The 2 Thai crepes that you tried. First one is savory coconut fross, the second one which is sweet is made of egg, the white part that looks like whip is made from egg yolk. I recommend you visit Icon Siam and experience the tour boat that will offer you nice view of Bangkok along the Chaophraya river.

To make coconut milk, start by grating or blending the coconut meat (the white flesh part). Then, add warm water and blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve, squeezing out the liquid. The resulting creamy liquid is coconut milk.
I'm Thai and my highschool is near this area, but I'm still quite confused with all the malls too. So basically, Siam (the original name for Thailand) is the name Thai people use to describe that particular area in this vid. It's divided into the Hot Siam and Cool Siam. Cool siam is the side with air-con (with malls like Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery) and the Hot Siam is mostly Siam Square area + Siam Square One, other small malls and buildings. Siam Square is the streets that you were in (later in the vid) with many shops => it's very famous among the teenagers and it's near a very famous university and many famous highschools as well. Siam Scape is a new building - mainly lots of cram schools that's why you didn't feel like it's a mall. Siam Square One was built when I was in highschool. TBH, it is a confusing building with mix of indoors and outdoor zones. You will probably find lots of local restaurants and shops in the Hot Siam area, but since it's a famous spot - the price will also be high (even to the Thai standards). That's most of what I remembered. ps. I really recommend the desert shop at 32:41 (Cheevit Cheeva)! My personal favorite!
Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain a bit of the Siams 🥹❤️🫰🙏 Yes! It was so confusing 😅. We do plan on going back and exploring a bit more to get a better understanding. Also, check on that recommendation! Thank you and we really appreciate it ❤️❤️🫰🫰
I am currently living in Thailand so I thought I would share with you some local information Siamscape is mainly a tutor/school location where high schoolers take their extra classes (floors 7-9) that's why it doesn't have mall vibes or any shops. Those restaurants are mainly for students Siam center are usually packed with more fashion and in-trend stuff so teenagers usually shop there Siam Paragon has lots of luxury high-end brands which are mainly for foreigners. locals usually visit there for cinemas and karaoke. bowling and other activities. Siam Square have lots of food restaurants on the higher floor which have fewer foreigners and are less crowded (I usually dine there) The Siam Street Center in front of Siamscape are the main attraction for local teens cause there will be bands and music(activities) in the evening Siam Discovery is the newest and most modern mall. It usually has more designer stuff that you can't really find in Thailand (that's why u feel like it gives state vibes) we can't really find those in other places so Siam Discovery is like a place for imported products which are mostly more expensive. Have fun in Thailand! and I recommend you to visit the floating marking and other provinces. The beaches are amazing so don't forget to check those too!!
Wow!! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain in detail 🥹😃🫰❤️🙏. We really appreciate it. That is extremely helpful and now we have a better understanding of the Siams 😁
In the future, a huge mall called Bangkok Mall will open (near my house funnily enough) and for sure that will be worth checking out (although it's so big, its more like a complex). There's even a whole indoor concert arena being constructed so that area will really become an entertainment hub. SiamSquare has always been the "Hangout" spot for Thai teenagers and young adults for several decades now (It is also where lots of kids would get extra tutoring as is the asian way) but they semi-recently revamped the outside area to become very nice (A shame you didn't visit it since you walked into Siamscape). It reminds me a little of Hongdae in Korea, with outdoor busking activities. I would say Siam Paragon used to be the most luxurious mall but definitely others have sprung up and around as always and they're constantly trying to one up each other so sometimes things are really cool. Siamscape is a new one I haven't visited, but I believe it is mostly a study area for students/co-working space.
OoO How Exciting! That’s amazing! Thank you for taking the time to explain everything for us 😃❤️🫰🙏! It’s definitely good to know. We do realize we probably skipped a lot of great places even when we were so close 😢🥲🥲. We’re probably gonna have to go re-explore but more into detail in the future 😁.

Try Terminal 21 food court it is very cheap you will surprise the prices of some foods may be cheaper than street foods outside.Anyway your elephant shirt and that black t shirt so nice too.😊😊😊
Thank you for the recommendation! Really!? We will definitely check it out for sure. Curious to find out how cheap it really is 🧐. You got good taste lol. Thank you so much for the love 🙏!
Interesting the translation uses male pronouns, the original post in Thai uses gender neutral pronouns. Non gendered pronouns is very common in Thai language.
Totally makes sense! The food was absolutely delicious and as long as it helped the business owner, we’re okay with it. I can only imagine how expensive the rents are at those modern high end malls. Thank you for the comment/reasoning behind the price 😃.
You're not totally wrong. Just partially. That's because you were in a capital's CBD! The calm beaches and resorts you thought about our country are something outside Bangkok. :D But welcome to Thailand anyway. It is glad to see both of you enjoy the trip to our country.
@ChovyTravel it's cheap and comfortable, it safe to wear to any temples or even the grand palace. Moreover, when Thai notice that you are tourist, they will take good care of you.
Wellcome to Thailand :) it's a hottest mounth in Thai now. please make sure you have a sun protection and stay hydrated. hope you have a nice time here.

20:20 Thai crepe snack has two versions "salty" and "sweet". The 1st one you tasted was the salty one 😆. I personally don't like the salty ones too, but the sweet ones are great. The topping for the sweet one is ฝอยทอง (Foy-Thong) sweet egg floss. ;)
Really enjoying your Bangkok vlog content. Hope to see more BKK videos of you. When I first went to Thailand I was amazed. I've travelled 4 or 5 times to BKK ever since. Be sure to check out Phrom Phong as well. Also Thonburi Market is nice. Enjoy!!
Thank you so much, really appreciate the love! We will definitely be posting a lot more BKK videos. Wow 4 or 5 times! Crazy, but at the same time not really because I see why you keep coming back. Thailand is AMAZING! Thank you so much for the recommendation! Adding them to our TO GO LIST for Sure 🙏!
Regarding ladyboys in Thailand, I would say they resemble women more than you might realize, and some are even prettier than real women. That's why you might not recognize them as ladyboys. As for food and sweets, they tend to be more expensive when sold in department stores. Therefore, I recommend trying the authentic street food. For example, you can visit Yaowarat and Pratupee at night. If you want to explore many experiences in one place, Paragon and Iconsiam would be great choices. Hope you have a great time in Thailand.
That’s so crazy! So they’re pretty much anywhere and you will never know it 😯. Thank you so much for all of the recommendations! We really Appreciate it ❤️. We will definitely put them on the To Go List! You’re absolutely amazing! Thank you so much! So Excited! We love new recommendations 🙏!
Yes, very true. However, we love how cheap everything is and you can buy multiple dishes to try at once. We actually don’t mind the smaller portions. 100% Agree! US has very large portions 😂😂😂.
@@ChovyTravel Thai eating culture is sharing dishes when eating out in group or with family. But for daily life when you are out working, we would pick A-Harn-Jarn-Diao (Single dish) like Noodle / Stir-Fry noodles / Chicken rice / Rice with pork etc. or A-Harn-Tam-Sang where you have to figure the cooking style and tell the cook such as Khao Kaprao with your preferred meat (Pork/Chicken) or Khao Kratiam (stir fried with garlic) serve with rice and topped with Khai-Dao (Sunny Side Up fried egg). You should try them !
Really!? Thank you for sharing 🙏! A lot of other people seem to think that way too. Such a popular destination. That’s definitely on the list to explore 😃.
Really!? Gonna have to check them out! Thank you so much for the recommendation 😃🙏❤️🫰! It’s crazy, I don’t even really care for crab but I might like it in Thailand lol.
Hello! What is your ethnicity? Are you Japanese or Korean? I am a Thai-American and I am usually good at telling Asians apart but you got me stumped! Sorry, I don't know your names but I am guessing the gentleman is Japanese and the lady is Korean. You must go to the Terminal 21 food court on the 5th floor. You have to purchase a reloadable card to purchase food there.
You’re extremely close! We are Anthony and Caroline. Both Korean but I do tend to get a lot of guesses of being either Japanese or Chinese lol. Thank you for the recommendation 🙏! Any food specific you recommend that’s good at Terminal 21 on the 5th Floor. Also, we will remember about the card, Thank you so much 🙏!
@@ChovyTravel Hi Anthony and Caroline, if you don't mind me guessing, you both are American Born Korean(ABK), ...and maybe living in SoCal. Have you visit IconSiam yet (not the same area as Siam Center)? If you haven't, it is a must visit mall in BKK. It is on the other side of the Chao Phraya River bank. I think you have to take the gold line MRT/BTS. Also, hope you two are aware that you are in the beginning of Thai New Year Songkran (Water Festival). Some areas in BKK may have started the water festival over the weekend. If you are still stay in Thailand, research the youtube videos on get ready tips for Songkran. Omg! That completely makes sense about LadyBoys! Yes, we heard they are very pretty. Well, we’re not necessarily looking 😊 but we are curious. Everything is so new to us, and all of you guys are so helpful. We definitely appreciate the help/advice 🙏. That’s so interesting that it was inspired by Myeongdong! Makes us more excited to go check it out even sooner. We will be going to Korea in the near future too! Once again, thank you so much 🙏!
Thank you Thank you! It’s easy to just be ourselves because Thailand is so Chill. We love it! 😂 😂 😂 I did literally give away my age! Old man naming an old school game 😊.
totally agreed i don't enjoy my meal to be so sweet but i think the new thais are leaning to sweet food rather than traditional taste of pad thai should be salty then sour then sweet or vs salty->sweet->sour but never too sweet as a thai i dont eat pad thai in the mall or a fancy restaurant cause they usually make it too sweet for me
We believe it is safe. We haven’t had any issues 😃. We typically travel via BTS/Grab/Bolt. We’ve only ridden the Bus and Tuk Tuk once and that wasn’t bad either.
@@ChovyTravel August 😁 Staying in Bangkok for couple of days then visit Pattaya and Phuket. I ask if it’s safe because three ladies will be traveling with me 😂. Thank you for the reply.
Ahh got it. How exciting! You guys are a few months away 😃. We noticed Bangkok is great! Pattaya is a little rough and we never been to Phuket so we can’t say. No problem 😁.
**That Padthai you have eaten is one of the most famous Padthai in Thailand. The name is "Pid-sa-mai Padthai" ** I'm pretty sure you already saw some ladyboy but you can't differentiate between them
May I correct some of your comment. It’s called THIP SA MAI (ทิพย์สมัย) not pid sa mai 😂 It’s very famous among tourists and also some Thai people. For me, as a Thai I think the flavor is too soft and too sweet and kinda too orange color. I prefer another padthai more than this one. I love your reaction during eating. About the outfit. You can just wear red elephant shirt without tee inside due to a hot weather. I recommend an elephant pants, very comfortable and reasonable price. Lots of Thai people also wear elephant pants.
You guys should definitely try Thai specials in famous fast food chains. And the ladyboy part you probably saw several but didn't recognize them because some look more lady-like than real women here lmao
@@ChovyTravel I’d recommend you go for Wingz Zaab and green curry/spicy chicken rice bowl from KFC, especially if you prefer sour flavor I think you’ll like them! Most of fast food chains have their own rice bowl with a Thai twist.
About the lady boy, maybe you may seen, but you didn't recognize them 😂 because theseday They are so beautiful and very look a like women. 🫣 Ladyboy in Pattaya is noticable, but ladyboy in the city is more harmonious. - Pad thai Tipsamai is one of the famous Padthai, but I don't like them that much. I think it is a little bit overrate, some local shop is comparable or can be better. For me Tipsamai is best in Orange juice 😂😂😂😂 It is very very expensive orange juice, but it slay~.
😂 😂 😂 That is so true! Wow that’s crazy, you’re absolutely right! We could’ve totally passed by them and not even know it 😯! Thipsamai must be a very foreign friendly spot because I hardly saw any locals eat them so that makes sense. We didn’t get to try the orange juice. Next time we will for sure! Thanks for sharing your experience with Thipsamai as we’ll 👍!

Really!? Thank you for sharing 🙏! A lot of other people seem to think that way too. Such a popular destination. That’s definitely on the list to explore 😃.
“ Herehai” is the best crab fried rice with Michelin. If you have a chance, try it. You can google for information. I like that a lot.
Really!? Gonna have to check them out! Thank you so much for the recommendation 😃🙏❤️🫰! It’s crazy, I don’t even really care for crab but I might like it in Thailand lol.
I don’t recommend buying western brands in Thailand, it’s usually more expensive due to the added tax. But you can claim the tax back of course.
Ahh makes sense! Initially we were thinking the prices are similar to other countries too.
This video list date / designated locations where people allow to play with water th-cam.com/video/XPhGl46LC-8/w-d-xo.html Sorry, the event dates are listed in Thai. I can list some of it for you (If you are in BKK (@:18 second).

* 4/12 - 4/15 @ RCA Central BKK

Definitely a great guess but Caroline was born in Korea and I was born in SoCal.
ICONSIAM is definitely on the list! Thanks to everyone being so helpful and giving us some great recommendations!
Yes, we are extremely excited to be in Thailand during Songkran. We appreciate you going through the trouble of finding us list of event dates 🥹! Thank you so much 🙏! We hope you have a great Songkran as well. Happy Songkran New Year!

I actually like your style.pretty casual relax. Why care? counter strike. I can assume your age😂😂😂😂
Thank you Thank you! It’s easy to just be ourselves because Thailand is so Chill. We love it!
😂 😂 😂 I did literally give away my age! Old man naming an old school game 😊.
@@ChovyTravel yeah Counter strike 0.6. Still remember playing at Internet Cafe
Bro! Those were the days! Going to PC Bang playing Counter Strike drinking Boba Drinks, clan matches lol. I think it’s CS 1.6. Reminiscing 😂😂😂.
totally agreed i don't enjoy my meal to be so sweet but i think the new thais are leaning to sweet food rather than traditional taste of pad thai should be salty then sour then sweet or vs salty->sweet->sour but never too sweet
as a thai i dont eat pad thai in the mall or a fancy restaurant cause they usually make it too sweet for me
or another way you can tell the cook you don't like sweet for the cook to adjust the taste accordingly
Thank you so much for sharing! That makes total sense.
The meals in the malls are expensive compared to street food
100% Agree! Definitely a premium.
Nice! I’m planning to go to Thailand is it safe? What about transportation?
We believe it is safe. We haven’t had any issues 😃.
We typically travel via BTS/Grab/Bolt. We’ve only ridden the Bus and Tuk Tuk once and that wasn’t bad either.
When are you planning to visit Thailand?
@@ChovyTravel August 😁 Staying in Bangkok for couple of days then visit Pattaya and Phuket. I ask if it’s safe because three ladies will be traveling with me 😂. Thank you for the reply.
Ahh got it. How exciting! You guys are a few months away 😃. We noticed Bangkok is great! Pattaya is a little rough and we never been to Phuket so we can’t say.
No problem 😁.
I pretty sure, you passed a few lady boys in Siam Paragon. Some of them are prettier than a real woman though..........
You’re probably right! 😅😅😅.

Sorry, I have no idea who that is 🤷.
if you put a little bit of fish sauce on the fried rice. it would've been 100/10.
Really!? Wow, thank you so much for the TIP 😃❤️🙏!
Welcome !
Thank you so very much 😃❤️🫰🙏
Where u come from? Welcome to Bkk.enjoy it.
We are from America. Thank you so much for the welcome 😃❤️🫰🙏! We love Thailand ❤️❤️🫰🫰.
Not true, you can play with more than one player at a time in Super Mario Wonder.
Really!? That Game was actually pretty fun and addicting. First time playing it and it was rather interesting 😆.
@@ChovyTravel Yes, there are levels you can play with a friend. I don't have any friends, but I know it's possible.
Very Interesting. Thanks for letting us know 😃❤️🫰🙏.
In that area you miss MBK …cheap and fake product there .
That’s definitely on our list! Thank you very much for the reminder. Can’t wait to experience that! Any Tips? 😃
suggest to go Siam street pretty godd walk
Thank you so much for the suggestion 😃❤️🫰🙏! Any recommendations at Siam Street?
rating outfits foreigners/10
What!? Amazing! Thanks for the Rating! 10/10 WOW! 😎😉😃🙏!
**That Padthai you have eaten is one of the most famous Padthai in Thailand.
The name is "Pid-sa-mai
Padthai"
** I'm pretty sure you already saw some ladyboy but you can't differentiate between them
Thank you so much for letting us know 😃🫰❤️🙏!
Yes! There are a lot of beautiful ladyboys. Some are more noticeable than others 😁.
May I correct some of your comment. It’s called THIP SA MAI (ทิพย์สมัย) not pid sa mai 😂
It’s very famous among tourists and also some Thai people.
It was definitely pretty good.
Thank you so very much 😃🫰❤️🙏
I do need to get some elephant pants 😂
You're paying for the sitting area and the air conditioning plus the food
Exactly! 😂
You guys should definitely try Thai specials in famous fast food chains. And the ladyboy part you probably saw several but didn't recognize them because some look more lady-like than real women here lmao
We definitely should/will! Any recommendations!?
You’re absolutely right! We probably did see them and we’re surrounded by them 😂.
@@ChovyTravel I’d recommend you go for Wingz Zaab and green curry/spicy chicken rice bowl from KFC, especially if you prefer sour flavor I think you’ll like them! Most of fast food chains have their own rice bowl with a Thai twist.
Thank you so much for the recommendations 🙏! We appreciate it ❤️ 🫰. We do love sour food, yummy!
About the lady boy, maybe you may seen, but you didn't recognize them 😂 because theseday They are so beautiful and very look a like women. 🫣
Ladyboy in Pattaya is noticable, but ladyboy in the city is more harmonious.
I got bad news for you
3:40 that price is for the monitor alone, computer not included 😂😂
Really!? Oh wow! 😂😂😅😅.
Your shirt looks amazing and very suits this summer.
Thank you so much 🙏! I do like it! It’s so thin and necessary with the Heat of Bangkok 😃.
Thank you for good information of Bangkok in Thailand.
It’s our pleasure. Thank you for coming along to experience it together 😃❤️🫰🙏!
