Interesting video Steve Hedges, and lovely photography😲🙂👍. Nice that the wildlife at Richmond Park were happy to pose for the camera 📸. Nice to see the Little Egrets, they’re becoming a very common bird now. Parakeets are so beautiful and lovely to see, I sometimes see them on my peanut feeders🙂.
Thanks very much Nirmal, yes Richmond Park is such a great place for wildlife photography. You're right Little Egrets are becoming very common now. Lovely birds though. Yep Parakeets are beautiful with bags of character. All the best, Steve.
Hi James, thanks very much really pleased you enjoy my vlogs. Yeah been so busy with work but it's good to be making videos again. All the best, Steve.
I love to photograph around local runoff ponds and around the local park. I get some great images of ducks, egret, blue heron, green heron, grackle, goose, ground hogs, and whitetail deer. I also enjoy going to Cherokee,NC to photograph the elk that come down to the fields to feed. I guess that isn't really urban, but thet really don't seem to mind that people are around and I've even had them to lick the road salt from my truck on a snowy day. Thanks for the video!
Hi Jon, sounds like you have a fantastic local area for wildlife photography. What a list of local species. I think photographing local wildlife really gives us the opportunity to get to know their behaviour. Thanks for watching, all the best Steve.
Great video Steve. As you say urban wildlife can give some excellent opportunities especially if you are learning wildlife photography. It also often gives opportunities to get that low angle. Cheers Keith
Good video and stills Steve and as Mark said, you can't beat local wildlife photography. We are fortunate to live near a park and farmland where sometimes, the wildlife is really good. I'm glad that you mentioned fieldcraft, which is really important and can get you even better shots than you think. Take care mate.
Cheers Steve, nicely done. All the best. 👍📷😎
Thanks very much Rob, cheers Steve.
Nice one Steve, good to focus on Wildlife close to home. 👍
Yes certainly is mate. We have a good number of short eared owls locally at the moment. Recently I got my best ever pictures of them. Cheers Steve.
