Great work, especially in such tight quarters! And, ripping on a bandsaw - totally earned a SUBSCRIBE just for the sheer attitude that drives you to do quality work and you proved to EVERYONE that you don't need a mega-shop to make nice furniture like that. WELL DONE!!
Oh wow, can't thank you enough for that! And sure a big shop and the right tools help, but you're right, you don't NEED them! And yeah, ripping with a bandsaw was challenging, and I'm really happy I managed to tune it well enough to be able to do that 😅
looks much better than the one i saw that was made from fake wood and they wanted $400 for. I would much prefer to spend way less and build it from real wood and have the pride of knowing that I built that. Thanks Awesome job!!

Hi Fabien - thanks for sharing. Amazing use you've made of such a compact space! What bandsaw is that you're using?
It's a 25yo 350w bandsaw that I restored during the first lockdown. It's a very cheap and generic one that you can still find under different brands! If you Google "350w bandsaw" you'll probably find similar models.

C'est vraiment stable une fois assis ? J'ai l'impression que ces articulations rendent l'ensemble fragile.

Pour la couleur, c'est un mélange de rubio ipé et teak!
C'est super stable, car j'ai rajouté une vis et un écrou par rapport au plan original. Du coup je peux pas le replier sans enlever 2 vis, par contre ça bouge pas quand tu t'assieds dessus!

@@Deadpohl oui le rubio c'est vraiment bien apparemment, merci du retour pour le bloquage supplémentaire en position ouverte.
Et de rien c'est normal de reconnaître un bon boulot.

Comment s appelle la quincaillerie qui permet d ouvrir et fermer la chaise pouvez vous me dire où vous les acheter merci
J'utilise des tirefonds à double filetage, ainsi que des écrous a tête plate. J'ai tout commandé sur vis express car c'était pendant le confinement, mais ça se trouve en grande surface de bricolage. Attention à bien prendre de l'inox! 😉

@@micheljuskowiak9152 Alors, il n'y a pas de tirefonds double filet avec tête plate, c'est soit des tirefonds double filetage, soit des écrous tête plates ;-) . J'ai commandé sur vis express les réf suivantes :
