I've always found that when they're fizzing like that and you're not getting a touch then it can be a good idea to switch too the smallest bait you can and a light hook (like a korda mixa or something), they're not necessarily looking for bait but they will accidentally suck up a 6-8mm pellet much more readily than a bigger boilie. If its silty/soft clay then a 1ft zig can also work for picking off fish that are milling around in the cloud thrown up by those rooting in the muck
Good Vlog, very enjoyable. I use ASM, the 13 mm yellow bright ones are very good too. My Mrs always moans when I'm preparing for a session , when I'm sorting out my bait lol.
Nice Vid Jon I have Subscribed ho your channel and I will take a look at your other vids. I will also be going there and having a go I have only just started but learning quickly. Thanks Jon

Hi Tosh. I'm visiting this lake in a few weeks, any advice on boilie colours/flavours at all? You mention in the video you fished 'sleeper' on the social. Anything to know about that peg at all mate or is it as per the maps online? Thanks!
Hiya David they have taken a few swims out since last year but I know what you saying if it's full it can be tight however if you look at my previous video there on a social we had lots of fish out with every swim taken the fish don't seem to mind tbf..
Love the PVA bag set up. Never seen it done that way before.
