- Paris Saint-Germain are into the UEFA Champions League semifinals for the first time since 2021 after pulling off the unthinkable and overturning not only a 3-2 first leg defeat but also going 1-0 down in Tuesday's second leg, to cap a remarkable comeback. Luis Enrique was the architect of the French giants' downfall in the infamous Remontada back in 2017 but the Spanish tactician executed a second improbable 6-4 aggregate fightback to make history with PSG as the first team in 25 attempts to overturn a quarterfinal first leg loss at home.

Unacceptable mistake by Araujo and Cancelo … you can not do that at this stage ….
It's the location of Cancel's tackle that baffles me. If you look at the direction Dembele is going he is not a major threat...he was heading outside of the box. Just run with him and continue to apply pressure. Yes he has the ball but just continue to pressure him.
@brentparker1665 it was just such an amateur mistake, to do that inside the box and with one player less..

Taking out Lamine Yamal was a huge mistake. He was Barca’s best counter attacking threat and was tracking back to help Kounde. Lewa should’ve been subbed off instead.
agreed, xavi always so bad at sub player at important times, pedri or fdj would be a better sub
This is what I’ve been saying, in pressing and countering, Lamine is better than Lewa. Lewa does not fit what is needed of a Barca ST right now, they need to get rid of him and focus on brining Felix and Roque into the fold
They should have subbed Pedri or Gundoghan

as a psg fan, it was the first time in 10/12 years that I felt like we came close to be eliminated of the group phase. Luckily, PSG has never been eliminated in group phase in years, even with very tough group. That shows how good PSG is, and how good Milan is too. Milan would easily deserve a place in a quarter of UCL.

This is the biggest difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona... if Barcelona's DNA is ball dominance, Real Madrid's is composure. Its rare to see RM meltdown ever, even when theyre losing real bad or winning. There is just something cold and collected about them. Barcelona on the other hand have been humiliated year after year at this point, and almost all of those trace their roots to panic just as Henry said. Once you panic, in the Champions League, you will be submitted ruthlessly.
DISAGREE!!! They're both SPANISH!!! Therefore, they're the SAME!!!
Barca coach has a mentality of a 6 years old, things doesn't go his way in the slightest he pouts and kicks things around
Madrid got embarassed last year with an absolute defensive meltdown, and they haven't been dominant in the UCL since 2018.
They memed their way to the 2022 final and relied on Vini dominance and the power of friendship to beat Liverpool in Paris.
They might squeak out a win tomorrow, but they won't dominate City, that's for sure. They just aren't that impressive compared to City and the Guardiola positional/passing playstyle. City is the best team in the World rn, and Madrid is nowhere close. Best of luck tomorrow

Only Thierry Henry has good opinions. Barcola, Dembele, and Vitinha were the main reasons PSG took control(other than the Araujo red card). Mbappe before that pen was getting beat and bodied in every ball.
That's because Mbappé was not on his left wing position (Dembele took that position in this quarterfinal) I'm proud because Mbappe is very versatile 🔥
But even then Mbappe sole presence draws large attention from every players and as long as he keeps scoring important goals here and there it's sufficient enough, PSG has a lot of others greats to rely on as we can all see.
Dembélé was shocking in that first half, though. His touches were heavy. It was scary to see. Looked like the crowd were getting to him.
He definitely stepped to the fore in the 2nd half, though.
