Lifelong Longhorn. It’s impossible to forget this game if you’re a true fan of either school. My family knew a member of the corps that was supposed to work the night of the collapse but he had to study for an exam and pulled his crew off duty since he wasn’t going to be there. It hit him hard and just absolute respect the way the school, fans showed their best that day. I wish the schools will resume the rivalry someday.
My youngest son (‘03), was on the stack 30 minutes before it collapsed. His Fish (Freshman) Squadron won the Center Pole for their hard work and their Junior leader was killed. He dismissed my son and his mates, after 12 hours working, so they could go study and rest for finals. Before they could sleep they were rostered for the news…God what a night…thankful as parents and so sad. He’s a Squadron Commander, Lt Col now flying HC-130s…happy he’s still here with 5 sons of his own, future Aggie…Gig’em ‘03
I am in tears right now and I was not even alive when this happened - I was born 3 years after two the day. Bonfire collapse was absolutely horrible. Good bull by the Longhorns there. It also serves as a great reminder that rivalries in football aren't ultimately what is important.

@@garycolvin58 amazing how some people will take one bad person and assume the rest is like them. if the shoe fits wear it. sure these comments are poor taste considering the subject of the video, but assuming all UT fans are like this shows that you are no better
