With a good GPA there are lots of scholarships here at UoM for international students. If your GPA doesn't meet the requirements, then forget it. Make it specific for your followers. Thanks
Okay, quick question… If for some reason someone is not able to pay their fees for first year completely and they’re locked out of aurora, how will they register/take the courses and get that “good GPA” you’re speaking of? I still stand on what I said that it’s not a school for people who want to sponsor themselves. I wonder why some people are skipping that part. You need a good GPA to get scholarships but that good GPA requires you to take courses (at least finish a year) which requires full tuition paid, so your first year needs to be settled before you can think of scholarships. Because there’s no way someone would be able to pay such fees from the little salary they make if they’re able to get a job in Canada.
Interesting discussion. I had IGSES at UoM which took half of my first year tuition fees. Then after one year I got a UMGF scholarship at UoM so at least I got something.
Thank you guys for telling the truth. People don’t listen. I’m a domestic student, and the only scholarships/awards I have received were partial ones. In undergrad it’s very rare to receive fully funded scholarships; let alone for international students. I’m from a French speaking African country and our French content creators don’t tell these kinds of truth.

Yes, my son is in University of Regina. He faced similar situation academically. But now he is doing well. My son got a job of 24 canadian dollar recently in regina. He is in 300 levels, All universities in canada is very expensive not just Manitoba.
For the professors, you have paid all that in tuition fees to address them by name and talk casually wth them. In Nigeria federal universities, you pay less, so you can't talk to lecturers anyhow. Lool
Maybe you can research about UM graduate programs as well.... Some of your audience may be interested. There's International Graduate Entrance Scholarship at University of Manitoba
You are right; which are the cheaper provinces they are talking about, Ontario, Alberta, Quebec or where? Manitoba is one of the cheapest provinces in Canada and UofM has some of the cheapest tuition fees among big schools in Canada - I am sure she might be talking about undergraduate programs.

Hi, i made mention of that in the video, but let’s be honest for someone who’s just coming into the country, you won’t get paid that amount because those “certificates” are a bit pricy and take quite some time to get so you have to start with the smaller jobs first 🌚

You only mentioned your friend got full funding but you didn’t say how, so if you don’t mind you can share, no one will come for you but saying I’m misinforming people is somewhat rude to say. So please be careful how you judge.

Yes you can get admission with a 2.8 CGPA. Their admission CGPA for an MBA is 3 on the 4.5 scale. This is calculated on your last 2 years of study performance.
Hi, yes it is cheaper compared to most schools in other provinces but it’s not a school that should be top on your list if you’re planning on sponsoring yourself entirely without support from anyone, except you have enough to cover at least your tuition till you finish your program.
Mine you should have ask if his course is a good one to study cause I’ve seen situations where by some people say a certain course(s) are a waste to study in Canada. Just because the course is not in demand for jobs in canada. And youtubers keep emphasizing on people should not waste a huge amount of money on courses that are not STEM or BUSINESS related. What’s your take though?
Hello Tamara, I didn’t ask because it’s not in my place to ask. I’m sure he must have done that research before picking the course to study. Yeah, most people would advise you pick courses that lead to jobs in demand so you don’t end up wasting money which is NOT a bad advice, but on the other hand, there’s passion and there’s God’s plan. If it’s not your passion you may get tired of doing that in the long run, some people even transfer from courses with jobs in demand because for one reason or another they don’t enjoy studying that course. At the end of the day it’s what makes you happy, the fact that the jobs aren’t in demand doesn’t mean people that study some courses aren’t needed. Every course is needed one way or another. I’d say anyone who’s looking to come to Canada as a student should do a proper research on the various course options and pick a course that will be of benefit to you in EVERY way. If you’re going for a course that has jobs in demand make sure it’s something you love or can grow to love!
