The deaths of racehorses is a really sensitive subject so to make a poorly researched video using only A.I while also telling people to subscribe to your channel comes off very disingenuous and insensitive. It doesn't help that you get a lot of information wrong in this video.
Sarava: You correctly stated he won the 2002 Belmont Stakes but then erroneously say he died young of an injury when he passed away at 24 years old an average life span for a horse. He spent his final 10 years of his life at Old Friends an aftercare facility dedicated to taking care of fully retired racehorses like him. A cool story on its own definitely not a "life coming to a premature end due to an injury" like chat gpt told you.
Lammtarra: Again a horse who did not die young passing away at 22 years after living his final 6 peacefully as a pensioner in Dalham Hall following a full career as a stallion and racehorse. So this is another very inaccurate segment.
Shared Belief: While he did have a hip injury which sidelined him after his final race in the 2015 Charles Town Classic he healed from the injury and was going to return to racing but passed away in december of the same year due to Colic which was completely unrelated to his hip injury.
The fact you made a video about something as unfortunate and tragic as the deaths of racehorses and did it so lazily is very disapointing and I seriously encourage that if you want to make good videos about horse racing that people can appreciate drop the A.I script writing and voice and do something genuine using your actual voice, research and writing. A.I will never be a worthy substitute to good well made content on youtube.

I want to extend my sincere apologies for any inaccuracies and insensitivities that may have come across in the video. It was never my intention to misinform or offend anyone, especially on such a sensitive topic as the well-being of racehorses.
Your points about Sarava, Lammtarra, and Shared Belief are well taken. I can see where I went wrong in my research and presentation.
You're absolutely right that AI can't replace the genuine care and effort that goes into creating meaningful content. Moving forward, I'm committed to improving the quality and authenticity of my videos by investing more time and effort into research, writing, and using my own voice.

You also left out that George Washington had actually been retired and put to stud, but proved to be severely subfertile, only producing one foal. He was then rushed back into training and probably never returned to full “racing condition.” Why Coolmore ever entered this turf-bred miler in a ten furlong dirt race is beyond me.

Finally, Alydar didn’t break down on the racecourse. He was a leading sire that was almost certainly murdered for insurance money. Certainly a tragedy, but not in the same way as, say, Ruffian or Barbaro.
