you know, the intro section (not really a solo?) at the beginning is nice. Speaking as a musician, a live performance is a place where you can expand on your work with real-time feedback. A live performance is not, however, the place to noodle about for over two minutes on a drum kit when the context doesn't really call for it. (and yes, there are contexts where a two minute dru solo is acceptable) Honestly, the horn section not having their shit together bothered me the most. The guitar, bass, and drums seemed to have the best grip on the rhythm and when they should be playing.

Saxophone only? Are you high? I suggest you listen to the actual song once again; there's plenty of brass. The trombones in this particular song are a bit iffy, but that's the beauty of an arrangement. This is Gun's & Roses with their particular flare on it, and that's fine. However, I personally think that the drum solo was a bit shit and overstayed its welcome.
The awesome thing about music is that it is art, so the artists can perform how they like as long as they have fun with it. No need to be an elitist about how people do their thing.
