You forgot to mention what ever welder you get make sure you have a regulator or flow meter and a way to hook it up. Some welders online wont come with one and that is an important piece. You may need to add barbed connectors to the cart or quick connects but simplest is get a regulator that comes with attachments to do both like Prime Welds then you may just need to get the gas line and your in business. Thank you love what you do for the community!

I think the primeweld machine most people use would be the 225x. It's a very highly praised machine for beginner and experienced welders.
I've actually been hoping to see it on your channel one day to see how you like it since I've never actually seen anything bad said about the product so far.

That is awesome to see you give a demo of putting together a welding setup for studio. I have a welding studio that I purchased primeweld Tig 225x with Maxcool 3000 watercooler w/ flex-loc torch this setup at the time was under $1500 my portable work table $75 . I've been at it for 3 yrs now never had a bad time Tig welding. You and Justin are both full of knowledge can't forget about Jody the three of you guys who I've watched to teach myself how to Tig weld even my wife was blown away seeing unicorn farts !!!!!!!😮😮😮 She loves the colors that I can throw down all and all it took me 5 1/2 months to get comfortable with Tig welding. Picked it up qnd never looked back love it every time I strike a arc.. 👨‍🏭👩‍🏭🧑‍🏭 ha ha ha LoL look what they have for welding torch.......😮😮😮😮😮😮

I heard of TIG welding but knew nothing about it till I get a demo arc captain inverter TIG off Amazon for like $100. I messed with it but could not make anything decent so then took TIG class at the college I work at. Hoping to get AWS level one for TIG, not sure if i'll bother with the others though. Got flux core and stick too at home but for my needs i can do fine with as is.

I bought that Yeswelder helmet. For some reason when I started tig welding it wouldn't dim enough and of course was very bright. Luckily I didn't hurt myself, but I had to buy a helmet from Harbor Freight.

Even with the shade setting turned up? I haven't really been encountering much negative feedback about that helmet, so it's surprising it didn't work for you. If you've got your settings right and it's still not doing the job, try reaching out to the seller, maybe they'll sort you.

I have had exactly the same issue on TIG only using my Yeswelder helmet. I bought the Titanium in a hurry to finish a TIG project and it works much better and hasn't flashed me yet. The head gear broke in 4 days of welding though. The Vulcan helmet seems to be the best of the sub $120 helmets for TIG that I have tried.

If you want good things on a budget, I can vouch for Eastwood. They make amazing car parts, and their 200 amp ac/dc welder is just as good. I also own their helmet (L6700) and it is literally more clear than a miller digital elite 2.0 for $70. all in all, you could get both of those for around $770 (US), and save a bit compared to what dusty grabbed in the video. Also gloves. Harbor freight vulkan TIG gloves, they are super thin and super dexterous, they retain the most dexterity out of every glove ive used in 2 years of TIG welding.

Something I've been mulling over, and might be topic worth covering. Is it better to put the machine under the table and run a longer hose to the tank, or is it better to keep the table clean and put the machine and bottle on a cart. I'm currently running through this debate right now.
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing for a welding table since the stuff I have an immediate need of welding is all very small. i WANT a portable fab table, however the projects I'm welding all fit on a piece of A4 legal paper (9"x14") so I'm really tempted to just make a small welding "stand" to use it on top of my existing benches. Significantly cheaper, and smaller footprint for my multi use (woodworking mostly, mechanic work, metal machining, etc.) garage workshop to include household storage. I cram a lot into a 2car garage. I really need a separate shop....maybe the next house.

I’m not a terrible welder. I can actually make some nice passes and made some stout parts with both aluminum and stainless steel. But I can’t do anything , not even make a bead with 1/8 aluminum filler. Why do you choose that to begin with? Not judging At all I’d actually like to be able to use it.

Not to be a Debbie "downer".... the price in CDN $$ would be about double. Thanks for all the freaking taxes, Canada.
Two keys things that the beginner might consider:
    - electrical power. 120v or 240v ? and the AMPs you need. For me, I needed 240v / 40 AMPs. You will have limitations with 120v but that might be ok for some, and not for others. Do your research. If you plan to roll your welder around, you may need an extension cord. And no, not your typical cord. I made my own from 8 AWG. Do not skimp.
    - do not overlook the argon tank & re-fill costs. Where you reside might determine what's available. Around here, leasing is my only option for a decent sized bottle. Cost wise, bigger is better. Small bottles are nice but you'll pay dearly for refills. Do your research.

After buying a cheap helmet which didn't work (Flashed all the $@#&* time) I did some investigation before spending any more money. Yeswelder helmets looked good, but the manufacturer admitted that they too will probably flash when being used while tig welding. Take my advice, scrimp on everything else but buy the best helmet you can afford. You've only got 2 eyes and they have to last you your whole life.
