I want to buy some higher quality pencils. I currently use Prismacolor Premier, but I have a love hate relationship with Prisamacolor.
I have a hard time convincing myself to pay for expensive pencils, because you use them & grind them & then it's $6+ per pencil to replace.
It's like burning money because of "brand".
I just want to color my pages pretty. I can use impresso, gesso, workable fixative & Spectrafix to "preserve a color page" if I wanted, so I don't truly care about light fastness.
I just want vivid colors that blend well with each other. (and better paper in all adult coloring books)
There are quality budget pencils & I'm here for it. Arteza is slowly becoming my go to pencil. Their Metallics are gorgeous. I'm going to order these & see how they do.
