I think because Somali confuse the majority of Africans in a sense of you lots identity. You're black and Muslim which is fine so are most Nigerians but you seem to coddle to Arab people and want to be accepted by them idk that's what is shown. So people want to understand you lot

@Mae Runway No we do not. Its other Africans like the ignorant Donkey Maku that want people to believe we are Arabs, Indians or some other foreign mix with people who look like him. Wrong we have nothing to do with any of those groups. Certain Africans need to be happy with who they are and stop trying to erase other peoples history.

@Quraysh القريش My friend you are just spreading lies and ignorance about my people's history, we are proud of who we are and where we came from and nothing can change that, now I have a question for you my friend have you ever seen someone with richer history and culture (Greek, Italian, Persian....) do adequate research, comment online and argue on the history of one small people group located in the horn of Africa, it seems to me that you are from a lesser culture and just wasting your time.

Somalia accepted Islam before the Arabs. And Ethiopia welcomed the refugees from Makkah. The Horn is so intertwined with Islam and the East. Somalia accepting Islam meant they can't do what their next door neighbours can, creating Eunuchs. While Islamic law forbade the emasculation of a man, Ethiopian Christians had no such compunctions; thus, they enslaved and emasculated members of territories to the south and sold the resulting eunuchs to the Ottoman Porte. ... The eunuch boys were then sold in the Ottoman Empire. Slavery in the Ottoman Empire - Wikipedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_the_Ottoman_Empire

The first migration took place in the fifth year of the Proclamation - in A.D. 615.
The king of Abyssinia welcomed the Muslim refugees from Makkah into his kingdom. He gave them sanctuary, and they enjoyed peace, security and freedom of worship under his aegis. About a year later, the Muslims in Abyssinia heard rumors that the Quraysh in Makkah had accepted Islam.
If it was true then there was no reason for them to live in exile. They were homesick, and they decided to return to Makkah. But when they arrived in Makkah, they found out that not only the rumors they had heard were false, but also that the Quraysh had stepped up the persecution of the Muslims.

The above-mentioned episode happened in his youth. Now we come to the most important event of his life which took place just eight years before his death. By then, he was the patriarch of the tribe.
The Ethiopian governor of Yemen, Abraha al-Ashram, envied the reverence in which the Ka'bah was held by the Arabs. Being a staunch Christian, he built a big cathedral in Sanaa (the capital of Yemen) and ordered the Arabs to go there for pilgrimage instead. The order was ignored. Not only that; someone entered the cathedral and made it unclean. The wrath of Abraha knew no bounds. In his fury, he decided to avenge it by demolishing and desecrating the Ka'bah itself. He advanced with a large army towards Mecca. There were many elephants in his army; he himself rode a huge elephant. It was an animal which the Arabs had not seen before...read the link.

Horn Africans (Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea) are proud people. We have our own history and yes we even clashed each other, and clashed other countries. And by clash, I mean wars; I come with receipts ladies and gentlemen: The Ottoman-Portuguese conflicts of 1538 to 1559 were a series of armed military encounters between the Portuguese Empire, the Kingdom of Hormuz and the Ethiopian Empire against the Ottoman Empire and Adal Sultanate, in the Indian Ocean, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea and in East Africa. This is a period of battles in The Ottoman-Portuguese War.

Aksumite currency was coinage produced and used within the Kingdom of Aksum (or Axum) centered in present-day Eritrea and Ethiopia. Its mintages were issued and circulated from the reign of King Endubis around AD 270 until it began its decline in the first half of the 7th century. During the succeeding medieval period, Mogadishu currency, minted by the Sultanate of Mogadishu, was the most widely circulated currency in the Horn of Africa.

It's one thing not to know about religion & history, it's another thing to choose to be blind deliberately! So continue being blind, but don't interfere in the East African matters. Notice how the East Africans don't preach or try to convert people. We don't say join our religions like Judaism, Christianity or Islam. We don't care what you choose to do with your free will. And we don't care if you acknowledge our history or religions.
And no you're not Somali or African for that matter! And Somalia and Ethiopia always believed in the 1 God, the Arabs were pagans, they believed in multiple Gods! Why do you think you find Judaism, Christianity and Islam in Ethiopia? Think before you speak, in this case before you write to respond!
Ahmed Deedat will clear things up for you. Let's start with the religion Islam, jump to 5:25 on this video link below, The Jewish people turned the religion into a culture so outsiders couldn't enter. Since the Arabs were looked down upon, God gave them the religion to uplift them since everyone looked down on them, and I didn't say that Ahmed Deedat said it in the video, make sure you watch the link below. Muslims believe Christianity used to be the correct faith before it became pagan because there is the Father, Jesus and the holy ghost. The rule in Islam is God is 1 but Christianity turned it into 3, and Judaism turned it into a private club. That's why the religion had to come down again so it can be for everyone. Learn the History and study every religion because knowledge is power. Try to tolerate other people and spread Love not hate, peace!

Next you'll be telling me you're shocked the Horn Africans are classed in the "Caucasian Race" because some crazy old man thought let's divide Africa into 2 groups. "Caucasians" and "Negroids". Coincidentally the Africans put in the Caucasian Race have a rich history that fits an agenda of pseudo science. And all the powerful countries are classed as Caucasians. And Caucasian became White due to some American old man, that's why Caucasian is synonymous with White. I'm not making this stuff up, click the link below: The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid[1] or Europid)[2] is a grouping of human beings historically regarded as a biological taxon, which, depending on which of the historical race classifications is used, has usually included ancient and modern populations from Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race
Do you even read or ask yourself what is the purpose of this planet Earth. Why is some people fixated on material things, wars, greed and corruption? Ever heard of history, religions and geopolitics?
I bet you don't even know that muslim people have to believe in Allah's books:
      1) The Torah given to Moses (Musa).
      2) The Zabur given to Dawud (David)
      3) The injeel Evangel/Bible given to Isa (Jesus).
      4) The Qur'an given to Muhammad peace be upon him. Muslims are not allowed to deny 1 of these books, it's like denying your religion.
And Satan is not an Angel in Islam, he is a Jinn. But once upon a time a go he was a good guy, so good that he was better than the Angel's devotion to God. The Angel's are compelled, they don't get a choice to worship God, they have to worship God. But the Jinns like Satan (Shaitan) had the free will to be a worshipper of God or not depending on what they choose to do with their free will. So you see stranger these things you see online called Shadow people or spirits or aliens are Jinns. The Jinns and Mankind (Humans) have a free will to worship God if they want or not, their lives and their rules. When you die, you better hope your good outweighs the bad or you will go to hell.
"...Allah sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the straight Path whom He wills." Qur'an 6:39
      Remember the Angels:
      1) Jibril/Gabriel is the Angel of revelation.
      2) Mikail/Michael is the Angel in charge of the rains.
      3) Israfil is the Angel in charge of blowing the HORN on the day of Judgement.
      4) Azrail is the Angel of death, in charge of taking the souls from their bodies.
5&6) Munkar and Nakeer are the Angels that question the dead in the graves.
7&8) Raqeeb and Ateed are the Angels that record the good and bad deeds before you die.
      9) Ridwan is the Angel that is the gatekeeper of Paradise.
      10) Maalik is the Angel that is the gatekeeper of Hell.
I hope you live to be the best version of yourself. Don't forget whatever Allah decrees will happen inevitably comes to pass by his power. "If Allah had willed, they would not have fought against one another, but Allah does what He likes." Qur'an 2:253
Look the beauty of this World is everyone is different, they look and speak different languages, they have different religions and points of view. It adds to the charm of this planet but don't you forget this World temporary and you will die one day. God could have made this World simple but He didn't.
"...If Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation..." Qur'an 5:48

The interesting thing is that they're both bringing arguments that can be easily reconciled. The lineage partt part of the argument is true but is missing a critical element: what's beyond that lineage if the longest Somali lineage goes up to 40-46 or say 50 at maximum?
This therefore gives reason to the other argument -- there must have been another gene pool that fed into the somali gene. That's why Somalis have bantu type Genes in them.
Instead of arguing with reason, the young Somali man is driven by passion and subjectivity.

WhyYouMad IsOnlyGame they want to claim all East Africans as "black" and "just like us" just so they could feel like they have beautiful people in their so called "race". It's really pathetic it comes from there inferiority complex. We East Africans are different than they are and they need to realize that.

Let me tell you about the Year of the Elephant. Abraha al-Ashram an Ethiopian guy. Learn your deen guys. So you can argue from the deen side as well. This guy is so strong that the Arab pagans couldn't do anything that God himself had to interfere and save the Kabah.

@@TheRedstar212 What's so questionable about it? We have system called Somalinimo and that is the glue that holds everything together. For example if a Bantu woman marries a Somali man, that kid takes the tribe of his dad. Therefore he or she gets counted as a Somali person. When that kid grows up, and they marry a Bantu then they revert back to Bantu. If they marry a Somali of different tribe, then that offspring takes the name of their father keeping the Somali name alive. Even if the tribe is different because Somali is Somali. That rule of the father's name continues & it's a system that no religion or corruption can touch. Each kid is required to memorize 7 grandfather's minimum. It's a beautiful ideology that's Alien to you. So stop hating and ask the right questions when you don't understand something. There is always someone that will explain to you.

It's unfortunate the other Somali sisters & brothers in the convo weren't on camera as much. I think it wudda had an impact on perceptions.
I exited the convo at a certain point, so not entirely sure where it went. But initially, it was not combative at all. Just a conversation between Africans who sometimes disagreed with each other.... or interrogated a point. Which is all good. Great respect was shared between all involved.
As an African, I learnt a lot about Somali history. Whether I agree with Everlas entire point or not, I admire his knowledge (and the passion that comes with it) for Somali history and culture.

Any learnt north east African disproves their fairytail so they jump to forcing the north east African (Somalia in this case) to say they are mixed or non native to reassert their claims of "west african" pheno Africans being the only natives of Africa😂 that's the underlying issue here. Ancient Egypt is located in north east African not central so it should reflect other north east africans. The entire north east is inhabited by somali like people and this is supported by skeletal remains and papers. Linguistically connections tend to made by adding in letters and changing others groundlessly. So far only somali has fit the hieroglyphics without force. Trust, I've seen it all. Entire continents share commkalities. Chinese folk have smilar beliefs and cultures similar to cultural europeans but that doesnt make ancient china european. They arent the same. In detail only north east africans connect. Nabta playa is inhabited by a horn type people aswell historically and in modernity today. It's south of Egypt not in Congo.

1.Genetically east Africans are from e1b1b, an African native man which is, you guessed it, carried by 100% somalis. The female lineages are native aswell. If they were mixed that wouldn't be the case.
    2. It's a fallacy to expect a modern man to know every detail of a peoples conception. This is from the time before many races divided. Asians were one, West eurasians were one etc. Eastern/Sahara Africans were one. Somaale was the originator of the somalis divide. Whether that was his name of the name of a group that formed somalis.
    3. To play dumb and mix colonial trash and modern warping of human action is illogical. Humans who reside on a coast can remain independent from other coasts, live statically and have others who roam nomadically. Right now people who live by the sea in Somalia are city folk with some who make a living by sea, others are nomadic and roam the grasslands of Somalia for food and others are country folk who live simple rural lives. Although they are right beside Arabs in Yemen the two population keep separate.
    4. Languages can mix for convenience. Coastal towns in Somalia have some words they CHOOSE to borrow. Example; although some coastal Somalia say weji for face many say fool (fowl). The somali language isn't mixed, coastal somali have picked up some words. Lol. Guess Nigerian is a mixed languages because of the English words right? Not because some kids want to be cool speaking foreign words.
    4. Africans that haven't contacted eurasians can have features other Africans do not have. Having looser hair, certain noses etc. Who said it was eurasians to begin with? It's shared on both sides, eurasia and Africa. Mutating is what humans do. Africa faces are very different from big nosed whites.
    5. X and Y chromosomes have mutated aka the human race today. Xs mutation can't be accurately dated hence why people date Y as its mutation rate is more consistent.
    6. This is just a bunch of unlearned people giving their opinions to push their emotional narrative onto the one that states otherwise.
Maku doesn't make sense. If you are learnt in genetics and human interaction and patterns in history you'll notice the nonsense here quickly.
    7. Big up to Somali man but next time do a bit more independent research. Somaale could be the man's name but every name has a meaning. Somaale could also be so' (meat) maal (occupation) aka pastoralist and not so (go) maal (milk).
    8. Ps the oldest human remains were found in Morocco 2017. Again oldest found thus far. Africans aren't from Egypt. The attempt to egytify Africa is a stretch. Somalis have claim as.they literally are from the same recent ancestral race as ancient egyptians as to north east Africans.
    9. Whites were able to label the non native somalis as bantu as they were saw them as very distinct to native Somalis. The difference isn't a Somalis fallacy. It's a reality. If somalis do look like another race in africa thats cool but theu dont. To say certain features are west African is stupid too. It's a combo of features that creates a look. Those non native Somalis aren't "west African" looking nor is any African with our a high nose bridge and looser hair. "Bantu" are from Kenya or Tanzania. Anyone can have any feature but you will still look like your own first. Aka Sudanese whom don't have high nose bridges with wider noses still look north east African.
Ps- Somali is a ethnic groups name not a nationality. Anyone can be nationality wise Somali but not ethnically.
    10. Let's have these west Africans do their own ancestry break down and see how far they go.
    11. Nationality is just a apart theory not reality. Somalis are African. They are somali. If another's identity bothers you it's within you not them. Figure it out yourself. Don't yell a someone to feel better of you reality. Have pride of your ancestry. Chill.
    12. that "original man" trash is bogus. West African dna is just as modern as the rest of the world's. Who know, even dna as we know it today might be incorrect. We don't know everything.
    13. The convo is basically non Somalis attempting to assert their presence in Somalis history because 1. They're threatened Somalis have some relation to ancient Egyptians 2 do the colonialist white man's job of degrading Africans to one "race" whilst keeping eurasia diverse.
3 annoyed there are Africans whose phenotype matches west eurasians therfore feeling inferior as they have to deal with the stigma of the "negro" look which they are insecure about. Who knows.
    14. "Bantu" Somalis are like any there non native people to a land. a) migrants to the land they now reside in or b) people trafficked from slavery. Period.

    • @najma2613
      @najma2613 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@jay jay to add, Africa has many races just like eurasia. Asians and whites are pale but look different. So to do Africans. We're actually more diverse than eurasia. Nonetheless, somalis are part of a saharan/sahel racial group in North and east Africa. They aren't special, they got fam in multiple countries who look like them too.
West African isn't a look either. African's can share feature but look very different. The neur and San both have Asian looking faces but are very different....seems somalis only get picked on as they are from the African race that phenotypically match shares commonalities with whites/Indians/Arabs which colonial washed Africans don't like

Right, my thinking exactly. It very propestrous to assume Oromos came from somalis. If anything, somalis came from Oromos. Oromos have a history closely linked with the ancient kingdom of Kush and some historians date their history to the beginning of the first millennium (I am think it goes back much earlier). Oromos are fierce warriors who are known for their skills with horses. The reason their history is shrouded in a bit of mystery is the colonization by the abbysinians. Btw, the Oromo language was used in the translation of an ancient Babylonian language ergo ancient Babylonians spoke a language close to Oromo. It is a great diservice to water down the history of Oromos by simply assuming that they came from somalia using pseudo history gotten from one person's oral history.

There are Somalis with Bantu type features and west Africans with Kushtic type features and there are some Caribbeans that look exactly like easy Africans.
Somalis don’t all look the same they have a plethora of different features, some look more black, some look like black mixed with either Arab, or Asian, or an oriental race.
Mostly you can tell a Somali, but not always due to what I’ve stated above.

Gingerbreadman GanjaFarmer These East African v West African questions are really starting to get old. First and foremost East Africans don’t have all the same features and what I’ve realized is that when people present the differences between East Africans v West Africans they always use Horn Africans ethnic groups like the Somalis, Omoros and Afars to prove that there are differences between the two regions. Everyone seems to forget that East Africa is more than just Somalia, Ethiopia, Somaliland, Eritrea, Sudan and Djibouti. Even in the Horn of Africa there is no such thing as one type of look. While the same can be said in the West of Africa.

    • @Bee-it8sx
      @Bee-it8sx 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Gingerbreadman GanjaFarmer There is no one singular “East African” look shared amongst all East Africa. Nor is there a singular “West African” look shared amongst all West Africans.
In reality, both regions are very diverse. There is even diversity in ethnicities and appearances within a single country. Therefore, two people from the same African country could vary widely in features. In other words, related ethnic groups will often resemble each other rather than simply all people of an entire geographical region in Africa. That is because Africa is the most diverse continent in the world so within any region, there is a great deal of diversity and thousands of years of separation between certain groups.
