  • ALL Halverson Wood Processors (to date) are STANDARD flow hydraulics with a case drain line.
    15.5 GPM at a minimum of 2,850 PSI (more is better) is needed to run the processors.
    This 2006 Bobcat ToolCat 5600 has 18.5 GPM @ 3,000 PSI and ran the HWP-120 beautifully. We had a few challenges from some knotty logs, but it gave a good opportunity to highlight a few tips and tricks.
    I do my best to keep it in the real world, not every log is perfect, and I normally get the last piece to fall in vs the competition's videos!!!
    As always, thanks for watching.

    could you run a machine like this on a vermeer ctx100 or similar? how does the one handed control look like? are the controls waterproof for a machine without a cab?

    AJ Yes I have had the problem with the blocks getting jammed under the wedge, however I am installing a linier actuator on my wedge so I should not have this problem any longer.. Good tip though.. I wish I would have seen this video sooner.. I am also impressed with the way this little Bobcat toolcat runs this 120.. R.B. Barnby

    Interesting, I don't think those pickup arms need to be that long unless you plan to run 2-3 small logs at same time. If they were half the length it would put it at a better angle when picking up a log.
    I'm only here because I operated a Toolcat at my mall about 12 years ago for snow removal and loved it. So I'm going down memory lane and dreaming about owning one myself. I saved this video incase I want this attachment, seems like it would save a lot of back breaking hours.

      It’s more for visibility in the cab. The longer arms let you see under the unit to get a good “scoop” on the log. It’s a great unit, saves a ton of time and yes, saves your back!

      @@ShaverSalesINC Do I have to order it "Excavator Specific" OR "Skidsteer Specific"? Or will one unit work with both machines w an adapter?

    • @ShaverSalesINC
      @ShaverSalesINC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jeremiahscoutii7561 it comes as a universal skidsteer mount. You’d need an adapter to go to your specific excavator.

    I’m curious does this piece of equipment have the option for an 8 way head and how do you set it up for length measurements of the wood? I’m really considering this as an option down the road.

      The 140b has a built in length guide and is better suited for the 6-way. It has a bigger pusher plate for use with the 6-way. The 120 will work with the 6-way, just have to drop it down a little. I’d love to get you a quote. Call or email. Thx AJ

      @@ShaverSalesINC thanks for the info. I’m still way to small of an operation to afford loaders yet but this is pretty awesome solution to the cost of a processor.

      just have to watch out for things stuck to the bark. Winter is the worst with things frozen to the logs. Helps to keep them up on runners
