Music213, thank you for posting this. I was there. The music played by these Angolan musicians was not only melodious but played with sheer joy. I had a big smile on my face just listening to it live, and loved hearing it again.

Beautiful as it is, I don't understand how the Salvation Army, as a global entity, has so many different varieties of uniforms from country to country. I thought the idea of the uniform was to band us together under one flag, under one mission and one message. I'm all for diversity, but it seems we have become rather loose in our understanding of uniformity.
It's just a local outfit they wore here for the occasion. They do have do have salvationist uniforms like the one you certainly have or know. The only difference is the color. They have white ones due to hot temperatures in Africa nearly all the year.
@@JorijnVanHese to those who don't understand uniformity I can see how you don't see the point. A lot of people don't. For me, I signed a covenant that represents a global mission and creed. Too many enter that covenant with no intention of keeping it.
@@jresker I think i can help you. first of all in the video they are wearing their uniform but on top it's just their Salvation army traditional outfit.... i do get your point where you mentioned that you did sign a convenant ..... yes they do have the normal uniform, yes they do have the normal uniform however in Africa that's what we do we praise the lord in many.... some go wearing church t-shirts especially when it comes to concerts and there's nothing wrong going like.....
I love this band so much. They make me smile and dance every time I listen to them.
