Just got my x15, and trying to get my sena on it. Wish me luck =D Also I believe the hydration attachment is a future thing, I don't think they have it on sale yet, although I haven't confirmed yet, it might be out now (but if not it should be soon).
sena isn't bad to mount. i don't have a video on that specifically right now or i could point you to it. I forgot to check more on that hydration gadget, couldn't find anything online, so i just emailed Don at Shoei to ask him.
@No Limits - No Regrets yeah it doesn't seem too bad. I have to dig out the spare velcro stickies, which means diving into a closet of storage boxes lol Also I was using the clamp mount, but I might consider switching to the sticky pad instead since it should be more aerodynamic. 🤔
@@ChanceandChoice digging into storage is never good! i had the clamp mount on the old helmet before trying this eyelights gadget (video pending...) and every once in a while i'd have to tap it as the contact surface was off a bit and i'd lose audio in the left speaker. To be fair, that sena was on the old helmet when i center punched a 7 pt buck deer at well over 100 and went for a tumble, so it did pretty well for what it'd been through. i also asked Don at Shoei, and he said he hadn't unboxed an x15 yet, but he thought they came with the hydration mount. i didn't remember seeing one in mine, but i'll go scrounge through the boxes and asked him to keep any eye out if he found one somewhere i could buy.

Hi My X15 has some whistling in high speed (I made sure my visor is fully closed). Maybe thats from the outside of the pinlock pins? Any advice? Do you feel the same way? Thanks
I've noticed whistling too, which i've noticed on other shoei's i've had too. No idea what causes it. only advice i can provide is to wear ear plugs inside the helmet.
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets My previous helmet is the RF-1400 and I did not experience any whistle 🤷🏻. But thanks anyway! I'll let you know if I find a solution :)

i've only had the X15 and previous X's and one GT air i think. They may not be interchangeable, but the basic pinlock install setup is the same concept for any pinlock shield. i have a video like this for the x14 i think that is the same process. the only glitch i had was shoei sent the wrong pinlock lens for the helmet shield on one of them. otherwise, no issues ever.

@@hendrxx_ oh, gotcha, no i haven't had that particular one, but any of the multiple shoei's i've had over the years have fit very similar and they all have had the different foam pop in and out options, which will be the next video once i finish editing.
do you mean the helmet coming off your head or the shield coming off the helmet? if the helmet is that hard to get off, you might need different foam is correct (foam adjustment video in description of this video). if it's the shield, there is a shield lock i think, so make sure that's unlocked first.
@@sehokim83I'm trying to remember back, and maybe it was just a little harder to get off, but still doable? conversely, the shoei i had with the flip down sun visor inside lost the visor in the tumble when i hit the deer and ragdolled down the highway, so that one was a little too easy to come off. can't remember if what model....gtair maybe?

Have you had an rf1200 by chance? If you did, do they fit the same? thanks in advance and no worries if you have never had one.

I don’t know why my X-fifteen is so hard to take it off. Is it normal? Or only for mine?
