I Love these, I have been waiting for something like this for over 10 years! I am an electronics engineer working in the EV sector on the battery technology and had enough of waiting myself so ive started to design a pair based on skateboard electronics myself! got some nice hub wheels, 3D printing some mock up frame ideas and getting the VESC controller and working on the battery pack :D I would be very excited to see where you go with these! I was so excited when Thudrblade went to kickstarter but unfortunately they have disappeared for the last two years!
Hi, Rashid. I'm also ordered VESC with gyroscope chip. I want to controll acceleration with gyroscope like hoverboards. Currently battery in the backpack, because it's too big and heavy.
@@nurzhan051184 wow never thought if that, will be first time I used a vesc so went went a flimsy 4.20 dual. I'm gonna try out two 500W motors in the back wheels. Dimensions are 65mm by 105mm with 4mm contact points. I'm issue is that the motors are 48V 500W each and can peak at 3000W which is way too much for inly skates 😅 but ots what I found that can fit. My battery pack is gonna go in my back too. Just out of interest what's your motor voltage and max controls current for each one? Is is 100W each at 24? I'll don't see why we can't design a small pack to fit in between the wheels. Limits the range but would be amazing to have them all in one package 😍
@@rashidmustafa3818 my battery pack is 36V 5A/h. I bought motors from China, Aliexpress. Seller said that motors can work at 150W each. But they heats up very quickly at high current, so I think that they are not 150W. Anyway it's very scary to run at very high speed ))) Also I'm planning to build my own PCB design of VESC, so that it will fit inside. But firstly I want to play with gyroscope.
@@nurzhan051184 well using 21700 cells i can get you a 36V 5Ah pack in about 80cm x 50cm x 125cm approximately but then you will need one per skate or could use the 18650 cells with smaller capacity and smaller footprint alternatively what about 2 5S lipo batteries. i currently have that kind of space between my wheels. Man great idea for the custom PCB for the VESC!! where are you based? i would love to collaborate on this if you are interested, dont know you to private message you. These would be awesome. Of all the electric things out there, ESkates would be the best for me. These are a brilliant idea. Especially if you can get regen/electronic braking to be a thing. It'd be easy to carry a 24 or 36v battery backpack for a 15~18mph skate setup.
How did you manufacture the custom wheels? I'm thinking of trying a similar concept but there aren't any rollerblade wheels with a non-circular inner shape for the wheel to allow for motor drive

В 2019г сделали со знакомым электропривод к обычным роликам (ниже ссылка на видео), сами ролики без переделки, моторная приставка на одну ногу как штатный тормоз крепится. И это не в чистом виде электроролики а гибрид, хочешь без мотора как обычно ехать или опускаешь моторное колесо. Такая конструкция проще, универсальней и дешевле, всего один модельный мотор любого размера и мощности нужен а не 4-ре дорогих мотор колеса. Выжимает 1300-1600Вт и 43км/ч по ровному + запас хода 30-40км на аккумуляторе 2кг. Но есть минусы, стойка однобокая, с мотором быстро устаешь "сидеть" на одной ноге. В твоем варианте конечно удобней и проходимость лучше, не будет пробуксовок, быстрого стирания приводного колеса и в гору проще. 4-ре контроллера нужно для мотор колес? Удачи в постройке и доработке. @@nurzhan051184 Именно из-за проводов, поясной сумки с аккумуляторами, подключения разьемов, включения радиопульта покатался 2 года и забросил, переключился на электровелики, долго и лень надевать, подключать и крепить провод к ноге или протягивать в штанах:) Мой знакомый, который придумал этот вариант, тоже так хотел, купил мелкий легкий мотор, хотел аккумулятор в ботинок встроить и избавится от проводов и сумок, но мотор 800Вт китайских еле тянул, надо делить на 3 заявленную мощность, они пишут пиковую в Вт при идеальных условиях охлаждения. Гироскоп газ не советую, ботинок случайно наклонишь или шагнешь на бордюр - понесет внезапно, много падения будет. Лучше использовать беспроводной пульт от электробордов или подешевле от автомодели пульт "мини" как у меня с курком газ/тормоз, с ним будешь всегда контролировать когда газ и сколько и когда тормоз. На ютубе один из Бразилии (это не точно) делал подобные ролики с аккумуляторами в рамах на двух ботинках, но проблема что много аккумуляторов в раму не поместятся.
Im thinking adapt a police utility belt for more smaller batterys and better weight distribution, foot pad presure sensores( like they use in crash test dummies) for body weight speed control, with wii like motion sensors in gloves for balance control. And a cellphone sized device for the operating system with adaptive learning to improve control over time. All over a bluetooth type signal for communication to limit wires to only power the motors. Maby even use small flexable buttons on the index fingers pressed with the thumb to control speed or set to neutral for free riding. If the tech aspect is a no go.

You need physical/mecanical/hydrolic brakes of some kind, its a good start but you need failsafe. Good work

Gypsum moldings and polyurethane glue for automobile windows. It become a bit softer than a rubber when it dries.

Интересная реализация). В своем варианте хочу избавиться от проводов. Поместить все в корпус и сделать управление гироскопом.

@@rocknroliki гироскоп будет включаться только когда жмешь радиопульт, плюс разные лимиты по углам наклона. Все на VESC настрою. Задумка на будущее.

Yes, it can be used without power. But it's hard to turn with only 2 wheels. Normal skates uses third wheel in the middle for turning.
