I'm 4 years a little late but that's kick ass man. Well done. I have his seafoam signature strat also. Cheers from Nola. Keep kicking, bud (bout to impulse buy that pedal real quick!).
Pedals used: H20 Visual Sound V1 Digitech Turbo flange Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator Boss GE-7 Equalizer Boss Tu-2 Chromatic Tuner MXR Phase 90 Good day from Chile!
Delay- each repeated delay has its own decay time which is the same each time for each signal Echo- each signal that gets repeated decrease in volume and decay time progressively but you can't really tell until they are extended to stupidly long echos and delays
I thought Tom used a signature TD Gibson ES335 with “1” Gibson Dirty Fingers humbucker in the bridge with an analog filtered delay for the A&A sound. But great playing though. I’m almost thinking about getting a real cheap ES335 clone and throwing in a hot humbucker in the bridge only.
I bought that h2o pedal few years ago after checking one of your videos on The Adventure. It's a good pedal but unfortunately it doesn't have a tap-tempo button.
what are you talkin about. you're helpful. just few wanted or could make videos about delay and shared them, moreover including the pedals they used as references.
not really sure how that pedal works since i've never used it. but it probably has a manual or something that came with it or on their website that can show you how to tweak it to what you want. but ultimately you need to spend time with your gear and learn what sounds it can get by messing around with it
Hey dude...awesome video, do you know much/anything about the Boss DD-7 delay pedal? Also, did you get your guitars from Warmoth? or are they genuine Tom Delonge Strats
littleredguitars2 I’ve also sold my Black Delonge strat (with racing stripe), Epiphone Delonge and shell pink Hoppus bass. They were great axes but I much prefer my actual gear! Will show you sometime!
Hey @littleredguitars2! I love this channel so much!! Keep up the awesome work! P.S could you drop to the link of where to find one of them echo pedals?
The beauty of the delay pedal is that is can make something simple sound so technical.
He uses a capo on the second fret while riding the A string open with the intro riff. Awesome tone man!
get yourself a tap tempo pedal with dotted eighth subdivisions and you're good for anything AVA
exactly

This was a extremely helpful video. You honestly have no idea, thank you so much!!

The adventure is one hell of a song
Thanks a lot! I was trying to learn about different types of pedals, and this cleared a lot of doubts.
(Ps. I love Tom, his riffs are just magical.)
Bless you, i've been trying to figure this out for months!
Ive got the exact same guitar. I use thr boss dd-7 delay pedal... and it kicks ass! I get all kinds of options on that one.

Delay- each repeated delay has its own decay time which is the same each time for each signal

Need a MXR EVH FLANGER
Well yeah, there is a basement support beam there! XD
Wouldn't a tap tempo pedal be useful for this?
peep that rush poster
How to setting with nux mfx10 sir?
I bought that h2o pedal few years ago after checking one of your videos on The Adventure. It's a good pedal but unfortunately it doesn't have a tap-tempo button.
Sick tutorial bro
these days you can get all these effects processed live on apples GarageBand :)
what are you talkin about. you're helpful. just few wanted or could make videos about delay and shared them, moreover including the pedals they used as references.
you gotta do some research and find some that will give you the sounds you want. theres so many out there i wouldnt know where to begin
Never noticed that saosin poster dude! Great
not really sure how that pedal works since i've never used it. but it probably has a manual or something that came with it or on their website that can show you how to tweak it to what you want. but ultimately you need to spend time with your gear and learn what sounds it can get by messing around with it
Can i use flanger instead of phaser?
use whatever you want. have fun
It’s better and more accurate to use flanger. Tom uses an EVH Flanger actually
sure. if you can find one. they stopped making them
hello bro, can u guide me to get the "erison-transmitted" delay they use at the beginning of the song? please
Is it hard to wrap your brain around your ears not hearing what your fingers are doing? Or not so much
You get used to it pretty quickly
Awesome stuff man :)
How well would this with a modeling amp? I have a 15 watt Peavey Vypyr.
Awesome 👍 Do you know how to set up using Digitech rp90?
i dont remember
If you tap tempo, does that help at all then adjust your settings?
Yeah, that’s what I do
Bro I know u use more pedals, but I only got $ for one. So my question is, would a Boss Digital Delay do the trick?
katya simkin basically any delay will work if you know how to use the pedal to its fullest potential
I'm a bit new to guitar playing..but is it possible to play "The War" coreectly without a pedal?
EVENING CHAPPAZ
Hey dude...awesome video, do you know much/anything about the Boss DD-7 delay pedal?
Also, did you get your guitars from Warmoth? or are they genuine Tom Delonge Strats

This videos 50 years old. I dont own this anymore. Or any squier
littleredguitars2 I’ve also sold my Black Delonge strat (with racing stripe), Epiphone Delonge and shell pink Hoppus bass.
They were great axes but I much prefer my actual gear! Will show you sometime!
do you run your delay in your fx loop?
I don’t think it makes a huge different running thru FX loop
tell me what pedal do you use? and how to set it all
Did you actually watch the video because I name it and show it on camera pretty early on.
@littleredguitars2 do you think this is a good pedal to buy?
Is that a real TD strat or did you make it yourself and if it is what is your opinion on them?
@littleredguitars2 what was your pedals name?
Hey man, u said "i also have my.... (face??) pedal on". Which pedal? Thanks a lot. Really want to know
