Jacob Aho my car has the same issue but I think it could also be down to the maximum numbers of phones connected (which in the manual says 5 Bluetooth devices) and it says you need to disconnect one of the previous devices before connecting another (in the manual) the previous owner of my car had their phone connected but idk if they still have the phone which was connected to try and remove it, if anyone knows how to remove devices please tell me
Seamat, it,s because the radio is sony, no Samsung, that is the problema, maybe you have a Renault, or a Honda, you can connect your cellphone without problem

In the past I tried with a Sony Xperia P, and, though thanks to a somewhat complicated, it finally paired. But with the Xperia Z1 compact (which is more modern) it does not. Why? And how to fix it?
Yes my Kuga does this with my Galaxy S2. Then it says phone unavailable, then it connects again, then it disconnects, then it connects, and then disconnects. Can not get it to work!

If u got an i phone and it doesnt give you a pin then on your phone screen type 0000 then pair and it should connect and ask you to import contacts

Because your car doesn't have bluetooth module. It is an extra unit. Sony car radio doesn't make bluetooth natively.
mine does this but it useto work now just says audio muted took it out and reset it just the same

@@knulleriboy Not for sure, mine worked for a while. Now either it s broken or Im having some issue with new s21+ . Once its bounded, "no sound" .

My Focus 2010 Zetec has a Sony Audio and when I press the PHONE button it simply displays AUDIO MUTED. I can't get any Bluetooth on the Menu options??
