Here you get an explanation of how the F Bass preamp works and examples of the tones in active, passive and humcancelling modes, bridge and neck pickup combinations and suggested settings for some different styles of music.

BN with 24 frets and 18mm spacing! That’s something you don’t see very often.
Was this a custom order?
Yes, this bass had the following custom specs:
24 frets
18 mm string spacing
43 mm nut width
exposed pole pieces in pickups
Pickguard
You can go crazy with custom details, but I wanted this to be mainly a 'workhorse' with only the custom details to make it more comfortable for me personally.
@@swedebass Is the 43mm nut width a natural result of the 18mm spacing or are they two separate custom requests?

Thank you for this. Silly question. When the bridge and neck icons are both present does that mean they are each set to the same level?
Not a silly question at all! Yes, when both pickup icons are present at full opacity they are are both at 100%. When one icon is slightly dimmed, it means that the volume on that pickup is backed off slightly, and if it is not visible the volume is off. Thanks for asking!
Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry one more. I see on some settings when active the tone is full. So basically the neck and bridge controls serve as volume controls correct. By the way, fantastic playing.
