I worked in several exotic stores when I was younger and as fun as it was looking back now none of them cared for their animals in a professional or even ethical manner. Knowing how much effort and money it takes to care for my small collection today I can only imagine what it takes to maintain a store like this, the staff here have my full respect. If I ever find myself in the area I will without a doubt have to stop by and check this out.

Truly an absolutely amazing. I love going there because everyone actually cares about the animals they're not just trying to make a buck off you. Which I really appreciate. And some of the reptiles he has there or mind blowing too to see in person. Just wow....

Stopped in today and loved it. Very clean, and nice staff. They let me hold a 6ft Boa. First time holding a snake that size and loved it! So beautiful. I have been wanting to get a Ball and never held one but they brought a few out and let me hold them. If I had the money I would have bought one on the spot. They sell bulk feeder mice and rats at reasonable prices. That alone will have me coming back.

If you ever swing by Wichita, Kansas, we have two new places called Exotic Pets. Owned by one person but a friend works for them and helps make it look outdoorsy. Not sure what all they carry yet but there are lizards, tropical fish, and other reptiles. I've visited one store, small but about to expand into a great display as well as a shop. This shop is one of the nicest I have seen. Clean, well kept and the animals are in excellent habitats. A shop I would like to visit and feel confident to buy from.

What a amazing facility and beautiful people! Great show Dav! They have raised the level as others have too example Snake Discovery. Off the wall question. As a horticulturist botanist my dream is to go to the now re flooded marshes between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers where the marsh Arabs live. Its a major fly way for migratory birds. But have wondered what kinds of reptiles live there??!! It is basically a shallow sea and tons of reeds. They build everything from the reeds. There have to be some interesting herps there.
By far the coolest reptile shop I've ever seen! Especially how much the owner cares about everything and the other workers are highly intelligent with what they're working with! Amazing to see this kind of love and care out into these awesome creatures
I have literally been visiting this place weekly everytime I drop my fiancé off at his job, it's the only reptile shop I've been too where they have mossy tree frogs in person, LOVE it!
Oh man, I thought the frilled dragon was going to light up the bulb in his mouth! He was serving “Uncle Fester” vibes. Very cool shop! The last “herp specialty shop” like this in NYC was way back in the day down in the West Village on Bleecker St. called “Exotic Aquatics.” It was the only pet store in the tri-state region that sold venomous species like kraits, mambas & cobras and all sorts of arachnids. My bro got his first snake there (a Ball Python), then a juvenile Dwarf Smooth-Front Caiman and at 7 yo my first lizard (a Jeweled Lacerta) and a Herman’s Tortoise came from there. It also got me hooked on “exotics” after seeing a Mata Mata Turtle & Red-Bellied Piranha up close & personal. They had a huge tank-full of the latter in their front window and every afternoon around 3:30PM all the neighborhood kids would stop to watch the feeder goldfish get annihilated on their way home from school. I appreciate the diversity of Dāv’s videos!
It went from Ben Seigels original retail location to The Jungle to this shop. They were all good shops. At least the Jungle was when it was first opened. Ben's shop was always a Tually really great.
Wow! This is a great shop! I’m in Martin County, Fla. and I’m really happy to see a shop here where the employees know what they’re talking about. It’s so important. I had an employee of a reptile shop tell me that Ball Pythons need 20% humidity and temps in the low 70’s. That blew me away. I’m new to Ball Pythons and just purchased my 2nd one (from a good breeder) and I knew more than that employee did. I’m definitely going to visit this shop. It looks incredible! 🐍❤️🐍
Dav you gotta hit Wild Things in Greeley, CO. They carry tons of NERD stuff as well as their own bred animals. Top knotch, clean, new, and they do great educational shows. 👍

The enclosures obviously are still a bit small, which is fine for a reptile shop though, allthough he'd like to keep many of the animals. I like that the enclosures have nice interior and aren't just plain and simple, but for reptile shops I think hygiene should go first, which is why many shops just go sterile.. if you get parasites or illnesses in these enclosures, it's hard to get rid of. Besides that, it's a very nice shop with so much to see and the knowledge is there, great video!
I THOUGHT THAT LOOKED LIKE JUNGLE! Didn’t know they changed their name, they’re the only place near by that sells discoids!!! You have to check out Underground Reptiles literally right down the street, they also recently redid their entire store and have danger noodles!
😫😫😫Aw man, I don’t want to be negative, but during the grand opening they sold me what was supposed to be a Western Hermann’s Tortoise, but it was a malnourished Eastern- totally my mistake for making the purchase. 😟. He’s still kicking though- long live Mr. Green! ✊🏽
