Proud, until recently, owner of a last year 2009 Chevy Trailblazer...been looking for some time and happily bought an AT4 Acadia...and I love it! Test drove a 2021 Blazer and Trailblazer, doesn’t compare at all to the AT4 Acadia.
I like the AT4 look, especially in the Sierra. Push/Pull shift buttons follow the new C8, just different layout. Not a fan of the buttons or dials for a gear shifter, but the C8 shift button's actually have a nice solid, quality feel, sat in one that was at a local Chevy dealer here in Scottsdale, AZ. Joe Taylor yeah I agree. Interior is dated. Perhaps they need better designers like KIA. The strong point is the 6 cylinder with 310 HP. I’d want A good price to compensate for outdated interior. The price of $46k is really high.
I have test driven several SUVs (Pilot, Traverse, Blazer, Ascent, Palisade) in the past several weeks, and by far the 2020 Acadia had the smoothest ride. Until they get rid of the C1XX platform (blazer, traverse, acadia, enclave, xt5, xt6) and replace it with something rear wheel drive so they can put bigger engines in it, there will be 0 improvements to these. But I will bet big money that GM will never go away from the FWD crossovers and the days of great GM SUV's besides the yukon/tahoe twins are over, and those two cost so much they are forced to be street queens. Hey Joe, nice review like always ! The back is looking like the Ford Explorer ! The exterior is so Bad Ass but GMC really need to redesign the interior ! Comparing to the competitors this is Huge Zonk !
James Mastroianni His taste are probably detailed seats and a floating screen with wood trim on the side. I honestly like the styling inside & out. If the GMC designers placed a floating screen in the center, it would remind me of a foreign vehicle instead of an American one. I’m glad they chose this design because most vehicles have that floating screen nowadays which is nice but tiresome.

Question, all our cars have been GMC brand but thinking about getting the Telluride nightfall edition. Watch your reviews on that car and it's a really nice suv... What is your thoughts on that?
Not really an offroad vehicle. I guess it was an admission that 99% of users just need the all wheel drive for inclement weather. They COULD make an ZR2 type, but there would be limited buyers. (Albeit enthusiastic buyers) Imagine a diesel ZR2 Acadia)
Wow didnt even know this trim existed? I'm a fan of the Arcadia, wonder why there's not a sport version and here it is. Disappointed on the wheels and grill style though.
The gear selecter is stupid hate it in Honda's and Acuras and now Hyundai , Lincoln and GM are starting to move to them. A traditional shifter would do just fine.

Is the Chevrolet version of this the blazer or the traverse?
great vid joe as always
blazer, the only other vehicle that shares the wheelbase of the traverse on this platform is the encore. The xt6 is actually an acadia with a caddy treatment though
Thanks for the compliment Leon. I think many people wanted the Blazer to be what the AT4 offers off road wise.
@@james2042 Great information!

I would say the XT6 is based on the Traverse.
@@EdMiF The XT6 literally has the same frame as the Acadia. The traverse is on the same platform (C1XX) but its like a tahoe vs a suburban. They are two different variants. Go look at at an XT6 then look at a traverse then look at an acadia, you will see the traverse is 1 step above the other two in size
Hey Joe, nice review like always !
The back is looking like the Ford Explorer !
The exterior is so Bad Ass but GMC really need to redesign the interior !
Comparing to the competitors this is Huge Zonk !
Whats so terrible about the interior?
James Mastroianni His taste are probably detailed seats and a floating screen with wood trim on the side. I honestly like the styling inside & out.
If the GMC designers placed a floating screen in the center, it would remind me of a foreign vehicle instead of an American one. I’m glad they chose this design because most vehicles have that floating screen nowadays which is nice but tiresome.
@@theswagateer2806 by floating do you mean standing tablet like?
James Mastroianni Yes.
I appreciate you watching and the compliment! There needs to be some changes.
Acadia At4 vs Chevrolet traverse LT, which one you select ?
People in the 3rd row are going to duke it out for that usb port 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love all your car reviews compared to others. Yours is entertaining and informative. You got me on nintendo buttons lol!
Very good input!
Wow didnt even know this trim existed? I'm a fan of the Arcadia, wonder why there's not a sport version and here it is. Disappointed on the wheels and grill style though.
I bet the new Trailblazers will be more like this lean heavy into the off road but
Bro me again. Now this i like. Very , very sharpe vehicle . Keep up the excellent reviews . Peace ✌
Heck yeah
Thanks Luis for letting me share this one with you!
Alot of people talking down on American cars. I blame the shortcomings on incompetent Upper Level "Management". Who the hell put them in charge?
The gear selecter is stupid hate it in Honda's and Acuras and now Hyundai , Lincoln and GM are starting to move to them. A traditional shifter would do just fine.
Hostess cupcakes and Twinkies 😂😂😂😂 you never cease to amuse me!
This SUV is a complete ZONK. Way better options for $46K.
I totally agree with you Rob.
Hello! Is it Possible to do a video on another GM product? Buick Enclave? Id love to see what you have to say about it...
Sure I will get that together for you!
Like Chevy traverse
Ah darn I’m second that’s a zonk
I'm not zonking you because I appreciate you being here!
Gotta love the ZONK!
Thanks my friend!
I like the exterior but the interior looks dated.for that price is kind a like and no. Good video 👍
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
If you could do a comparison between the Denali and the at4 Acadia I could use an informative video to see what my wife prefers
You are so right, the Arcadia should have been the Chevy Blazer. The 'new' Blazer is an embarrassment to the name and history.
Thanks for letting me share this one with you! I am glad that I am not alone in my thoughts.
