Exactly what I be telling some people . Tank is one of my most favorite boxers , great personality can punch but he ain’t fought the best guys in his weight class.
Can you blame him tho? Most of the guys y’all want him to fight have belts and want to be the A side. Tank brings in the most revenue and will have to take pay cuts to fight any of these guys
Even if they offer him a large number, they would only be doing that because they know how much revenue his name brings in and they would be making big time dollars while he make significantly less
Shakur isn’t big enough “revenue wise” to fight tank and Devin wants to be A side bc of his belts meaning tank would take a big pay cut compared to what he would make as the A sode
I know Tank makes a lot of money, but Crawford, Inoue, all got belts and fight who ever they can. Tank was at 135 while Haney was in the same division with all 4 belts…. That’s not greatness to me. Do we consider NBA players great when they get paid, or when they win championships?? But that’s my opinion.
Buds resume minus his belts hes won is crap. He beat an old Porter and a weight drained 3x 🚗 crash victim in Spence. Those are the only hof he has on his resume. Inoue only has 1 hof too. He beat champions that didnt do anything after he beat them besides Maloney who won a vacant belt after he left 118.
@@anonymousgaming5725 Spence wasnt over hyped. He basically cleaned 147 out and did all the heavy lifting while Bud fought cab drivers. The injuries just piled up on him and he stayed at 147 too long. You say he ducked an old Pacman but Pacman got his ass beat by Ugas who got his ass beat by Spence. Spence would have cripped old Pacquio.
Tank generational? C’mon Porter. He literally hasn’t tried to prove anything yet or taken a risk. He ducked Loma and hesitant to move up for Haney. That’s not all time great behavior.
Naoya Inoue is not angry (though some disagree), just focused... like John Wick. For many of The Monster's opponents, it's all fun and games. They're sure they know his game plan, his tactics, speed, power, accuracy, offense and defense that are reminiscent of a glitch in the matrix...and how to counter all of it...but Inoue doesn't seem to have gotten the memo... Then, one by one, Inoue's opponents are led to the slaughter, fed to The Monster, sacrificed to the ring gods, as it were... Just ask Stephen Fulton...Inoue vacated his 4 belts, moved UP to 122, and said "Bring me your best, your strongest warrior"...and then Tapales fell, too... Naoya Inoue is a small, humble kaiju, with talents that, as far as I'm concerned, are beyond anything even generational. He is The Monster. Much love and respect from America!!
People just dont understand how technical that tapales inoue fight was. Both fighters kept makikg adjustments and having sucess until either inoue just tirned it all the way up or tapales was forced to turn it down and got stopped. Great, great fight. And unlike the haney loma fight, which was also super technical, it had power to make it a resounding win or loss
Nobody talks about the foundation that gave Inoue the opportunity to be, and grow into the generational fighter that he is, and that is his dad and the rest of the team..I mean, who was there in the beginning to instill in Inoue, the discipline, the dedication, to constantly motivate him.?.After all, we are all humans and we do need someone whom we respect and want the best for us to keep us motivated and focus so we can achieved our dreams and bring out the best in us, Shingo and his team is that foundation.. Shingo seems like a very good tactician as well...He should be trainer of the year, imo..
Hard work and talent is a scary combo, but talent is god-given, no amount of hard work can overcome natural talent. Inoue has a brother that also trains with him and his dad but he’s nowhere near as good as Naoya.
What resume 😂he hasn’t fought anyone a bunch of guys who took belts off of guys who held them cuz it’s no one in them divisions move up to 130-135 or stay in japan fighting journeymen
@@Retros2408 in boxing popularity doesn't always mean you're the best. Look at Ryan Garcia. Most popular one but skills not there. Just because you didn't know the lower weight classes doesn't mean there's no skillful fighters down there. There's a lot of killers down there they just don't get the same spotlight as the heavier guys. And Inoue demolished all top competition. And I mean demolished them.
Inoue regained 13 pounds after weigh-in, but was still a little below the max. He's not struggling to make the 122lb like Manny did back when he was young. It's a pretty good bet that Inoue's power and endurance transfers to 126lb. And even if he could maintain his success at 130lb, 135lb is just asking too much unless you're only interested in finding the guy that can put Inoue down. And at 130/135lb, you'll have big guys coming down for a chance to be the guy that stopped the Monster.
Back when Inoue was about to take on McDonnell, when he was first moving to 118, he sparred with Leigh Wood. This was in 2017 or 2018, and Wood had said he felt Inoue's power and that he definitely thinks it carries up to 126. This was five-six years ago. I believe that still stands. However Inoue himself said that he felt it was taking him longer to KO opponents so he wanted to let his body get used to 122 in the coming year, and aims to have 3 fights in 2024
@@ninog9737 I wouldn't count Inoue out at any weight against anybody, even at 135. Realistically though, he'll probably spend two years at 122 and we have to remember, even Manny Paqcuiao spent 4 years at 126lb. The most we could hope for is Inoue moving up to 135 for one last bit of glory before retiring around 36 or 37yo.
>interested in finding the guy that can k.o. Inoue. You're on point. These are the same guys that said Fulton would make Inoue look like an amateur. Now they want Inoue to quickly jump to 135 and fight Tank and they're calling him a coward for not doing so. And if Inoue loses, they'll say he's a fraud, not taking into consideration that 135 might be too much for him. And also these are the same guys that are defending Tank from critics that says Tank should move up to 140, saying that those 140 boxers should move down to 135 or else they're scared of Tank. These Inoue haters are clowns
Porter was on point. Everyone at 122 and 126 is in the monster way. Rey Vargas, Brandon Figueroa and Luis Alberto Lopez isn't anywhere close to competing against Inoue. I truly believe the only toughest test at 126 will be Rafael Espinoza (especially seeing what he did to Robeisy Ramírez). But at the end of the day, everyone at 126 is in the monster way. More hyped up to see Inoue fight against Emanuel Navarrete, O'Shaquie Foster and Joe Cordina.
Everyone sleeping on the featherweight division, when Pacquiao went to 126 he met the 3 mexican kings, and rn there are 3 mexican champs currently, will history repeat itself?
Naoya Inoue needs to fight those champions in Las Vegas instead of Japan. Inoue needs to get his name out there on the American continent. Best way is to fight a Mexican on the biggest stage. Mexican fans show up and show out.

It was good to see Tapales fight as well as he did, but it was also clear that Tapales was one or two rungs down the ladder in over all talent compared to The Monster. No slight on Marlon, just obviously true. As far as future weight classes, I understand that Inoue's walking around weight could easily be 135-140. Only time, and more dazzling knockouts will tell.
Generational fighters with the goods to prove their status Inoue Crawford Canelo To put Tank and Shakur there is silly at this point. That’s like saying Floyd is the best ever.
I think Tapslas came in with a well drilled game plan, the stance and style he adopted was really effective, it enabled him to take a lot of shots on the gloves and arms, he showed good discipline keeping his hands in that position to keep absorbing those shots, that kept in the fight as long as it did imo. Inoue was comfortable taking his shots, covering up and drawing Tapalas in. Definitely a generational fighter, holds a great shot as well. I think he could move up another weight and carry that natural power up as well.
Love tank but he needs to fight the big names like loma, kambo, shakur, devin and atleast unify 135 before he begin the discussion of generational fighter, he has the potential but he gotta prove it
His power isn't god given, it's cultivated. Ryan Garcia has god given power with that right hand. For Inoue every single shot that he throws has insane power. To be able to KO someone through the guard, it's insane.
I like tank , I think he’s a very good fighter, but he needs to fight more. Crazy that people asking inoue to fight tank, but the same people are they asking tank to fight, I don’t know, bud? The weight diff is huge. And also, lots of good fighters around tank, why is he not fighting them
I wanna see MJ vs Inoue. He lost a very close fight to Taples. And he gathered up those 2 belts before the lost. He had a good win 2 weeks ago. He should have been the one to fight Inoue.
@@latran7760 Yep....And the reason Tapales lasted as long as he did, 1) he was saved by the bell in the first knock down..2) To Tapales credit he is a tough rugged fighter...I just don't see MJ as tough and rugged...Inoue will put him away with a KO as well..
Yall crazy as hell. Taples got a gift against MJ. MJ is the real deal. Taples didnt even get a sucessful title defense. Hes a one hit wonder. Fulton and MJ were the clear kings of 122 before Inoue showed up. MJ deserves more of a shot than Nery. MJ is more powerfull. He has like a 90% ko ratio.
Tapales is a good fighter, he has two belts. Only thing he doesn’t get credit is that he is not black fighter, if one black fighter beats MJ? That fighter will call great fighter. Cool boy can beat MJ? I don’t think so.
I agree that Innoue is a generational talent but can't quite work out why Tank Davis's name has even been thought of, let alone mentioned. It's somewhat baffling.
I don't even think Inoue is decided on the direction that he wants to take his legacy and neither are we. Do you to play it safe and maintain a perfect record and high KO percentage, the hallmark, the legacy and main intrigue about Inoue? Do you play it safe but go up in weight to earn more respect but risk lowering your KO percentage and legacy? He's still right there where he could choose either path, but I think he'll move up once he cleans up the current weight class and gets bored 2 years and 4 to 5 fights in from now. I mention KO percentage because you could see in the Tapales fight Inoue, for the first time in his career, made a conscious decision in the later rounds to prioritize KO vs guarateed win by points by hitting harder but risk getting hit more. He'll be forced make more of these tradeoff decision between KO and winning easily by decision as he moves up in weight.
Navarrete fights at 130 right? that fight doesn't seem impossible. Maybe Inoue will fight the manda in 122 then move up to 126lbs and try to clear that division.
@@vansavestheday9968 that’s what I’m saying it’s a very possible fight but I’m not a promoter lol that’s my dream fight no one talks about forget tank he’s to big for inoue
INOUE can still fight at 130 Lbs but maybe just out point the opponent because he's still be with speed but his power can be absorbed by those bigger guys but lesser guys still gets KOd.
I believe Inoue is waiting to move up to 126 when someone unifies a couple of belts. I think that could be espinoza especially after the whupping he put on Robeisy. Can the Monster take down such a tall opponent?
Shawn how you find your cohost man. He's always talking from his emotions. As an analyst it's not good, as entertainment he's good. But he can't always let his emotions control the way he talks man.
I wonder if hes got super reflexes there was a Russian boxer in the 70s super skinny but scientist were fascinated with him and don experiments on him and found out his reflexes were 12 times faster than the top athlete but he could dance and then just wait for you to make an opening and then hed just touch your chin and the lights were switched of non of his opponents saw the punch coming thats why he didnt need much power to knock them out
This is boxing so every fighter has a puncher’s chance but barring that, Inouye beats Tapales ten times out of ten. Inouye took eight or nine of the ten rounds and knocked Tapales out. It was a “good” fight only in the sense that Tapales put up a better fight than Fulton did. Shalom
Listne. If he dominates 126 and also 130, and decides to super fight with Gervonta and Loma at a catchweight and still dominate those two, he will not only be the generational talent, but also really a historic GOAT of boxing.
It's embarrassing to do this 'okay, but fight at a real weight' - Shawn, you dont watch half the big title main events that happen, you certainly dont watch the lower weight divisions. Your guests regularly do not watch boxing. This is a culture show, and when you try to drill down on stuff like weight classes, it gets real silly, real fast.

Commentators usually forgets the former generational talent and former featherweight "Lomachenko". Even though he is already old, his skills I think can match with Inoue. I think Loma has better skills than shakur and tank, though loma is just way too small for them.

God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!

Shakur isn’t big enough “revenue wise” to fight tank and Devin wants to be A side bc of his belts meaning tank would take a big pay cut compared to what he would make as the A sode
So according to your logic he should continue fighting non champions that no one really cares to watch @toniosperspective6140
Inoue yes bud no. Bud is the most overhyped champion of all time
Buds resume minus his belts hes won is crap. He beat an old Porter and a weight drained 3x 🚗 crash victim in Spence. Those are the only hof he has on his resume. Inoue only has 1 hof too. He beat champions that didnt do anything after he beat them besides Maloney who won a vacant belt after he left 118.

@@siderussmith85he beat overhype one eyed Spence that ducked pacquiao
@@anonymousgaming5725 Spence wasnt over hyped. He basically cleaned 147 out and did all the heavy lifting while Bud fought cab drivers. The injuries just piled up on him and he stayed at 147 too long. You say he ducked an old Pacman but Pacman got his ass beat by Ugas who got his ass beat by Spence. Spence would have cripped old Pacquio.
Shawn is very intelligent in breaking down boxing and he is always unbias. He gives credit where credit is due.
Tank and shakur hasnt showed us a thing, they are nothing compared to inoue

Dudes resume is actually insane
What resume 😂he hasn’t fought anyone a bunch of guys who took belts off of guys who held them cuz it’s no one in them divisions move up to 130-135 or stay in japan fighting journeymen

@@Retros2408 in boxing popularity doesn't always mean you're the best. Look at Ryan Garcia. Most popular one but skills not there.

And Inoue demolished all top competition. And I mean demolished them.
That's an interesting way to tell everybody you are a casual 🤡
Inoue regained 13 pounds after weigh-in, but was still a little below the max. He's not struggling to make the 122lb like Manny did back when he was young.
It's a pretty good bet that Inoue's power and endurance transfers to 126lb. And even if he could maintain his success at 130lb, 135lb is just asking too much unless you're only interested in finding the guy that can put Inoue down. And at 130/135lb, you'll have big guys coming down for a chance to be the guy that stopped the Monster.
You got a point brotha, but they still gotta out box him. His skills and approach irrefutably makes him someone you cannot count out
Back when Inoue was about to take on McDonnell, when he was first moving to 118, he sparred with Leigh Wood.
Arum thinks he'll hold true through 135, and has said that for some time.
I can’t believe no one has commented on the Xmas sweater. It was lit!

Tapales did way Better than Fulton. . .
thank you for not being Bias Shawn, im was always a fan of ours because you speak your mind and facts.... love your show
We all know INOUE is exceptionally talented and beat a well gamed Tapales. I believe Donaire, Pacquiao, Casimero, etc all gave advice to Tapales.
Generational fighters with the goods to prove their status
Inoue
Crawford
Canelo
To put Tank and Shakur there is silly at this point.
That’s like saying Floyd is the best ever.
Shawn knows about how people can grow in weight. He beat Usyk in the amateurs who grew up to be a heavyweight when he was a welterweight
Sharkur got boo by the fans so he got a long way to go.
Love tank but he needs to fight the big names like loma, kambo, shakur, devin and atleast unify 135 before he begin the discussion of generational fighter, he has the potential but he gotta prove it
Porter is the man, love his breakdown
Al is as good as ever.
His power isn't god given, it's cultivated. Ryan Garcia has god given power with that right hand. For Inoue every single shot that he throws has insane power. To be able to KO someone through the guard, it's insane.
Inoue learned karate techniques of one punch one kill
I like tank , I think he’s a very good fighter, but he needs to fight more. Crazy that people asking inoue to fight tank, but the same people are they asking tank to fight, I don’t know, bud? The weight diff is huge. And also, lots of good fighters around tank, why is he not fighting them

Inuoe reminds me of young Donaire. Shuting down every opponent until he got beaten by walters that is much bigger man.
I wanna see MJ vs Inoue. He lost a very close fight to Taples. And he gathered up those 2 belts before the lost. He had a good win 2 weeks ago. He should have been the one to fight Inoue.

Hi Idol Champ Porter 😊❤
I want to see how he looks once he moves up.
No mention of Canelo Alvarez when talking about generational talent?
A potential fight no one is talking about is Inoue vs navarrete

This is boxing so every fighter has a puncher’s chance but barring that, Inouye beats Tapales ten times out of ten. Inouye took eight or nine of the ten rounds and knocked Tapales out. It was a “good” fight only in the sense that Tapales put up a better fight than Fulton did. Shalom
