Danganronpa is a murder mystery story taking place in the fictional school going by the name of Hope's Peak Academy. The story begins with a student named Makoto Naegi, who has been selected among a big group of high-schoolers that are considered the 'ultimate' students, and begins attending together with them, led by the frightening headmaster, Monokuma. Their despair begins as the school itself has a dark mystery of its own...
