The tiger 1 will always be one of my top 3 favorite tanks! Any time you get to see and hear one driving around is a good day!! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, especially you Sofilein...Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
Quite a great variety of tanks that are still running after many decades of being manufactured. I recognized many from my youth when I built tank models.
Again, very great pictures from the tank museum. A very professional camera work, excellent sound and brilliant editing leave nothing to be desired by tank fans.
This my be a surprise but there are other tanks besides the Sherman that I really like. The two in your video are the Panzer III with the long L60 50m gun and the Matilda. In 1940 and in the desert, the Matilda was a monster! The PzIII is just a really good tank that has been neglected by history. That and it’s just really cool looking! Good video Sofi! Thanks for sharing your travels!👍🤣👍
Никто из этих танков не забыт, по крайней мере, мною! И каждый занял в истории танкостроения своё достойное место. Жаль, что тут нет ни одного танка из моей страны, а их было достаточно: Т-34, КВ, ИС и другие.
A running tank is so much more alive, methinks it's worth compromising the historical accuracy to get these things moving. Your old vid in the forest (Poland? when you cranked?) are so evocative.
I think sometimes it's worth it, but sometimes I wouldn't make that call. Very subjective! I'm glad I don't have to choose 😅 grateful for the folks who bring and keep the vehicles alive though
@@geotropa1043 Unfortunately I have to disagree, the Tiger was the first tank with a superposition gearbox. That didn't just brake one side of the chain to steer. However, the new gearbox still had a lot of problems and was not used in the Panther. Today this is a common gearbox in tanks.
Thanks for the great show...by the way, I just happened to have watched a video on the Kennedy's, and they've mentioned Marilyn Monroe... I immediately recognized that you both have similar facial resemblance.. how cool is that! 😉
I was a mechanic in an Artillery unit through the 80s and 90s, M548's were my specialty.
Who were you with?
So what can you say about your work?

Жаль, что нет ни одного советского. Интересно было бы увидеть тут КВ или ИС. А ведь во многих западных странах они точно сохранились.
Amazing to see how Tiger is so much more sophisticated over them. :)
if by sophisticated you mean slow and unreliable
@@Harvoll LOL
@@Harvolland overcomplicated and expensive
Was a cracking day out. Been to the tank museum many times as it’s not far from where I live and never tire of seeing the tiger.
Хороший танк, но мне больше нравится «Пантера». А из других...жаль, тут не появился проворный «Валентайн».
Oh wow. Really great to see these old beasts run. Thank you!

I love tanks and take every chance I get to see them

Nothing like the Tiger I, so German.
Both the Tiger and the Comet gave me chills.

Tiger 1 dwarfs them all, such a huge tank.
Love your videos !!!! Great to see !!!!😊
Great clip!
😂 A 548! An "Artillery RV", where the crew of an 8-inch gun would freeze in the Oklahoma winters! Many of memory of that old thing! 😉
Thank you for your videos
You go to places that I may never get to see in person
Thank you for posting this !. Love to hear the sound of the Tanks !. ( Not noise ! )😁
Nice footage and it was very nice to meet you at Fort Benning this year.

Great Tanks,!!! I'm new to your Channel, just subscribed...
Welcome! Glad you enjoy.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Great variety of vehicles! The M548 was pretty cool...you don't see those a lot.
I've always been fascinated by the Churchill tank. It's a real chest of drawers, only on wheels. 🙂
It has a super interesting sound! Tbh it's one of my favorites to see there
Have they offered you to drive the Tiger yet ? Merry Christmas to you and your family ☃️🧑🎄😎
Beautiful machines ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video.Tiger still my favorite.👍
It's impressive how smoothly the Tiger can steer without jerking!
I was observing the same. But maybe they just had the better driver?

These are all amazing! But let’s be real. Everybody keeps their eyes on the Tiger when it comes out.
Very pretty and loves tanks, too cool 😊

Excellent!!👍 Danke.
Fantastic!
Tankyou Sofi! I kept watching for that blonde head of yours to pop out of one of the hatches, but then who would shoot the video! Happy Holidays!
Awesome, I love Matilda II she doesn't get credit she deserves.
Bucket List item to go to the Tank Museum...
If I was there, I would have accident in my pants. WOW! So cool to see all those tanks.

You can do it at that museum but it'll cost ya
Is that Panzer I to scale??? My gosh, it is way smaller that I thought.
They did the armor to scale, too!
Hey there foxy mama hope you had a great Christmas.
Thank you for filming. Anybody know what the first transporter vehicle was?
M548
Old guys having fun driving cool old armor. Next several days, old guys hating all the cleaning and polishing.
Awesome to see the M24 Chaffee
It sounds great!

Goodness, I didn’t think the Panzer 1 was so tiny! 3:16
Olá! Sou do Brasil, gostaria muito de ver 2 tanques brasileiros. O Tamoio ou o Osório. Excelente vídeo!
No hay nada como ver un bien TIGER🫡🫡🫡
Oh Yah!
Baita +!

The Chaffee to me was an up-gunned Crusader

When the Tiger 1 came "I felt the 90% German in me come to. 😂
I've never seen a working Matilda!
The Museum has a Matilda I that they restored, too!
is it better going spring or autumn?
