WOW....I'm so glad that I found your video. I finished my first ever mitten to the convertible beginning and could not find a video that worked for me. They all suggested the back loop cast-on which definitely did NOT work. Additionally, no one else put the needles side by side to begin knitting. I spent 3 days researching videos and ripped out my work 3 times. Thank you so much for your simple explanation. LOVE IT!
