Really sorry about the scores being off timed today, when I put in the ad spot something apparently got off on the timeline in Premiere and I didn't notice before exporting.
I literally just bought a half gallon of Evan Williams bottled bond today and I was thinking this exact question if only y’all uploaded this a day earlier😭🤣🤣🤣
Wild Turkey 101 is probably my favorite out of all of those. I really like Early Times and coke. It's better than you would imagine, and it's a common well bourbon around here. Here's a thing: I found that IMO, Dr Pepper and Bullit rye was damn nice.
Old #7 is 43% ABV, so unless your Jack and Coke is mostly whiskey with a splash of coke(which it might be), your math ain't mathin. A classic J&C is 1 part JD/2 parts coke over ice, so probably about 12% ABV. At a bar 1 part JD/3 parts coke at best, so more like 9% ABV. At 50/50 it's about 20% ABV. I like my J&C 1 part JDSBBP, 0 parts coke, hold the ice. 😁
Before i even watch this, i am a rye and ginger guy, and out of all my bourbon's WT101 is one i just recently tried as a mixer, and was amazing, so i am going to say it wins:)
Thank you. I always start my college football day with a Jack and Coke, but the last two Saturdays, it is 4 Roses and Coke. Perfect for warming up from the morning hunt and starting football. Thanks fellas😊
I agree 4 roses is hard to beat as a mix, especially for price point. I think for a smoother sweeter profile that holds up, jack daniels bonded (100pf) is incredible in almost any sweeter cocktail. jackd bonded + egg nog...youre welcome
I bought an into the am sweatshirt recently and it actually fits more like it’s tailored for me than most of the others I’ve had. Usually they’re extra baggy in odd places. It’s long and baggy enough to be lazy day comfortable without being too big to be stylish. I’m actually intrigued to try more product to see if that carries across their line.
How about Whiskey and ginger? I think Jim and Vernors Is a just fine standard, Makers is probably my favorite for the dring, and a splash of whatever ginger soda goes nice in just about any "daily" bottle.
1st time legaly drinking at bars at 21yrs old, late 80s. I started with David Nicholson’s 1843 and Coke, for a few reasons. 1. I live in the STL metro area, 2. it was/is good cheap 100 proof bourbon (more bang for the buck), and 3. 1843 is the beginning of the firing order of my 69 GTO that I had, ha ha.. Then a friend had me try WT and coke, and I have never looked back. I became Turkey lover ever since, even started collecting different full Turkey bottles in the late 90s to stock my future home bar with. To this day I have these unopened bottles including 12yr CGF. I only drink T&C when I mix, so not surprised it is #2 here.. The beer doesn't count..
Great review. Now you must do one with Sprite and include Elmer T. Lee since that's the way he drank it. And give Maker's another shot because Maker's and Sprite is excellent!!
Makes sense. I make lemonade for my granddaughter and make bourbon/lemonade/mint later that night. OF 100 is the only bourbon that tastes 'right' in it.
I was hard into the jim beam double oak and coke for a long time. Wanted to stop drinking pop, but still have some coke in the fridge for when a bottle i buy doesn't taste good neat or on the rocks. Found out that Bowman Bros. small batch tasted fantastic with coke IMO.
St. Elmo Steakhouse in Indianapolis, IN has a cocktail called the "Elmo Cola". They even created their own bourbon for the cocktail. It's called St. Elmo Cherry Vanilla Biurbon. The recipe for Elmo Cola is on the bottle. You guys should totally review it. I'd be willing to supply you with a bottle. If you tell me the best way to make that happen. Cheers!
I tried standard makers for the first time in a while recently and i was shocked how young it tasted. The developed bready cherry note was gone and it just tasted like chewing on grain. Either the blending got worse, the whiskey got younger or both. Havent had it in coke though, mostly because i dont like coke.
I had this convo recently. I'm a huge Coca-Cola fan. So I like good whiskey with my Cola. So...if it taste like 💩💩 neat...not going to taste good with. Putting sprinkles on 💩 doesn't make it a donut.
The proper cocktail is The Bourbon Junkie & Coke Ultra Zero. That’s where you pour good bourbon into a rocks glass, don’t add any soda at all & instead just wave the can of soda over the glass a couple times for dramatic effect, enjoy 🥃
Really sorry about the scores being off timed today, when I put in the ad spot something apparently got off on the timeline in Premiere and I didn't notice before exporting.
@@BourbonJunkies I thought it was awesome!! No need to apologize!!!
I like it. Not an every time thing, but it's nice for this video
Pretty sure you get a certain amount of leeway when you’re a “we’re drinking a lot of whiskey for you guys here okay?” TH-cam Channel, cheers
lol, was about to ask
LOL! I was so confused until I read your comment. Great video
I love the random Glen rankings, keeps me on my toes
As someone who’s just starting out, I’m really glad Wild Turkey 101 and Four Roses did well. That’s basically all I have 😂
The answer is knob creek 9 year. Call it “coke on my knob”
Came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned this. Best I’ve found by far
😳🤣
Touché sir, touché
A coke junkies channel would be some A+ content
This deserves top comment
Best bourbon and coke I’ve ever had was benchmark bonded. Sooo good.
I literally just bought a half gallon of Evan Williams bottled bond today and I was thinking this exact question if only y’all uploaded this a day earlier😭🤣🤣🤣
I like EWBiB and Coke, but mostly agree - WT101 and Four Roses and Coke are hard to beat.

OGD 114 has been a wonderful go-to for whiskey-colas
The random whiskey glasses with the number that wasn’t right was hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
You gotta love the high score for a pre-mixed beverage that's 5% ABV competing against whiskey & cokes that are roughly 30% ABV.
Old #7 is 43% ABV, so unless your Jack and Coke is mostly whiskey with a splash of coke(which it might be), your math ain't mathin. Now we need a whiskey sprite video, for all the non-coke drinkers.
Before i even watch this, i am a rye and ginger guy, and out of all my bourbon's WT101 is one i just recently tried as a mixer, and was amazing, so i am going to say it wins:)
wt101 rye is my go to mixer and sipper over ice
Cool I like Rye and Ginger Ale too!
JD Bonded makes the best jack and coke for me!
You guys should've got the real Jack & Coke RTD in the can, little stronger and uses Jack
Thank you. I always start my college football day with a Jack and Coke, but the last two Saturdays, it is 4 Roses and Coke. Perfect for warming up from the morning hunt and starting football. Thanks fellas😊
Hmm interesting score glens and timing

A couple weekends ago I was drinking eagle rare and coke and it was god damn amazing
Wt101 + Cola + a little bit peated Scotch like Talisker. Wonderfull
You guys missed my go to which is Woodford and Coke. The vanilla notes of the Woodford really makes for an excellent whiskey / coke.
My favorite was Coke Zero Orange Vanilla and Jack Devils Cut. Decent sub is Coke Zero Vanilla with Devils cut.
The only answer is Eagle Rare and Mexican Coke!
Not sure about the ER10 but Mexican Coke is peak!!!
Sean looking fly with the cut
Honestly makers mark cask strength and coke is the best my group of friends have had
I really enjoy having a Buffalo Trace with Coke and Coke Zero. Gonna have to try the cheap 4 Roses.
Old No7 or EW black label. Whiskey and coke has been my drink of choice for a long time. It's gotta be the charcoal filtering.
This video gave me the idea to try the JD12 and coke. It's surprisingly fantastic
Should’ve included the new Jack RTD cans. Real Jack. Real Coke.
I'm not a Coke drinker... so my favorite cola mixer is Maker's 46 and Pibb 🤤
How about Whiskey and ginger? I think Jim and Vernors Is a just fine standard, Makers is probably my favorite for the dring, and a splash of whatever ginger soda goes nice in just about any "daily" bottle.
I hear a whiskey and ginger is called an Ostrich… allegedly
the commentary was so colorful, so much fun
JB 7 is currently my favorite coke mixer followed by Benchmark single barrel.

Four Roses is one of the all around best bourbons for mixing and cocktails.
blackberry smash with lime juice is a staple for us in the summertime
For me…my whiskey and coke bottle is Jack Bonded and Blue Note Crossroads
Will be having a 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 + coke tonight. Thanks guys, cheers 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video! I need to hang and have a drink with you guys some day. So funny.
Weller green label is my favorite to mix with Coke
Makes sense. I make lemonade for my granddaughter and make bourbon/lemonade/mint later that night. OF 100 is the only bourbon that tastes 'right' in it.
You need to do this with Vernors! Not ginger ale....Vernors! Being in Michigan....I know you understand!
I drink my Bourbon, Double Neat.......never mixed with anything else. Save an Smokey Old Fashioned in the Winter.
JDSBBP is surprisingly good with Coke
I wasn’t going to watch this because I don’t drink bourbon and cokes, but dam this was a fun watch!
TX Whiskey and Coke is where it is at!
I was hard into the jim beam double oak and coke for a long time. Wanted to stop drinking pop, but still have some coke in the fridge for when a bottle i buy doesn't taste good neat or on the rocks. Found out that Bowman Bros. small batch tasted fantastic with coke IMO.
More of these types of videos. Nice little change up! Keep up the good work fellas!
Wild turkey barrel proof rye and coke
Maker's is horrible with coke, but mix it with Ginger ale and it is fantastic.

I'd go with JD BiB or JB Black 7.
Michters Rye with Coke Zero Oreo. This is the way
Jack got middle scores and ranked middle too. The standard is golden
Ancient Age & Coke is a solid drink!
Hard to believe the standard Four Roses beat out hitters like WT101 and Buffalo Trace
Y’all rocking Aged & Ore glasses? Nice!!
Sean has it right, our love for cats is our common ground 😸

I usually don't love Four Roses bottles EXCEPT their basic bottom-shelf I actually think is amazing. Dunno how that happens.
Pappy 23 & coke
Loved this video!
2:1 coke to whiskey with a lot of ice is the correct mixture.
Does anyone else drink Stagg and Sprite!? So Fn Good.
Now I know that it will be like if I have a stroke while watching one of your videos. Knowing is half the battle. Thank you.
Evan and coke is my go to
I want to see the same video using expensive whiskey as a mixer with coke. Pappy 23. Weller millennium. Old Fitz 13. Michters celebration. Etc
Weller special reserve and coke is the best and it's not even close
Sprite and whiskey is the way to go.
HEY GUYS!!! can you guys review the new Oak and Eden Rum bottle?
Jim Beam Devil’s Cut is amazing with coke.
The correct answer is knob creek 9. Your welcome
I literally spit out some water on the "eats ass" comment. 🤣
Why no ryes though? Should def throw a few in next time
Which whiskey goes best with ginger beer
Next vid which whiskey makes the best highball? (Whiskey and ginger ale)
With Dans comments I think he finished every one of these pours! 😂🤣😂🤣
Some Buffalo Trace and coke is smooth and strong 😊
It's interesting how whiskeys that are great on their own are usually not good mixed with Coke. Stuff you normally wouldn't drink tastes good in Coke.
JD 10yr and Coke is the best combo
Which goes best with Ginger Ale?
FYI, my favorite Ginger Ale is Seagrams. Not too sweet and just the right amount of ginger flavor to enjoy the bourbon flavor.
@@djbeacon6895 it is and always will be Canada Dry
Crown royal
Candian club
Jim Beam white label
NGL, I am fine with Jim Beam in a coke. I even put Jim Beam in my chili, steak marinade, and pasta sauce.
What about eh taylor and cola? Might really trigger the tarters
Sean is my favorite Denis Leary bourbon drinking doppelganger.
Dan: "Tastes like ass"
24 glen pops up 😂😂😂😂
Lol. I use EW BiB and it's great. Better than Jack IMO. Too much banana popping through the cola with Jack.
You have to try JD triple mash and coke AMAZING
Michter's Sour Mash and Coke
Cookie joining the read… veteran move!!
Fun video 🎉
I had this convo recently. I'm a huge Coca-Cola fan. So I like good whiskey with my Cola. So...if it taste like 💩💩 neat...not going to taste good with. Putting sprinkles on 💩 doesn't make it a donut.
Jack and coke legendary
That was fun.
wt101 all day
Not a bourbon. But Jameson Cold Brew makes the best whiskey and coke I've had.
Dan said he didn't swallow it, not what Sean said 😂😂
Not sure what's better, "this tastes like dirt" or Dan emphasizing the JACK in jack and coke...
The proper cocktail is The Bourbon Junkie & Coke Ultra Zero. That’s where you pour good bourbon into a rocks glass, don’t add any soda at all & instead just wave the can of soda over the glass a couple times for dramatic effect, enjoy 🥃
