I just bought a used 2017 GMC Acadia All Terrain based on you review of it. Best decision I've made! Keep doing great reviews! It really does help consumers get an idea of what they are getting into. Have you ever done a review on the 2013-2015 chevy Malibu's? Thanks again!

Thank you TheOp112383. No, we haven't reviewed that particular car before, but we're happy we were able to help with your purchase. Thank you for sharing and for watching, too!

Good review as always. I have test driven this and the Denali trim a few times. Planning to purchase it in the Spring in spite of the odd shifter. The rest of it is just that good. One of the best transmissions I ever had and I had this engine in our Buick Enclave and got over 200,000 miles on it. This Acadia's sound system is fantastic as well. Unfortunately adaptive cruise is only available on top trim, so I have to decide if I want that or the cooler looking At4.

Yeah, GM uses some fairly bullet-proof powertrains. Happy shopping, Kevin, and thanks for watching!

I love the electronic shifting, you get used to it in a hurry. By not having a traditional manual shifter, there is now storage under the console that is great for purses, wallets, phones, etc.

Great Review. I like this update and certainly appreciate the 5 seat option. However, why does GM continue to skimp on adaptive cruise control. Many of the competition have that standard at this price.....Hmmm...

I believe there is an option for the second row climate control. I'm picking up a 2020 Acadia AT4 on Friday for my wife and have been watching every review video I can find. There are definitely other AT4s out there that have the second row climate controls - the one I'm buying does not.

Thanks for the informative review. I'm seriously considering buying a 2020 Acadia AT4 soon and this helps.

Will you be reviewing the Lexus RX?

It's been a few years since we reviewed one, lovelyrita, so we'll have to see if Lexus sends us another one. Here's the link in case you missed it: th-cam.com/video/F09DJOt-ups/w-d-xo.html

This is not a vehicle that I would be interested in. Mostly I just enjoy your reviews, though. What I can't get over is that awful shifting system. I thought that Edsel Ford dies a long time ago.

Now with everyone using electronic shifters, manufacturers are exploring new ways to implement and package them. We have a feeling pushbutton shifters are here to stay, though. It's just a matter of which ones are intuitive and work well. We appreciate your support, Ron LHeureux. Thanks for watching!

AutoAcademics It looked to me like you had to pull on the selected gear button/lever, which is just counter intuitive to me. Please keep up the clear, concise and cheeky reviews.

@@ronlheureux7623 That's exactly how it works. And PARK is a button press. We like how those two things are different to minimize accidental presses, but engaging DRIVE feels a little counterintuitive. We remember the first time we used Acura's pushbutton gear selector. It was different, too, but we eventually got used to it. We're sure muscle memory will eventually kick in for the Acadia, too, but it will take some time... at least for us.

    Dear
followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.
