@Fathercraft Thanks! Which is better the M7 or Cocoon Cam Plus ? I'm in the market for a monitor. Costco has the M7 for $129.99 after a $40 instant rebate. Thanks again!
Mocoftw this is my exact question right now too! The reviews on Amazon seem to be better for the M7 than the Cocoon Plus. What did you end up getting and do you like it?
Thank you for the review, we are expecting this year and looking for something thing durable, quality, and not too much expensive, thus this review helps. Thanks again.
Great review! More importantly, Hand with Reflecting Ball! I had that same print in my room for the longest time. ESCHER FTW 😂. Keep up the hard work and great videos🤙
Thank you for your review! I'm in the market for a baby monitor that is wifi connected so i can check in at anytime, but also wanted temp & audio monitor (for crying and such). Currently the price difference between the M6s and M7 is about $45. Do you think it's still worth it? (I do not have any plans on using the moonlight soother, but I am interested in the odor sniffing function and also the TVOC report, although I don't know if that will make much of a difference)
Hey Michael, you're welcome! We struggled to understand the difference between the air monitoring on these two monitors in our testing, as the M6s did seem to monitor air quality too. Personally, I wouldn't spend the extra $45 just for thee TVOC report after having tested them both side by side. We wrote more about this at fathercraft.com/ibaby if it's of interest! Best, Paul from Fathercraft
@@Fathercraft Sounds great! I know I am asking A LOT for a baby monitor and I do have a wireless network that's behind a custom firewall so i should be able to provide better than default security for the device. Have you tried the baby crying detection or do you just leave it streaming audio the whole night?
We did a little testing of the crying detection and it did seem to work reasonably well. However, it's limited by the sound your phone makes (usually very short, like a ding). So, you're relying on that one noise to wake you up or alert you to your child's crying. We wouldn't trust it w/o background audio for that reason.
@@cornchips well one thing to note -- we did find the setup process to be a pain in the neck and the iOS app is not particularly intuitive. We did a full-on exhaustive review at fathercraft.com/ibaby-baby-monitor-reviews/ if you're interested!
Yeah low profile indeed ... I’d never heard of it. Crazy how similar it looks to Lollipop. Here’s our review is that: th-cam.com/video/scFk_P9dZ-U/w-d-xo.html
Sorry to hear it Amanda! I struggled to get one of my test units to connect, and I will say customer service was pretty helpful FWIW. Good luck and all the best! Paul
I feel like im late for the baby monitor party.. my daughter is 21 months, so a toddler on a bed not a crib anymore and now that she is moving from our bed to hers we want a monitor but i feel like nothing fits the need.. i dont need to monitor breathing but i do need to monitor that she dont jump out o window o climb the furniture 🤣
Oh I very much understand where you’re coming from. I like the the multi stand option that Nanit offers as it always you to put the monitor almost anywhere out of reach from your toddler. The Lollipop is a good, more budget friendly option as well.

@@Fathercraft ahh ok that makes sense. I wonder why it has so many bad reviews on amazon but so highly regarded in formal reviews

Do you have to have an IPhone for this product or can you use Android or Iphone or both???
Neither! No app necessary, all done on the machine’s display
