I been saying Gentaro looks like Momotaro but he has some of his grandpa’s look’s toooooo Biju. I watch a video of Biju and did the double screen between Gentaro and Biju and you can tell they are related. And grandpa was a handsome silverback as well I can see why Genki got very excited when she seen videos of Momotaro.. I love the Momotaro troop they are number one in my book 📕! ❤❤❤❤

Momotaro face and is very similar in build to his father Biju. I wonder what he would have become if he had grown up in a full family of gorillas with his father.
Have you seen pictures of Biju's father, Bitam? In my opinion, the older Momo becomes, the more he looks like his grandfather. Bitam lived at Howlett's Zoo Park in the UK and died in 2006. If you are interested in seeing him, it is possible to google Gorilla Bitam, ZooChat and a photo from an old Howlett's Zoo Park should appear.

Recall the video of the diaper wearing toothless baby Gentaro with his sparkling eyes . It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. Having the privilege to see his transformation; many things have changed but the eyes remain the same. ❤
Gentaro has grown into a healthy and handsome gorilla, but Genki must have been traumatized when he was pulled away from her as a baby. That she was only allowed to see him daily through the bars must have kept that wound fresh. She had the same problem of having too little milk with Kintaro, but the zoo keepers overcame it with special supplements and extra food, I understand. It's too bad they didn't do that with Gentaro. They could have returned him sooner than the ten long months he was separated from Genki. No wonder she clung onto Kintaro for so long!😢

Gentaro are looking more alike, Gentaro has dark hair like dad,dad use to have just a silver back too, but the older he gets,white is spreading to other parts of his body, they are both gorgeous, Gentaros face around his nose and mouth is growing out like dad and he is going to be big like dad,I don't know if he will catch up as big as dad, but he is big,he has dads face, but his face looks kinder,same shaped head, and I noticed most male gorillas, have hair on their chest,which covers their chest muscles,no hair on the chest looks better.

They look more like there mother. She looks mixed more lowland gorilla than mountain. Gentaros knuckles look really dry. He needs some aloe lotion 😄

It's printed on the video. Genki did not produce enough milk. He wasn't thriving.
Unfortunately Genki didn’t produce much milk and Gentaro was separated from her. Otherwise he would have died.

Gentaro stopped moving after his first few days. Genki really wanted to raise him from the scratch, though. After ten months, she retrieved him.
Gentaro looks more like his mama Genki. Dad Momotaro is a real macho guy with a pretty face, and Kintaro got it from Dad.
He does in fact look like Genki and Momotaro. I see both of them in him clearly.

It's a natural progression as Gentaro becomes more mature. He is a potential challenger for Momotaro’s power, and Momo knows this.
