might work differently on these new fancy bikes. I've got a threaded rod, probably 3/4 inch diameter and two washers about the size of my bearing cups. In order left side: the bearing cup, the washer, and start threading on a nut. Push it all the way through your bottom bracket tube. Put on the other cup, the other washer, and start threading the nut on that side. Side note you have your cups just barely held in there, cause you start em by hand when you put em on the rod. Grease between the bearing cups and the tube. Grab your favorite wrenches: turn on 1 side and hold the other side. Now turn on the other side and hold the side you put on 1st. Those bearing cups will shove right into place. Now that threaded rod will come off, and you can do the neck same way. There is some thin arts and crafts type, felt material you can at Micheals. I cut a couple dough-nuts out of it and put on each side up against the bearing. It keeps dirt out of those ball bearing cages. 3rd on my one peice Schwinn cranks that big "S" shape crank with the front chainring already attached to it ( it has to be done that way) can be a real bear to get into place without scratching the paint. Wrap it around the teeth a couple layer's with masking tape. It will still go on just fine, but it dulls the sharpness of those teeth, and you can touch your frame( even though you try not to) without making a big gouge. On my 1940s and 1950s Schwinn's a delicate hand, and plenty of patience is worth its weight in gold.
With the shorter back end on the Rose frame the slightly lower bars may be absolutely perfect.. Not hating the coaster build but this new one is the one I'd choose.. I think it looks ✨D.O.P.E✨ dude.
Someone I was riding at a jam with had the Subrosa Rose Frame in Trans Green Fade but he bent the back end and the back wheel wouldn’t sit in the back of the frame inline with the front wheel. And I would used grease to put the cranks on to stop them creeking and easyer to get the arms off if you got to swap out a bottom bracket I like the black one better though but both look 🔥 👍🚲💨
BIG DOG..just tying to help don't take it the wrong way. When you say "you guy-es" it's improper english. Guys is already pluralized (more than one person). Allot of youtubers do this. Like their teachers never taught them proper grammer. When people say "guy-es", it makes them sound bad. Hope you take this advise brother. I'm a CANUKLE head too (from Canada).
Haven’t watched in 4 months. Was tired of “brand” videos. He doesn’t make CONTENT. Just makes videos for the check. Ever since he had to sell the land it’s all filling his gas tank. Haven’t watched but I got bets it’s him building the bike for 70% and hearing brand names like Subrosa 10x then maybe a different bar size with some sort of chain.
It's always a great day in history when you got yourself a main bike and also a homies bike!! Keep pushing it big boy!!!

Bikes are sick! Shadow needs to revamp their coaster. I have it, and it heavy asf.
